Liked the layout of the hotel itself.. The parking situation was a little wonky. Had to park at the next unit over from our rooms. No biggie we'd been in the car 13 hours so walking was fine at that moment. The FOH staff was outstanding... The location was a bit noisy from an unexpected train/rail track somewhere near the hotel. Online booking was easy.. The lot was a little messy from recent renovations. Cleanliness was top notch.

The best motel swimming pool EVER ! Friendly helpful staff. Plentiful breakfast , clean room , comfy king bed, very reasonable pet fee 25.00 Per night. I highly recommend this place for families visiting Fort Jackson. Easy access to Gate 4

People knocking on your door in the middle of the night. They were doing work on parking lot which meant that you couldn't park close to your room and the noisy from them tearing up parking lot was not nice. Then multiple times i had to tell works i did not need my room cleaned. Even went so far as i had to show a worker my empty trash can

Property is currently under renovation. It's a noisy area, suggest you ask for room opposite of main road. Found several roofing nails in the parking lot. The portico ceiling was falling down.

Staff was super friendly, breakfast buffet was good, looks like they’re doing landscaping and getting ready to open the pool, will definitely come back, perfect stopping point on trip from Pittsburgh to Vero Beach!

Search function for pet friendly, book, arrive, get charged $50 cash for 2 small dogs. Look back at my booking information, see where $25/pet is listed at the bottom. If I am searching for pet friendly, why not simply list it inclusive versus hiding it in small print at the bottom of the booking? Floor damaged in room(clearly by a pet), but understand some people are pitiful owners.

Stayed for a week on business. There are a few things that were unpleasant. Moldy curtains, moldy shower curtain, dirty bathroom vent that doesn't even work. The train that goes through in the early am is noisy and that should be disclosed in property description I'd say. Breakfast room is small and they don't allow you to take any back to your room. Pool is only open until 7pm. When you check in the take full payment then verses when you checkout. The scenery of the prostitute (?) And her exposed breasts was definitely not good for business either. I was told it is under new management and they are working to update and fix the property so it is a work in progress.

The exterior of the building was drab. The pool was not open and was slime green. The interior of the room was sparse and unkept. The sink and shower was cracked. The bedspread had stains. The bathroom door and toilet paper holders were falling apart. The only pluses were good breakfast assortment and lots of other places to eat very close by.

Second time staying here. No complaints at all. Nothing was broken. Didn’t see not one roach/bug which always boosts a motel’s credibility for me. Was decently clean as well. Will stay here again. Keep up the great work.

There was very dirty. Mold was all over the bathroom, roaches crawling on the wall, paint peeling off of everything, the floors were not clean at all, the room smelled of cigarette smoke and the bed had burn holes all over it.

The whole room and bathroom was Dirty and smelled disgusting, had roaches and other bugs in the room/hair in shower. Had to leave our stay early it was so bad and then couldn’t even get a refund from them for the last night we didn’t even stay.

Hotel looked like they had a slight upgrade but the towels and washcloths were stained very bad. I had to go buy some from the dollar store because they looked so nasty. The mirrors weren’t wiped down (toothpaste spit all over them) and the ironing board was dirty along with the iron… so come with your clothes already ironed out I guess. Overall it wasn’t all bad. It was the only decent place we could find for the state fair weekend. The location was excellent. Close to the highway and restaurants and shopping centers.

I liked the check in process and staff was great. The towels smelled awful and the floors needed to be cleaned. We had no pillow cases and the pillows were old and stained and the comforter had holes in it.

This was by far the most NASTIEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life… My hotel room did not get clean the whole time I was there. Housekeeping can to my room around 2:30 in the afternoon to clean my room. I thought they were supposed to come in the morning to clean. I had to put a towel down inside of the tub to shower. The toilet ran all night… There was hair on the bottom of the toilet. I had to spray my bed down with Lysol because it smelled like vinegar.. Not to mention, there was what looked like pubic hair in my bed…. I was BEYOND disappointed and disgusted… When I checked out of my hotel I let the manger Fal know everything and absolutely NOTHING was done. All she said was that someone would clean the room. After I checked out. No partial refund, curtesy stay or anything was offered. I would NEVER stay at the Quality Inn nor would I recommend anyone to stay there… HORRIBLE service and experience all around

Good value for a short stay if not looking for fancy frills. The area was convenient to get right off of interstate, if you are attending an event. Lots of eateries close by, some within walking distance. Room was clean, decor was update so it felt modern. I would stay again when visiting Columbia.

The first room I stayed had a very strong odor. There was very little water pressure which likely would have been solved with a new washer. The shower curtain was torn. I then requested to be changed for the next night which the manager assured me that I could have a different room when I returned later that afternoon the desk clerk knew nothing about the request. However he did make a call and was able to get me into a new room. That room smelled of fried fish. The tub needed replaced and the towels were quite stained. All in all this was not a good experience particularly for the amount of money that I paid.

The central bathroom venting system was very noisy and created a draft under the door. Closing the door muffled it somewhat but still very annoying. The fan speed needs to be slowed!!

Pros: newly painted, and furnished Cons: holes in bedding, sticky floor, gross and dry breakfast, not so safe to travel with family, WiFi is very slow not worth money. We left Next day and stayed at another choice hotel block away with larger room and hot indoor pool and better breakfast for only $15 extra

The pictures of the hotel do not tell the whole story. The odor of weed surrounded the building. Things are occurring that you would expect from this area. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews as I booked the wrong hotel by accident and just winged it. If you have a family DO NOT BOOK HERE. this places is super disgusting and just don’t use. If it’s a must then bring your own blankets and pillows.

The staff attitude was nasty and unfriendly to the elderly and handicapped. I understood that they did not allow the free breakfast food to come out of the breakfast area but I asked if I could take something to my sister something that is elderly and handicapped some food they said no I would have to get permission from the front desk so I went to the front desk they also told me no I asked why wouldn’t you allow food to go to a person that is elderly and paralyzed on one side for me to bring them food she said that’s the policy. I said she paid for the room and she should be entitled to the amenities of their Hotel She then said well we just don’t allow it an no exceptions. Then the bathroom and towels were not the best. In my opinion they do not deserve a one star

Seemed to be a lot of people "living" at this hotel. Dozens of people hanging outside talking over the railings or just "hanging out". Drug paraphernalia on the ground in the parking lot. Thankful I didn't let my dog walk on it. We did not stay. We gave our keys back and drive across the street to another hotel. I was disappointed because we have stayed at many Quality Inns that weren't like this one.
