Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Chattanooga-Lookout Mountain

We enjoyed our stay here. They have lots of breakfast options. The elevator is quite slow would be our only complaint.

Indoor pool is great. Only one lamp in bedroom

Great continental hot breakfast for our hungry group of ten. Pool was clean and fun for all the teenagers, front desk lady friendly and helpful.

Pool says heated but was cold windows were dirty between pool and exercise room with several cracked glass panels

Property is older and evidence of rundown in places. That is to be expected with an older property and at the price point. However, there was a half eaten pastry under the chair upon our arrival to our room along with a sticky area from a spill on the floor. Staff changed us to a clean room when we reported the issues. However, the ice machine and the fitness room were out of order during the stay. Great location for getting to Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls. For the price point, it was fine but cleanliness could have been better.

Room was incredibly noisy both from the road and the fan circulating the air. Friendly staff, especially the man overseeing the breakfast. Lounge area in the suite was very dark and only a single armchair faced the TV. Well located for visiting Ruby Falls and Rock City. Very close to Cracker Barrel and Waffle House. Plenty of parking and there were trolleys available to take your luggage to your room.

Mold in multiple parts of bathroom, multiple spiders, a leaf bug, a giant centipede. Key cards had to be replaced nearly every time we tried to get back into the room.

Our room was clean & everything was in working order. Check in was easy. The pool was freezing cold. The front desk woman said they keep the temp at what the health department requires. I dont know what that temp is but it isnt warm at all. But even if it was warm, we wouldnt have got in. It was so cloudy, you couldnt see through the water. BUT other than the pool, everything was fine. Parking is easy. A few dining options close by. Cracker Barrel is right next door. And the free breakfast they serve was good. Lots of options from fresh fruit, making a waffle & hot items like bacon & eggs. Overall, I would stay here again & I'm super picky when it comes to where I sleep. Lol Oh & we were in the room that says it sleeps 5 people. It had 2 queen size beds & a small living room area that had a couch that pulled out to a bed.

Pros- - great location! Cracker Barrel and Waffle House are next door! - bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Cons- - black mold in shower (easily wiped away, by ME) and rusted brackets. - No housekeeping, even when requested. They just drop off soap and towels. - Very thin walls. We knew our neighbors names and sang happy birthday with them thru the wall. - the cozy amenities pictured, such as fireplace and fire pit, we’re never lit for the 4 nights we were there. - the doorknob to the pool broke off once you entered. You could go in but not go out. The hotel has great potential. It just needs a lot of TLC.

Nice they are doing some painting and maintenance, the pool needs upgrades. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful.

DIRTY. the room was filthy. Floors covered in dirt and grime, dust everywhere, hair in the bathroom from the previous guest, musty, outlets hanging out of the walls, shower was broken and moldy, paint chipped all over, key card just stopped working, bedsheets were inside out, hair on the pillows, and burnout light bulbs. the only positive was the breakfast

The bathtub was not thoroughly cleaned. There was multiple strands of hair from the previous guest stuck to the wall. The elevator was sketchy. No remote control for the TV in the room. Surfaces weren’t thoroughly cleaned.

BED BUG INFESTATION- My stay had been decent the first night, we arrived late and I checked the room immediately in spots they would be hiding. Didn’t see any in there normals spots and assumed the room was good My daughter woke up the next day complaining she felt like she was bit and I examined again I noticed old shells but no activity. After a long day in town we went back again to the hotel and planned dinner and I tore the beds apart because I saw the casings of old dead bed bugs, one diving in I saw bed bug sizes that are fully grown in which take months of growing. Went down to the office to get the help I needed and I was instructed that due to the GM not being on property I would have to stay In my room and pretty much deal with it. Didn’t do an investigation didn’t offer my family a solution for a stay somewhere else. No offer to clean our clothing or at the least a medical evaluation for the bites my daughter had received. I was told GM would call at 3am but didn’t I had me and my family sleep in our car for 2 hour to ensure we would get our money back for the stay as they didn’t seem to care at. The worker didn’t seem to care and spoke poorly about their cleaners stating “ yea our cleaners suck” & “yea we’ve have to get rid of the bed bugs before but never could get rid of them”. SO YOU KNEW AND STILL HOUSED ME ? If corporate doesn’t reach out I’ll have field day in reviews with about 3000k people

Hotels.com we’re great at trying to find a resolution for us , but the hotel it’s self had BED BUGS and refused to do much as give an apology . I have contacted the health department with hopes no one has to experience what my family and I had to experience !

Found roaches in our room. Beds made us itch, and the bathroom was dirty. Made a complaint to the front desk and we left in the middle of the night. I am still waiting to hear from the GM! No refund, nothing!!!

Shower had mold

Ewwww stay away. Visible filth was caked everywhere. The floors were sticky everywhere. There was hair on dirt everywhere. Just gross. Stay elsewhere.

Staff was super nice, but the floors in our room were nasty! Wads of hair laying in the bathroom floor, & around the commode was dirty. There were spots all over the floor where something had spilled & was never mopped. Did not walk around without shoes. I did not report it to staff because it was late when we checked in & we just needed to sleep. Only there 8-9 hours.

