The place is going through renovations but we had no idea when we booked. It would be nice if hotels were required to disclose this information. Instead, we didn’t find out until we arrived for check-in and then it’s too late to cancel or we lose $$$. Walking in, there are workers on their hands and knees, others painting or staining and the fumes were noxious! When this was mentioned to the front desk, we were told “that’s why you got a great rate”. Seriously? We could have booked the Marriott Downtown for only $30 more which we would have done if they had disclosed their renovations. That said, the mattress was incredible! Probably the best we’ve ever slept on away from home! Better than those in upscale hotels/resorts we’ve visited. 5 stars for that! Bathroom was small. You have to go all the way in and maneuver yourself in order to shut the door. We stayed over Easter weekend so hopefully they will be finished before summer travel. My advice before booking is to call the hotel directly and ask them straight out if renovations are completed!

I liked having a fence around the property to help keep our vehicles secure. The breakfast was good, hotel was clean and smelled good. Pool water was sparkly and clean and well maintained around the pool although there were only 4 lounge chairs. It is a quiet hotel convenient to I-24, Broad, and Market but not activities. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights.. Place is dated but it was fine for what we needed. Only major complaint was breakfast was TERRIBLE! Burnt and dry both days.. Grab and go was decent.. Treadmill did not work and water pressure was bad..

The young man that checked us in was awesome! Welcoming and professional. Unfortunately the room was not clean. There was hair, tons of it, in the tub and the toilet. The sink and mirror were dirty too. The bath mat was not fresh. I went to the lobby but they were low on options. I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom myself. The next morning I spoke with a manager. She was rude and disinterested. I was appalled by her attitude the two times I had to talk to her. On day 2, I noticed drops of blood across the carpet. Carpet is darker so I missed it initially. The breakfast was good. The gym was rough. No cleaning supplies and it was not cleaned in the 3 days that I used it! The beds were comfortable.

The hotel was serviceable, and for the price, you get what you pay for. It was advertised as having a pool and hot tub which was required for our trip. The pool was closed and there is no hot tub. I wouldn’t book again. Hotels.com did nothing but tell me they don’t run the hotel…obviously. I won’t use the booking site again either. They don’t care about making sure their listings are accurate.

After a long day’s travel, was looking forward to using the pool and spa. Upon check in, there was a note posted that the facilities were banned from use. Terribly disappointing! The elevator was dirty and operated haphazardly.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at Comfort Inn, Chattanooga. It was the best stay we have had over the last 2or 3 years. The hotel, from the front door to our room, was immaculate. A pet peeve of mine is how the hallway carpeting looks, telling me a lot about their cleaning habits. The carpeting was in excellent condition, bright and cheerful. The staff was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice. Our room was awesome. If I rated it one to ten, I would give it an eleven.

We checked in and clerk was great. Got keys to room, got to room and unloaded luggage. Checked out the room and found a box of half eaten wings, empty drink bottle, cup on nightstand that was sticky, and a credit card. Went to the front desk and showed pictures to the clerk. She did apologize. She moved us into another room. The clerk was very professional and apologetic.

The whole inside smelled like cigarette smoke. There was hair in the shower, our toilet seat was broken, there was hair in the bed that appeared to belong to a dog. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of options and the staff made sure everything stayed clean and stocked. The front desk was friendly and efficient.

Very clean, quiet area, and very comfortable bed. The A/C wasn't as cold as we would have liked, but it was a hot day. The hair dryer in the room didn't work which we didn't discover until just before checking out. We stayed in the King Suite which was a good size for the three of us.

Pros: right by the interstate. Clean. Breakfast was typical to be included in price. Beds were comfortable. Cons: water temp was off - not hot enough. Tub leaked. Temp in the room was off - hot during the night. Lots of outside noise.

The bathrooms are pretty dated which would be fine except it was a little grungy. The shower “curtain” did very little to keep water in the tub and turned the whole bathroom into a slip n slide and the rooms are not allotted enough towels to combat that. The shower head has two pressure settings: stabby and spit on me uwu. The AC unit is a joke. It was 85 in our room at midnight and that was the coolest it got. I will say however, the staff was fantastic. They were definitely the best quality of the stay. The front desk lady was amazingly kind and attentive and the breakfast never ran out of items until breakfast had finished. If you’re looking for a quick cheap place to sleep in a decent neighborhood it’s fine.

