The hotel is currently under construction in the main lobby so that is something that should be disclosed. The front desk was helpful and accommodating after we needed to change from the original room to something quieter.

It was fine. The hotel itself is in good shape and they were embarking on remodeling or something. There was a lot of drilling and jackhammering during breakfast. It was totally fine. No complaints. But the hotel could make some minor improvements and make it so much better. The hotel is sterile, it lacks artwork and decor. Rooms also very sterile and need some art or something . Bathrooms should have wash clothes; shampoo conditioner etc. The pool was stunning. Beautiful. Didn't use as it was too cold, but I'm sure it will be great in the summers in Mexicali. Parking was nice and convenient. Overall we were pleased.

Convenient parking. Friendly staff. Dirty sheets (yellow stain). Large Crack in bathroom sink. Could hear Traffic noise all night in our 3rd floor room, making it Difficult to sleep. Train noise during the night. Including HORN. Noise from outside sounded like there was not even a window or that our window was open. Could feel air coming in the edge of the window. (needs sealed) Weak coffee... served from a separate kiosk, not in the Dining Room... no refills. The dirty sheets will keep us from staying at this hotel on future visits.

We check in early, very nice but when we get to our room, the bed had dirty sheets, was very dirty not change hair all over the sheets and alot stains, also you can see someone else sleeps on does sheets. I call front desk and request the bed to get change, Last month I stay also and the same problem, I didn't say anything because I don't want to complain but yesterday's was worst-case.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 out of 5 stars I gave Real Inn 3 stars mainly because of the air conditioning issue on the lower floors. No matter how low you set the temperature, the rooms just don’t seem to cool down properly. It gets uncomfortably warm, especially at night. It’s frustrating because you expect consistent comfort throughout the hotel, but the lower levels definitely need better air conditioning maintenance or upgrades. That said, the staff is good and helpful.

Hotel is under remodeling which is always good. Our room was clean but the ac was not cool. The air was warm and at times fresh but not ac cool. Staff was very friendly. I just wished the ac situation can be fixed. I’m looking forward to stay again.

Stayed on the fifth floor and noticed that the window sounded like it was open went to check and it wasn’t fully shut. The latch was missing three screws, so if you put a little pressure on it the window would pop open, which did scare my dad. I informed front desk and they notified maintenance. Not sure if issue was resolved because we checked out.

Dear Expedia Customer Service I am writing to share my disappointment with my recent reservation experience at Real Inn in Mexicali, booked through Expedia for early November. I had reserved this room well in advance, but upon arrival, the property staff informed me that they were fully booked and my reservation could not be honored. This left my family and me in a very inconvenient and frustrating situation, as we had to look for alternative accommodations late at night. I hope the property and Expedia improve communication and reservation management to prevent this from happening to other guests.

This hotel has the most rude personnel. first the receptionist was not very friendly she was rude did not provide any instructions where to park or how to get to the room. Second when we walked in the room it had an awful smell, and the AC Did not work I called various times to have someone check it they kept on saying they would send someone to do so took over an hour and they never went to check the AC until I decided to call for the 3th time and thats when they decided to move me to another room horrible experience I dont recommend this place this will be my first and last that I stay here

Hector at the front desk was very professional and friendly and got me a great room! The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The dinner was tasty and the female server was very pleasant. My only suggestion is to give a larger food portion. The pool and outside area was kept clean. Nice hotel.

I had a terrible experience today at real inn. We were in town for a funeral and check in time was at 3pm we tried to check in at 3:30 and no rooms were ready. We finally got into our room around 4pm ( the time the funeral was supposed to start) we changed and headed out. We stayed on the 6 floor, leaving the elevators were both broken. We had to take the stairs down to the lobby. The next day for checkout supposedly at 12 and one of the employees was knocking on our door at 9 am asking if we were still sleeping?? Fourtunely we were on our way out and not asleep. So on our way out the same employee waved us down and told us to come back to the room. Which we did. He told us that one of the towels was really dirty. Which it was bc we used it to wipe our feet bc the floors we're disgustingly dirty that our feet were black. He told us the hotel was gonna charge us so much for this towel that it couldn't be washed and itd be better to pay him. We were late for the funeral so we didn't even think about it and gave him the pesos I had in my pocket. Requesting refund

Truly a great place to stay. So close to the border. Our process is always flawless and no issues as of yet. The beds are comfy, Air conditioning works good, quiet, safe. We always enjoy our stay with Real Inn. The unfortunate and inconvenient thing is that our room never comes with meals included!
