This was a last minute decision to book here. Within in a few minutes of booking, we received the information on how to check into our room. The room was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay after visiting three National Parks in one day. We grabbed coffee from a food truck that was in the parking lot the next morning.

The room provides what is necessary...beds, bathroom, temp control, locking door, fridge and microwave. No frills, but what you need. Clean. Basic contact with property through text messages. Price was acceptable for what you get. Did not find ice or vending machines, but convenience store is across the street.

When you walk to the front door you have a moment of panic by the way the entrance looks. Door needs painting entryway rugs need vacuuming ceiling light needs to be replaced. The whole building definitely needs updating. However when we got to our room it had clean sheets comfy bed and clean towels. The sink toilet, desk,fridge,microwave were all clean. There’s plenty of hot water. I did have to convince my husband to get into the shower it has yellow and black mold in the corners of the shower door and doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a while. That said the price was amazing it’s just out of the busy downtown but close to everything. Lots of places to eat. Lots of jeep tours canyon rafting ATV and UTV just down the street. It’s in the perfect place. We had booked 5 days but ended up booking another 6 days so we had time to see Arches Nat Park (2 miles down the street)and Canyonlands (25 minutes away) So it wasn’t gross enough in the shower to keep us from staying longer. We needed clean towels and TP when we extended our stay so I texted the owner and got a return text within a half hour. And towels and tp right away. There’s a washer and dryer around the front of the building to do your laundry, its cramped but clean. Book some UTV time with Eric at High Point hummer and ATV he’s amazing. I would stay here again just hope someone has scrubbed that shower. A coffee breakfast truck in the same parking lot.Theres plenty of places to have fun at night 1/2 mile downtown

Zunächst das Positive: Das Zimmer war äussert geräumig und wie es scheint, wurde es kürzlich zumindest teilweise renoviert. Auch das Bad scheint erst kürzlich renoviert wurden zu sein. Erfreulich war auch, dass das Zimmer keinen Teppichboden hatte. Für Moab relativ günstige Übernachtungspreise. Negativ: Auf den ersten Blick schien alles sauber zu sein. Auf den zweiten Blick waren jedoch tote Kakerlaken zu finden. Zu diesen gesellten sich am zweiten Abend noch mindestens 2 lebendige Exemplare, was ich als äussert unangenehm empfand! Da es sich um ein älteres Gebäude handelt, gibt es überall Ritzen, wo die Tiere hindurch schlüpfen können. Da müsste eindeutig mal etwas dagegen unternommen werden. Auch war es teilweise ziemlich laut. Zu einen wegen der Stasse und zum anderen vermutlich wegen der Klimaanlage des Nachbarzimmers. Weiters scheint für diese Unterkunft der Service am Gast nicht wirklich im Vordergrund zu stehen. Um den Zutrittscode zum Zimmer zu erhalten, muss der Gast selbst aktiv werden und sich melden. Es gibt mittlerweile einige Unterkünfte ohne bzw. mit einer nur teilweise besezten Rezeption und diese stellen einem die nötigen Infos vor der Ankunft zur Verfügung. Immerhin wurde auf die Anfrage sehr schnell geantwortet. Während meines Aufenthaltes habe ich nie eine/n Mitarbeiter/in zu Gesicht bekommen. Bei einem allfälligen nächsten Besuch in Moab greife ich lieber ein wenig tiefer in die Tasche und habe dafür keine ungebetenen Gäste in meinem Zimmer.

I relied on the 8/10 rating for cleanliness and did not experience that. Shower was really dirty…hair…gross. Sheets paper thin and no mattress pad. Bedspread had stains and a big hole. Would not stay here again.

I have slept in 50+ motels in the US so far and this one was the biggest disappointment. Checked in at 9pm, everything went smooth until we saw, that the bed was fully covered in human (pubic?) hair and dog hair and had several brown stains. Called the manager Zach and reached him after 15 mins. He organized somebody who then changed the sheets for us after additional 40 mins. The shower was also in a very bad shape and on the next morning we discovered, that the whole ground was covered with white dog hairs. We did not feel comfortable at all and would not recommend this locations, especially for guests with allergies. Seems like they do not differ between pet friendly rooms and regular rooms.

