Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Milwaukee Airport by IHG

A family of 2 parents had 13 children in pool and spa( which they were diving into) there is a sign stating that any child under 12 is not allowed in spa under any circumstance especially alone. The parents were dealing with the older children playing other things and not watching the children also all children were between 3 and maybe 8. At one point a very smal child jumped in without a vest and my husband had to grab him out from drowning. There wasn’t a parent that even noticed! We figured someone at the front desk was watching the cameras but that was not the case. No one from the hotel saw nor came down. I’m assuming this is not an issue they are concerned about since we stayed up until it was about to close thinking the large family would leave and we could sit comfortably for a few minutes alone. This was reported with a long breath from the front desk clerk and we were not offered or even apologized for them failing to watch the cameras or just being unconcerned like it was normal. So to also add this family we’re letting mor adults with more children through the back door which once again wasn’t seen on or watched the camera. Don’t be fooled it looks very lovely but it was anything but. When we got to our room after checking in the tv didn’t work so we had to with not help getting everything together and moved to a completely different floor. I wouldn’t give them even a 1 for the fact that the hotel was nothing it was said it would be. Choose wisely is all I say..

Had to wait 15min to check in no one was at the front desk. Pool and hot tub closed. Lobby was filthy and room was rather disheveled. Kids running down the hallway all hours of the night. Very dissatisfied stay.

Hotel was nice and staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Shuttle to the airport was easy to set up and instructions were clear. However, getting back to the hotel was more difficult because we were not provided a number to call once we landed. We called the hotel’s front desk and they gave us the number of the shuttle driver. We called 3x and nobody answered. We called the hotel back and the receptionist said she would get in touch with the driver for us. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for the shuttle back to the hotel which wasn’t bad, but I feel if a number for the shuttle was provided, this process would have been easier.

Quick check in, great service. Room was fantastic and even was able to enjoy the hot tub! We stayed here due to us have a very early flight the next morning. The airport shuttle was quick to.

The bathroom had water damage in the bathroom as there is no ventilation. The pool and hot tub area had peeling paint. I came back to the hotel around 10 and there was no parking on Saturday 7/24 and the person at the desk shrugged it off. I ended up parking at the Econolodge next door which was inconvenient as my son and I were driving back home early the next morning. Bedroom could use a fresh coat of paint and the bed was uncomfortable to sleep in.

I came for the 120th celebration. For the price of the room, one would think the elevator would at least be working. Instead, we were put on the 3rd floor and it was very unhandy trying to lug everything up 3 flights of stairs. In my opinion, a credit of some sort should have been given for the inconvenience we endured.

When I got into the room. It was clean expect for the bathroom. The bathroom had hairs on the floor and there was several hairs in the shower and a dead spider. Jennifer was great at the front desk. She got me signed up to earn points, she was very kind and had toothpast

Customer service was amazing. Not sure if his name was Jon, but he was awesome at check in. The breakfast area was spotless!!! I couldn’t get over it. Would highly recommend the hotel to family and friends. Thank you!

The front desk staff was nice. Claudia in the breakfast area was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only issue we had was our room key kept on deactivating and had to replace them 4 times during our stay. The young lady working in the evening made sure we had a working key when we returned, so that we wouldn’t have to come back down stairs, which we appreciated. Everything looked and felt clean. The beds were comfy.

Average holiday inn. Room was decent, could use a good scrubbing. Walls were peeling/crumbling near shower.

Decent for a night, it’s clean but the room had a musty feel and carpet felt tacky.

The couch had cigarette burns on it and when we pulled the bed out there was a dirty sheet with trash inside the couch. The door handle to the room was broken and had to turn it a certain way to get it to open.

The bathroom was dirty, curtains were dirty, staff kept saying they’d bring stuff up to the room for us and didn’t

The shower had already had hair in it along the floor and the walls. Our room took a while to get warm so I’d recommend warming your room up at least an hour before heading the the pool. The pool didn’t really seem clean, the water wasn’t clear and there was so many little things floating inside the pool it made us a bit uncomfortable to even get in but that was the whole reason we even booked the hotel. Other than that we didn’t have issues with anything else and the front desk staff was very friendly

No fan in the bathroom and mold is growing next to the shower.