10/19/2024 Booked ahead of time and called and confirmed reservation with ease the day of check in. We arrived at the hotel a few hours later, and the lady at the front desk said she saw no reservation for us. She let me stay on the phone with Expedia for 15 minutes on hold before she finally said, "well I guess I can call my manager". She stays on the phone with the manager around 5 minutes before admitting she gave our room to another guest. She did not seem to be fit for her job. I understand accidents happen, but the way it was handled was awful.

The hotel was ok... The rooms were not clean. There was an old chicken nugget under the desk when we checked in. We were gone all day one day and the room did not get attended to. Not even the trash taken out. When I went to the front desk to ask if our room could be cleaned around 3pm, the staff at the desk said "We don't do that." I asked her to clarify and she said they don't clean the room for short stays. That would have been understandable if the check-in staff would have given us the understanding that the rooms would not be cleaned. The lady at the front desk was not pleasant at all. Anytime we had to go to the desk for clean towels she talked to us from behind the wall. Not even coming up to the desk to greet us. Not professional in how she carried herself. Not welcoming at all. I would not stay here again.

Front desk staff at check in is nice. Breakfast guy is awful and rude. He closes by 830 and hours are till 9. If you ask him a question he will yell at you. Had front desk lady pounding on my door at almost 10pm to tell me to lock my door. She just kept pounding louder and yelling front desk louder and louder. I had spent almost 2 hours rocking my baby to sleep. She woke him up. Pool is okay, just kinda dirty from being outside. The area is pretty bad, but where the hotel sits there’s nothing around so had no issues. I wouldn’t chose to stay here again due to the breakfast staff.

The hotel was extremely clean The front desk staff was always nice The breakfast was extremely lacking, and the man in charge was extremely rude. He really put a damper on our stay. He would start taking everything away and turning it off 30 minutes before it ended and when you asked he would yell at you that you need to come earlier. My 3 year old autistic son needed a cup, and unknowingly grabbed a cup of hot coffee which spilled all over him. The man’s response was to shake his head and hands in anger. If it wasn’t for him, our stay would have been 5 star. If you have young children who enjoy the breakfast I would avoid this hotel.

The property is a clean average spot good value for the money but what will make me stay here again was FAITH at the front desk. After a five hour drive her smile and warm welcome made me happy I choose to stay here. Then she was eager to help me with an issue I had later on in the night. Great job FAITH! You made this review a five star!!

Gave me a key to someone’s occupied room. Swapped, room smelled very strong of dirty bleach. Very noisy, could hear people all night. Could also smell cigarettes which aren’t supposed to be.

Centrally located between Charming St. Elmo and trendy Southside. Comfortable bedding, quiet, super clean. Although not in a walkable area, St. Elmo and Southside are mere minutes away by car. There’s a brand new Food City grocery 0.8mi away if groceries in the mini-fridge are your thing. Super wonderful staff, easy check-in process.

The location says "downtown " but it actually isn't. There aren't any restaurants or shops within walking distance. The place appears clean, but the third floor, and our room, smelled awful. Several things in the room need maintenance, like the tub faucet, the refrigerator froze everything and no wa to adjust it. The worst was the unfriendly staff who didn’t greet, didn’t smile and were obvious about not wanting to be there. The breakfast worker was curt, rudely stepped or reached in front of huests, snapped at people who didn't know how to work the waffle maker, and he unplugged the food warmer 45 minutes before breakfast was over, indicating he was ready to leave. He kept things clean, and stocked, but his attitude was very unwelcoming. I wouldn't choose this hotel again. A dog on our floor was left alone in the room all day and yapped continuously. At least the desk called the room but no one was there to do anything about it.

The area where the hotel is seemed a bit run down and I had concerns about if parking was safe, but car fine in am. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, juices, cereal, waffles, anything you could think of and area was clean. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet.

The biggest thing that I didn't like,was breakfast was supposed to be from 6 - 9 and I went down Saturday morning and it wasn't ready. I had to leave at 7 15 and they just started putting it out

Bed was very comfy. Room was nice and spacious. Curtains pole was broken, making it difficult to move the curtains. Bathroom had mold on the caulking in the shower.

Needed somewhere to stay for the convention in town, after the first choice across the road turned out to be a rather interesting experience. So glad I stayed at Comfort Inn. Staff were fantastic and friendly, room was divine and the sunset view and bathroom refreshingly good.