The room was very spacious which was very nice but there were no bedside lamps so the room was very dark. The beds were very old and uncomfortable (springs poking) and the neighbors were super loud slamming doors from 4-5am so we couldn’t sleep. Location was nice and front desk clerk was a pleasure.

It was close to Chattanooga, Chickamauga National Battlefield and also to Cloudland Canyon State Park. The only issues were that our room# 316 was across from the elevator so you could hear people coming and going AND the spotlight for the front of the build was shining directly into our room. The blackout curtains worked but the halo of light around the edges was bright. We would definitely stay there again- just ask for another room.

PERFECTION! Friendly and professional check in. The room was impeccable. The bed was comfortable and i was able to rest well.

Our suite was nothing like the pictures - tint refrigerator - More like a regular hotel room. Beds were comfortable. Floors were big improvement over carpet. Seems cleaner. Bathrooms show heavy wear.

Spacious room. There was no air conditioning available to the living area where my son slept when we closed the bedroom door, which I thought was odd. The wall thermostat didn’t work

An older hotel but pretty nice overall.

Unfortunately, the mattress was uncomfortable causing my wife and I both to awaken multiple times during the night.

The bed and pillows were uncomfortable there was an outside spot light shinning in our room all night it was lite up like a football field. We closed the curtains but the outside light was so bright it lite up the whole room

Easy check in and great desk clerk, Austin. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Quick walk to Cracker Barrel for supper. Adequate breakfast, but some bacon would have been nice. Only issue was with cleaning. Specifically the bathroom was not clean. Dirt on floor, hairs in the shower and sink, dirt on the shower curtain, and mold on the shower wall around the safety holds, all of which was pretty disgusting. This was the only negative in an otherwise pleasant visit.

Awful! Sonya at desk said we had no reservation amd that they did not honor hotels.com ones. She was rude and not helpful as we arrived at 10:30 PM after driving 15 hours. She was even rude to the hotels.com rep we phoned. Might have been a nice place, but couldn’t get passed Sonya who was absolutely terrible.

Dirty, did not feel safe. Another guest advised me not to park in a certain area due to shady activity. I asked the front desk person about this and she was rude and defensive. It was late, we were tired so we took a chance everything worked out fine, but the room was very dirty. Hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned not terribly comfortable and just unkept. You have a lot of choices in this area and not much of a price difference. Stay somewhere else.

Everything was 10/10 ! Check in was quick and easy , and the clerk was very friendly! Nice rooms, lots of space !

My family had a wonderful experience staying at Country Inn & Suites..there was 7 of us..Chloe was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating!!😊

The person at the front desk was so kind and had made homemade cookies for the lobby. They upgraded our room at no additional cost. Room was large and comfortable. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in.

My check in went really smoothly with Austin. He’s was very kind. The room was absolutely amazing! And my check out was just as good with Garrett (I think that was his name).

I have never left a negative review on a hotel stay. This hotel was terrible. The guy who checked me in had no idea what he was doing. He charged my two credit cards 3 times. They were approved on the credit card machine but he stated it was declined on his end. After the back and forth the card was approved. He gave me my room key and I went to my room. I opened the door and the desk chair was torn up. There was a red recliner that was stained and the windows were filthy and had a wasp nest in side the window. I went down and asked for a different room. I was given a new room. It was a little better than the first one. The bathroom had mold in the shower and on the ceiling. There was trash in the hallways and all over the outside of the building. I would never stay here again.

Don’t believe any reviews, there’s no Mountain view. Good enough for a night when passing through but not close to downtown, or anything really.

Easy off and on interstate!

Maid Service Staff were very loud! Talking loud non-stop and had radio or cellphone On speaker very loud early in the mornings. Knocking on every single door and announcing maid Services very loud. They were Very loud in the adjoining room next door as they were cleaning. The breakfasts were terrible in quantity and quality. They ran out of multiple food selections everyday and they could not keep the coffee containers filled. The food trays for the eggs had an inch of water on the bottom; the eggs were sitting in the water and you had to Drain the water from the eggs. The biscuits were like cardboard. Limited number and selection on pastries. Very unorganized and lack of planning for the next day. Kept running out of milk too. Room door card had to be reprogrammed several times. The Suite Room was poorly designed; bedroom area had the AC unit and was comfortable, but the main Sitting area was hot. The bed was not comfortable and the chair in the sitting area needed to be thrown into the garbage.

Kind of a above avg breakfast and staff. Unfortunately no smart TV's.

Highway noise was pretty bad at night. Good breakfast.

The desk attendant at check-in was very nice. The lobby was clean. We had a one bedroom suite that was nice but of the two rooms in foyer, there was only one picture on the wall. It made it feel somewhat like an institution. All in all it was a nice place to stay. I would probably stay again. The breakfast area was very clean. The breakfast options were great.

It was a ok hotel . The breakfast was horrible. I call it fake food , everything taste like cardboard. No eggs .

Everything was good and our room was clean, some of the furniture could use a refresh and the breakfast left much to be desired (out of orange juice and coffee) but overall good deal for the price.
