Hotel is very dated. We booked because parking was listed as free on the website, only to be told upon arrival that’s a mistake and had to pay $20/night without in/out options. A nice location in downtown Milwaukee, with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Very convenient location to shows. We walked to the Fiserv Forum easily. Parking garage adjoining cost $20 for 24 hours. Breakfast had a waffle maker and a mini waffle maker. Pillows not the greatest but that would be my only thing to change.

Room was good, pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. When we called down for extra towels, we had to go down and get them ourselves so there must be a staffing issue. The pool was so heavily loaded with chemicals our kids couldn’t use it. Very disappointing. Plus we had to pay to park

Good location to many downtown elements of Milwaukee. But the property itself was underwhelming (two quick examples: 2 of 3 treadmills weren’t working and the door from the parking deck to the hotel malfunctioned at least twice during our stay). The room is basic and will meet your needs if you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night, but if you’re wanting to relax and enjoy the hotel experience, this might not be the hotel for you.

The room was clean, however, the carpet was stained, furniture was damaged, and the entire property was run down. The staff was friendly but we asked if the room would be cleaned and they responded with yes, however, it was never cleaned. We also requested fresh towels twice with no luck with either request. The breakfast was dismal at best with cold food and stale options. This property is in desperate need of a refresh. This was one of the cheapest options downtown, however if you plan on going downtown, I would recommend staying further out of town for cheaper and taking a rideshare into the downtown core or paying more for a nicer hotel. Parking was $15 one night and $20 the next night and is owned by the city but one of the garages is attached to the second level of the hotel.

The pool and hot tub need to be cleaned and have proper chemicals applied. It is cloudy and you can barely see the bottom. The HVAC was also not functioning during our stay. On the first night, it wouldn't get warmer than 68 despite being set at 80. On the second night, it wouldn't turn on at all. I mentioned it to the front desk and they sort of shrugged and said the rain the prior night might have damaged something. The breakfast had no fruit and the juices were very watered down.

Convenient location downtown. Plenty of parking around. Basic room, pillows were really uncomfortable to me so it was hard to sleep. Pool and hot tub were closed(one of the main reasons we were staying was to enjoy that) so that was kind of lame. Front desk agent was very polite and greeted us every time we left and came back. Would consider staying again if i bring my own pillow and the pool opens back up

Disgusting ass room. Period blood or poop under the sheet. Possibly blood on the curtain. Bullet hole in window. Used eating utensils behind bed. Possible public hair in drawer along with condom wrappers. Suspicious spots on TV. Has not been cleaned probably ever

Front desk clerks were as helpful as they could but overall the cleanliness of the property was very disappointing. Had to switch rooms the first night due to the room being dirty. Second room bed was clean, but there were condiment wrappers and clothing tags behind the tv stand. The refrigerator was running but not cold. Had to request an iron several times. I understand this building is old, but housekeeping needed to be a little more present.

Though the staff were nice, the property was so run down with crumbling tile, moldy broken windows, holes in chairs, dirty carpets...We did not feel comfortable to sit on the sofa. And the price for this was ridiculously high. Needs to be completely renovated.

The room was not clean when we arrived to our room: black hair in tub, hair on bathroom floor, the garbage had not been emptied, brown sticky residue on the TV remote, and food left in the fridge from previous patrons. The sheets are too small for the Queen sized bed- the fitted sheet showed half the mattress and came untucked during the night. Parking was supposed to be included when we booked it, then changed to $14 and upon arrival it was $20 a day.

The beds were not that comfortable and for being on the 8th floor, we had a not so great view out of our window of the fire escapes, electrical equipment and top of the parking lot. We felt a bit like we were in jail. Also, the pool area needed more chairs and a clock, so you knew how long you were in the pool. The breakfast was pretty good, typical hotel buffet fare. Attendant was friendly and attentive. Overall, not bad for the location and the price.

It was a fine place to stay for one night. Convenient to the theater district. The air conditioning was loud every time it turned on, though. We also did not get the type of room we booked, so one of the kids ended up sleeping on the floor. The comforter felt like a cheap polyester fabric.

