Airport shuttle offered but not on Thanksgiving day. Not shocking but I emailed in advance without response. Many phone calls later, a taxi (paid by hotel) arrived. Nice selection of snacks and drinks available for purchase in lobby (including beer and wine).

The property was the perfect distance between the airport and USC. The shuttle was not running to or from the airport but Hampton called us taxis both times for us and covered it. Taxis arrived on time. Staff was friendly. Breakfast has lots of options for a small hot continental breakfast. The room was great for what we needed it for.

When I arrived, only one elevator was working when I got to my room the air conditioner was not working the next morning. They changed my room and I waited for the elevator. The one that was working now both of them are not working so I had to go down the stairs they changed my room to the third floor so I had to carry all my stuff up to the third floor and then the TV wasn’t working

Breakfast was the only thing good about the hotel stay. The airport transportation never showed up. There was someone else's food in the refrigerator. Those two things kind of ruined the stay for me

My room 328 seemed fine and I was pleased to be here, however I soon learned that the television did not work. I eventually requested another room and proceeded downstairs to get a key in order to move because the desk clerk had no assistance and could not leave the desk to bring one to me. On arriving to the lobby I learned that as soon as a new key was made for my new room I would be locked out of my previous room. After some protest I proceeded upstairs and packed my belongings to proceed to the lobby for my new room's key. On settling into the new room I found that the thermostat on the wall could not be turned on to control the room temperature. I called the front desk and was told to turn on the heat at the wall unit. All in all I must say this is not what I expected from a Hilton associated property. Also, one elevator is inoperative and the other takes one up before going down.

I picked this hotel for a family reunion and I knew I would be eating a lot so I wanted to make sure to work out but I only had 1 day to work out because they closed the gym the remaining 3 days of my stay. I was very upset because no workers were there so I wanted to use the treadmill and they said I couldn't. I had to go outside in the heat to walk instead of the gym which made me very unhappy.

Hotel advertised a free airport shuttle. Despite arranging in advance, it was not there when we arrived and we had to wait an extra half hour to get to the hotel. Upon our return trip, we were informed there was no driver for the shuttle. They said they would arrange for a taxi at 6 a.m. I confirmed with them the day before. Morning of, no taxi. We had to get a ride from a kind fellow guest.

There was nothing to like about this property! It was extremely dirty. They did not/wouldn't give us towels to accommodate all of us. even after we asked. We saw a GIGANTIC cockroach in the hallway the morning we were leaving in the hallway, pointed it out to a chamber maid, then she just kicked it off to the side! Not to mention we overpaid for this stay because it was parents' weekend at our daughter's college. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Positive: 1) Hot water right away 2) helpful staff; front desk good communication. Laron was an excellent communicator! 3) very good breakfast 4) comfortable beds 5) Room lighting was excellent. Negative... 1) room with double beds. Didn't leave much room to walk around 2) Floors were dirty and needed to be mopped. 3) Our room wasn't cleaned the day we did not put out the Do Not Disturb sign. We were out most of the day so there was time for housekeeping to clean it. I ended up going to the laundry room and getting more towels.

Very kind and happy staff. Baby roach spotted in my hotel room's microwave. And then a few more roaches spotted crawling on walls and around the fridge. All in a 2 night stay. Disgusting. Also, a lot of various colored and various sized strands of hair all in the sheets. No excuse for this.

The sheets had spots on them and there were stains on the carpets. The rooms were pretty small/cramped and a tad outdated. It was also so hot even with the AC set to 68. The main areas did seem clean and the breakfast was good. I don’t like to complain, but stains on the sheets isn’t a good look. The staff was wonderful, super friendly and pleasant. We come to the Columbia area often for my son’s baseball events, however, it’s unlikely we will stay here again.

Comfortable bed, but room was very small. Housekeeping were allowing doors to slam closed as they were cleaning the rooms. This caused our door to rattle everytime, so not able to sleep in. Clean property and convenient location!

It is looking a little worn around the edges. The room was much smaller than any other Hampton Inn I’ve stayed. The iron didn’t work at all. The front staff when I checked in was friendly. The location was fine.

The room was too small for the advertised amenities. We couldn't even open the refrigerator door all the way- it hit the bed. You had to walk sideways to get passed the bed since there was not enough room.

Very quick stay over, got in late with an early flight the next morning. Laron helped us check in and I can honestly say I’ve never had such friendly service in my entire life. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Had everything you would need. Would definitely recommend.

Customer Service is excellent. Divya checked us in, gave us restaurant information and even walked outside to make sure our truck and trailer were parked in a good area. Rooms really nice and cleaned. We highly recommend staying here.

Provided the quality and service of a Hampton Inn that you come to expect. The breakfast was good and the area kept clean and stocked. This hotel is very convenient to access downtown or the riverwalk and restaurants are nearby. The only downside was the bathroom was smaller, a bit cramped and lacked a fan. Also, be aware that we experienced a lot of ambulance siren noises because it is located next to a hospital.

Very tired property. Below par for Hampton Inn. Building needs updates. Hallways were dark and dated. Parking was very limited - had to park in very back lot and didn't feel safe walking to front entrance.

Went to Columbia for a concert. Thai Restaurant nearby was outstanding. Downtown Columbia was clean and vibrant. Hotel we stayed in was near a very busy road and was a bit noisy