Das Zimmer Zimmer war gut und die Einrichtung auch ok. In den Betten konnte man gut schlafen. Das Bad war zwar auch vor nicht alt so langer Zeit gemalert worden aber die Duschtür benötigt mal eine Überholung, das alte Silikon weg und neues sauberes rauf. Es ist nicht schön wenn die Ecken und Kanten schwarz sind. Der seltsame Spiegelschrank könnte auch weg und durch was ansprechenderes ersetzt werden. Es gibt keinen Zimmerservice, den Mülleimer muss man alleine leeren und auf dem Flur lag nach 3Tagen immer noch der Sand. Die Besitzer könnten mit wenig Mittel die Anlage ansehnlicher gestalten. Aber muss ja jeder selber wissen. Seltsamer Weise wurden mir 11.99$ mehr abgebucht als mein gebuchter Preis von Epedia war. Wir würden dort nicht mehr buchen, obwohl das Zimmet gar nicht so schlecht war.

It is in a convenient location, but the place needs serious renovation and cleaning. I spilled water on the bathroom floor used a towel to wipe it up, the towel was muddy brown. Needless to say I did not shower there.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is good for a no frills type of stay, which is exactly what you want since you will be out exploring all day.. the room was extremely clean and comfortable, bathroom seemed to have unlimited hot water for showers

Tiny room and bathroom. Sheet vinyl floor. Medicine cabinet from 1972. Formica vanity. Toilet has a slow leak and has to refill. Property outside is unkept. Pile of old leaves from last Fall clustered under the outdoor table etc. But you get what you pay for. If you just want cheap sleep, it works.

This is an adequate and overall cleanly motel, but no more than that. The building itself looks like it was put together from mobile homes, the interior is somewhat bleak, there was no manager on site (the entry code for the room was texted by the manager), the rooms themselves are quite small - considerably more so than the photos would suggest, and there was no breakfast (but there are places to eat and buy groceries nearby.) OK in a limited way for an overnight stay. Is cramped enough that it could be a challenge staying there with small children, especially in bad weather.

This just had a weird vibe to it, although it wasn't bad once I got into the room. Two broken down cars out front being repaired, a reception desk with no sign of any staff (but they were friendly and helpful once I got them on the phone), a motorbike above the front door, a faint smell (maybe cigarette smoke?) in the hallway but all OK inside the room. The floor is lino (fake wood panelling) not carpet, and wasn't the cleanest. There's plenty of space, with sort of a walk-in closet for storing clothes. The place generally feels friendly but a little bit run down. I had a scary moment being trapped in the bathroom with a malfunctioning door handle, and had to kick the door quite hard to get it open. When I reported it to the manager, he was very apologetic and promised to get it fixed right away, so hopefully it's all good by the time you're reading this. The location is good, at the south end of town, a bit quieter than the centre but still convenient for shops and cafes. There are complimentary copies of the "Moab Happenings" newspaper in the foyer. Pick one up: there's more happening in Moab than I expected!

This place was a fine cheap stay close to Arches. Decor was from a few decades ago but rooms were clean. No one working at front desk so you had to call/text which was inconvenient. Fine option considering you get what you pay for.

The beds were really saggy, the furniture for sure had seen better days. The bathroom is old, very small and thin towels. There is no reception but somebody is reachable via txt. Initially they had only provided 2 shower towels and 1 hand towel, no bath mat or wash cloths. When we asked for more it was given to us the next day (we stayed for 2 nights). The property is old and outdated. The doors don't lock automatically when you close them behind you. We once had a stranger wander into our room in the middle of the night because we forgot to lock the door. Check-in was pretty easy although there is noone on site.

