Unfortunately, we came after a storm. There was limited power. There was no hot water , little air, no one working at front hall desk because she had to clean a room for a guest. There was no hot breakfast but the sweet lady that hosted couldn’t help it. She served everything else but eggs and meat. There were no elevators operating but fortunately we were on the first floor. The only thing that was upsetting was the price. It was over $200 per night with all these issues. Not fun.

Love staying at this hotel. Always clean, great service and free breakfast. They added a new outside area with a fire pit. We stayed 3 nights and I enjoyed this area immensely.

This was a quick stay in the area to visit Babcock State Park, so needed nothing fancy. The room did have a stale smell when we walked in, not smoke but just not good smell. The carpet appeared to be dirty in some areas like not vacuumed but overall room was clean. The hotel was in a good area with other businesses around and convenient to the highway. The breakfast was decent enough and pretty standard for a free breakfast. Parking is on site and free.

The bathroom door could not close due to oversized bath vanity. No alternative was offered. Heater had one setting-very hot...did not stop at desired temperature. Floors were dirty...my dark socks were covered in white. Bfast waffle maker-broken. Showers were low flow and water was very soft, meaning longer rinsing time- where does this combo save on water? Should have gone to less expensive hotel for probably better experience. Feel ripped off.

This wasn’t as well kept as usual.just after checking in I was walking on the floor and realized I was standing on something so I looked down and there was a pill on the floor - so it was obvious that the whole floor had not been vacuumed. This was very disturbing.

Front desk staff (Amy) was friendly & efficient. The room was very clean but bed was not the most comfortable. Glad it was pet friendly as it was a stopping point on the way to and from our beach vacation. Breakfast was OK but better selection than some I have had. All the employees that I encountered were friendly which helped make the stay more enjoyable

Ours was a quick stay just to rest our heads before completing our trip. Wonderful staff, clean, great breakfast, updated decor... just all around great! My only complaint is you can hear hallway traffic through your room door. Oddly enough, you cant hear anything through the walls... just out in the hallways. Not sure if that is a style of door kind of thing or just the people staying there at that paricular time. Thankfully we are heavy sleepers so once we were asleep, there were no issues!

Room was cramped. Two people couldn't pass at end of the beds and we are thin. Said dogs welcom; never a mention by staff, marketing documents, or initial billing about a $25 per night pet fee. Be upfront about it. I ended up calling after our visit to determine what the charge was for.

Wish all hotels had rooms with shower only option. I would never use a tub in a hotel. I will always stay at the Hampton in Summersville when I’m in the area!

Our stay was ok. The room was pretty clean, although more run-down than any Hampton Inn we've seen. Makes me wonder if Hampton Inns are falling below their usual standards. We had booked a king room through expedia, but ended up in a room with two queens, as the front desk informed us they had no king rooms available. eh...

The room was great. The breakfast not really. The staff sat around gossiping and people came in for breakfast and things were running out or not there at all and finally someone said to them like there’s no eggs and suddenly they went back to work. Then they were in everyone’s way pushing the coffee cart thru the crowd and filling up stuff - it was unprofessional and everyone was annoyed. The bananas were black and one lady had to make 3 waffles before she got a decent one because the batter wasn’t properly prepared by staff. This recently reflected poorly on the hotel.

Always stay here. Very nice staff and plenty of places to shop or eat. Recommend eating at Alfredos for good italian dishes. Right on route 19 which is good. Only drawback was promised homemade choc chip cookies at 6 pm they never showed up. That’s ok