The door lock was broken and the bottom of the door was half torn off. There was tub molding repair work done and left unfinished. The room needed a good sanitizing.

Loved the cinnamon rolls and fresh ground coffee! Beds were comfortable and we slept great. Would stay again.

It was clean and staff was friendly but there was no AC in the room so none of us were able to sleep at all that night. There were other rooms with AC available so not sure why staff placed us in the room that did not have functioning AC when the situation could have been avoided.

When we got here and checked in, Courtney was helpful. However, our second day the AC was not working in our room and it was very hot and made it difficult to sleep. We also had difficulties with our room keys and had to go down to have them relinked to our rooms.

Room was good but loud

Air conditioner was broken and it was almost 90 degrees outside. One of the beds was broken. Pool was not clean.

No Netflix, poor internet

We stayed here for two nights. It was just okay! The mattress was uncomfortable and made a lot of squeaky noises which made the sleep very hard. The customer service was amazing at check in. Roberto was absolutely friendly and provided great customer service. The check in process was quick and we were in our room with in 10 minutes. The other downside were the kids running on the second floor. I could hear it through the ceiling and that occurred both nights and lasted late into the evening.

Door was busted and bolted together with flat metal stripps, hinge bent. Bathroom not that clean. Other visitor's were loud all night long, not good when ypur working 12+ hours days then camt sleep because of the loudness.

The suites are really nice. The pool side rooms are smaller but updated. The pool side rooms are quiet! Thought it might be noisy but it wasn’t

The staff was wonderful and friendly. I told them about a few things that weren't good in my room and they were fixed the same day. The breakfast was good and there was always enough. I definitely recommend this location. Enjoy

My stay was great. What really set the tone was the friendliness of the staff at check-in. I believe the gentleman‘s name that checked me in was ROBERT and I really appreciate how welcome we felt.

The staff here need to definitely work on their communication skills. Overall I don’t have a problem until the end of my trip and the General Manager is very rude and unprofessional I won’t be returning back!

~80 in Charges not disclosed in writing/verbally from my first stay. Second stay Had late check out for noon but had door banged on four times between 8:30 and 11 despite telling them each time I was trying to sleep. Employee yelled at me to check out.

Once we arrived to our room it was tagged as not ready and a quick peek inside let us know that no cleaning had been done. This was two hours after check-in began. We waited a bit and then went back to the front desk to inquire. They were super accommodating and quickly moved us to a new room, offering free grocery from their small store. So kind and so professional. In a season where everyone is short staffed, we were understanding and thankful for such a generous response.

All of the clerks at the desk were helpful. Roberto was especially helpful in assisting us with some reservations and area sights.

Hotel was in a not great area and a lot of people standing outside. We felt unsafe.

This hotel was fine for folks needing a night before, or after, flying. The pool area was an excellent amenity. The breakfast was very nice. It would have been nice if the property had a full service restaurant. It was a fairly long walk to any restaurants.

Welcoming staff. Rooms with everything working as expected. Close to Milwaukee, the airport, and the south suburbs.

Quiet inside but in a sketchy part of town. I wouldn’t recommend going out after dark unless you use the hotel provided transportation (which was very good)

This hotel was certainly not exceptional but it was alright for an airport hotel. It would have been nice if it had dining options..

Honestly I wasn’t expecting much at such a low price; everything far exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a large selection (I don’t think I had any hot food but the pastries, cereal, yogurt and coffee was fantastic). Thanks for a relaxing stay!

ROBERTO at the front desk was amazing! The property was clean, breakfast was hot and the noise level throughout was pleasant. I was surprised they had egg white veggie omelettes and turkey sausage for us who care about this kinda stuff lol

The hotel smelled of marijuana, breakfast was not good, biscuits were hard, omelets cold, waffle/pancake machine broken, room was dirty, and the bed was hard as a rock. Staff closed the pool early on the weekend. Kids running up and down the halls, music blaring on the first floor, and boys constantly knocking on my door. This hotel chain is typically better than this experience.