No one here when we arrived (office closed) Note on door to call someone to give a pass code to room door. Maid on staff could not help us open door and after waiting for her to call a manager to come from her home to motel, eventually got us another (less desirable) room.

The check-in via text was extremely easy and efficient. It was so great not to have to worry about a room key or card, and the code was easy to remember. So that was great. What was NOT great was that the room wasn't cleaned--we stayed 3 nights and had no clean sheets or towels. When I texted about this after the 2nd night I was told that room cleaning wasn't included in the price and that it would be $20/night extra! And there was a little "housekeeping tips" box on the nightstand. So we were supposed to pay extra and also tip? I think not. (They have "clean rooms" on their sign, which is a bit misleading.) Also, there was an unlocked door to the outside at the end of our hall, which I didn't discover until our 3rd night. It was propped open, so I closed it, but there didn't seem to be any way to lock it. ALSO, there were no coffee cups or water cups provided, but there were ceramic mugs on sale for $5. I used one, washed it out, and hung it back on the display rack.

I love this little hotel. I had stayed there before and booked it on purpose my second time. However now it is ran more like an AirBNB than a hotel. Easy check in - they send you a text with your door code and you’re in. The beds are super comfortable and the room is clean. The property is older and it shows but it’s still clean and comfortable. The sheets, towels, and pillows could use some updating but they’re not bad. The only issue we had was there were no towels in the room when we arrived but they quickly fixed that and brought us towels. I will say it’s a little pricy for the services offered but I still really enjoyed it.

Poor communication -- I didn't receive information for check-in and when I arrived around 9 pm the office was closed. When I called, the person that worked there let me know check-in is by a code sent via text message but I didn't receive any messages and I didn't receive anything after informing them of this either. I was surprised they don't send important information like that in an email. When I finally got into the room, there were moths flying aorund which was an unwelcome sight. The only redeeming feature of this place is that their showers have great water pressure.

I was very impressed with the service Zach, the property manager, provided from offsite. He was very responsive to our needs and had a good attitude. Per our request, he moved us to a room on the backside of the building so that the road noise would not be as loud. That helped! The first room did have much more space. The room with two double beds did not have sufficient space for eating at the table pushed in a corner. That turned out to be a big challenge since we had that room 3 days. I would have felt more comfortable security-wise if there had been a staff member on-site because the doors were left open. I am accustomed to there being a gatekeeper of sorts at the entrance to an inn. Perhaps a pad like what is used to enter or lock your room could be put on the exterior doors with a code, linked to your bedroom code, could be used to gain access into the building. Just a thought … Overall, we had a positive experience at the Silver Sage Inn. The price made staying in Moab 4 nights possible. Zach, thank you for all your help!!!

They offered no cleaning, was there three days. Only spoke to owner in the phone, I never saw any staff or cleaning people. I only had 2 towels and I roll of toilet paper. Didn’t offer Dnd door tags, apparently they don’t need to bc there is no staff??? The owner was very nice and said to call id I needed anything, not sure that’s the best way to run a motel?? Keeps his costs down, I still paid $93 plus tax, next time I’ll spend a little more!!

This was a last minute decision to book here. Within in a few minutes of booking, we received the information on how to check into our room. The room was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay after visiting three National Parks in one day. We grabbed coffee from a food truck that was in the parking lot the next morning.

This is an adequate and overall cleanly motel, but no more than that. The building itself looks like it was put together from mobile homes, the interior is somewhat bleak, there was no manager on site (the entry code for the room was texted by the manager), the rooms themselves are quite small - considerably more so than the photos would suggest, and there was no breakfast (but there are places to eat and buy groceries nearby.) OK in a limited way for an overnight stay. Is cramped enough that it could be a challenge staying there with small children, especially in bad weather.

This place was a fine cheap stay close to Arches. Decor was from a few decades ago but rooms were clean. No one working at front desk so you had to call/text which was inconvenient. Fine option considering you get what you pay for.