The shower had no hot water. When I called the man told me to let it run for 15 minutes! I explained that I had as that was the length of my lukewarm shower. He reluctantly agreed to send someone up which he did not do. Was not concerned at all and seemed annoyed that I considered it a problem. My daughters live in Milwaukee so I visit frequently. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Staff was friendly. Room was very small, right next to the elevator facing the street. VERY outdated! Very noisy in the evening. Room had no dressers with drawers at all. Only 2 plugs on one side of the bed to use. 4 plugs in the bathroom? Safe was broken, breakfast with fair options of food and beverages. It was conveniently located to where we needed to be, but I would not stay there again.

The photos looked much better. The room was small and cramped. No amenities in the bathroom and the wifi was horrible. Needed to use for work and could never connect - had to use personal hotspot It is in a great area - can walk everywhere and easily. The rooms need to be upgraded.

Great location in the theater district of Milwaukee. The rooms are very basic but worked for what we needed although wish there were a few more outlets and all the lights weren't linked to the light switch. Really appreciated the breakfast in the morning - plenty of food and good. Staff very nice.

Felt truly welcome by the hotel staff. The hotel is quiet old and probably could need some smaller updates. But the nice welcoming, the safety and the large room was truly appreciated. Location great and the hotel truly fulfilled my purpose for a nice and friendly stay.

We traveled for the weekend from Alberta. Went to go college a university hockey game. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk. Waited and waited. After getting checked into our room the first thing to happen was the toilet was clogged. Tried calling the front desk from our room. No answer. Tried calling again. No answer. Made our way down to the front desk. Knowing to be found. After a few minutes of waiting, someone emerges from a locked room. Asked to have the toilet issue solved. Went out for the day. Came back to unfortunately having our toilet not fixed and no clean up service or Towles or fresh linen to be found.Tried calling the front desk again. No answer. Made the trek again to the front desk and demanded the toilet be fixed. Waited and waited. Eventually the toilet was fixed. I will never ever ever stay at this understaffed mediocre Hotel again.

check-in was delayed by over an hour because they didn’t have enough staff to clean the rooms. We had to wait until 5:30 to get into our room and were late for our dinner reservations. The hallway was filthy with dropped cracker crumbs and food which was never cleaned up the entire time we stayed. The room was a bit shabby, the furniture is old, mixed up decor, very loud AC and there were unsavory red stains on the carpet. We stayed two nights and never saw anyone come and clean or make up our room. The pool was so murky and over chlorinated that it was a little bit scary.

First attempt at getting to our room was stifled by the fact they gave us the wrong type of room. They then gave us a key to the correct type of room but the room was still occupied. Finally we were given our correct room only to find out that the AC was broken. They said they would fix it considering we were there for two nights and they didn’t even bother trying to fix it. House keeping didn’t come in between days for the beds or for new towels either.

This hotel is in a prime downtown location, with spacious suite rooms and includes breakfast. We had an easy walk to the Fiserv, 3rd ward, Marquette, and Summerfest. There is parking in a city garage for $20/night with direct access to the hotel, which is pretty reasonable for a downtown hotel.

Good location to the downtown area and easy to walk over to the Hopper public transportation to get to the 3rd District. The Hotel could use some updating and cleaner public areas. Other then that it was good and convenient.

Great place to stay in the middle of downtown Milwaukee. Staff was very friendly and engaging with the folks staying at the hotel. Checking in and out was easy and quick. The breakfast could have been a tad better, however I have had worse at other establishments. Overall I would stay here in the future and would recommend others stay here if they are in downtown Milwaukee.

We had a terrible stay at this hotel. We came down for breakfast and they ran out of food. We had to wait 15 minutes for more. There was only one working elevator; average wait time to go down was 5-8 minutes. We had a couple yelling and screaming in the room next door ( and they had dogs in their room barking).) We had the call the front desk twice to report it. Both times we were offered to move to another room, at 1:00 am. Someone from the front desk finally came up to tell them to stop. Our TV kept losing signal throughout our stay. When we asked for the manager, no one responded back to us. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and we always stay at Hampton Inns when we travel and we’ve always been satisfied.

This hotel is in a great location and the room size was good, but, probably the only good thing I can report. Our room looked directly into another buildings windows with a very close proximity so we could not open the blinds the entire time. No hot water, broken tv remote, unfriendly staff, old bedding, breakfast items were almost empty with an hour left of service both mornings. This place is in a great area, and has good potential - hoping they turn it around.
