Edgewater Hotel and Conference Center

Good hotel, great location!

Best location ever. Delicious hot breakfast. Nice and clean room. Staff very friendly. Only complaint I have is the amount charged for parking which I wasn’t aware of until time to go. This information was not included on the description or pricing. I’ve gone to Gatlinburg for 40+ years and this is the first time I’ve been charged for parking at an establishment I was staying at.

This hotel is a hidden gym in my humble opinion. It would fall under the category of outdated for some, but that just added to the charm for me. I will start with my only negative critique, the parking was absolutely atrocious. It was ample, but tight. But once we got parked and made our way in we were greeted by the most delightful clerk, I only wish I could remember her name. Very friendly and she had a mini Jesus on her computer which prompted a great convo and I went to my car and provided her with one of every color. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The ac worked great! The view was wonderful. Literally everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was standard but filling. The wonderful lady attending to breakfast was an absolute delight. All of the wonderful women working here were absolutely delightful. Real mountain charm! They made my anniversary trip special just by being friendly. I wish I could give them all 10 star ratings. In a world where customer service is falling to the wayside these charming ladies more than made up for it. They, more than anything else, set the tone for a wonderful hotel and getaway!

Room was clean. Bathroom had rusty features and no exhaust fan. Breakfast was good. Location was wonderful. Pool was awesome.

I'm pretty sure I got bed bugs from this hotel. I haven't stayed anywhere else since. The location was great, although I thought paying $20 a night to park in the garage was a little excessive. You could walk pretty much anywhere in Gatlinburg, which is really the only good thing about the place.The other guests on our floor were very loud, all hours of the night.There's a haunted house next door, with tons of screaming & chainsaw noises that were a little hard to get used to & the hot tubs were nasty. The breakfast was not good. We only tried to eat it the first morning. I would not stay there again.
