Uncertain as to why we had a 'ghost charge' of $6.50. If it was for water, I felt sure the sign in the room said two waters were free. All others were $3 I believe. Not clear. Parking $20? REally? Why? Seemed like a true cash grab. The room was terrific and no complaints there at all.

The front desk staff were not particularly welcoming. They were very matter of fact in their directions. The hotel charges a high parking fee for being in a part of town that has plenty of parking. The hotel carpet is dirty. The corridors smell like marijuana. One large towel was provided for a double queen room reservation. The Double Tree should improve the character of the hotel. On the bright side, the welcome cookies were very good.
