New hotel less than a year old! Centrally located just around the corner from Piccadilly Station/Gardens(2minute walk) alongside the canal. Nice modern decor, restaurant, & bar. Room quite spacious for a city centre room with coffee machine, fridge, and all the other usual small appliances. Very comfy bed, very good quality linen and toiletries. Breakfast was very good, buffet and a la carte options available. But what really makes this hotel is the staff... Danni welcoming us in reception was very helpful and even managed to get us a room upgrade! Ollie served us a complimentary cocktail which was very much appreciated too after our long journey. The 2 ladies behind the bar Emily & Niamh were very attentive and kept the bar area spotless and our glasses full! The room attendants also get a mention, smiling and obviously happy in their work. All employees were friendly and smiled when they greeted us and also showed professionalism. Another factor was the great price for it's central location. We would definitely stay here when visiting Manchester in the future. Thank you Team Reach for a memorable stay!

Hotel was absolutely spotless, staff excellent and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel is situated in an excellent location very close to the train station, parking options are plentiful close by and only £15 for 24 hours. Complimentary fruit and flavoured water available and macarons on arrival. Cute setting for reastaurant with view of the canal. Lovely hotel would definitely return!

The Reach hotel in Manchester is a beautiful stay. A convenient location with a tapas style restaurant inside called Lock 84. Due to maintenance issues we were upgraded to a suite which came with a fully stocked bar and snacks. It came with sleep kits, toothbrushes, combs, and had an amazing shower and giant sink. The staff were so friendly and helpful. An incredible night. Highly recommend them if you’re ever in Manchester.

Fantastic! The hotel is a 4 minute walk from Piccadilly train station and a short walk into the centre and a pleasant 30 minute walk along the canal to the Co-Op Live. The hotel itself has been recently refurbished with a cosy scandi design and the staff are very friendly and happy to help. I slept incredibly well considering you are in the centre and breakfast the following day was superb. Great value for money, I hope to stay again.

Exceptionally modern and clean property in a pretty good location (perhaps a little too close to the train station for its own good). Rooms are like some of the best modern Japanese business motels I've stayed at. Some staff better than others. Tiny lifts and ridiculously small fitness room.

This hotel is excellent! It is modern, clean, and welcoming. The staff were really friendly and professional. The room was air-conditioned, it had good quality refreshments, and a decent sized modern bathroom. Our room overlooked the river which was a bonus. Breakfast was great with attentive staff and high standards of cleanliness throughout. The hosts in the restaurant provided excellent customer service. We'll be back!

Gorgeous hotel in a fab location. Beautiful design throughout. Only thing is in the draw where you would put your clothes, there was a long hair which made me think it hadn’t been cleaned. But everything else in the room was spotless and gorgeous so I would 100% stay again.

Hotel on arrival looks impressive but not so much up close. Welcome drink was tasteless, so was the breakfast. No tea or any snacks in my room, wine glass was dusty, floor and shower both had random hairs (not mine), down the side of the bed was dusty and dirty. TV stopped working in the morning, the shower was boiling hot and moving the dial didn't change the temperature.

We parked in Tariff street , just around the corner and it worked really well for visiting family - Ancoats and Northern Quarter really cool places to visit! Hotel staff excellent !

I had a word with the receptionist on the day of my check out regarding my concerns for the cleanliness of the bedroom.Upon check in i can see some dust especially behind the door. The next day,i was shocked that my bed was half done only.Sink was not cleaned and hair dryer was left exactly the same since i was in a rush that morning.Bits of toilet rolls behind the door and more dust.Housekeeping not doing there job properly.I have been to almost all of the hotel chains and this was the first time ever that thebed was not done properly .Much better service when i was at travelodge or premier inn standard to think that it is Marriit Bonvoy chain. Even on the dining room table,being the first customer in the moring i can see some crumbs on an empty and unused table. Room was noisy can hear very loud from outside and the lay out of the bed that you cant stand in front of it since its almost next to the wall where the tv is.The bed is on a platform like of wood which i almost knocked my foot. I hope that the receptionist that day mentioned it to her supervisor all my concerns since i did not get any feed back at all since

Very expensive for what is a pretty basic hotel - small room no robes slippers bed was fine but not amazing noise from other rooms/corridors was quite loud (doors being opened by neighbors sounds like your door being opened) tiny windows so dark room etc. Maybe stay if you get a good deal but definitely not worth the price. Stayed in deluxe city view room

Great room for one person. There was a pillar in the middle of the room so getting out of one side of the bed was easier than the other. Didn't always have hot water in the bathroom sink (mentioned to reception) and the fridge didn't get cold (even with using the temperature dial). Location great, staff wonderful. I would definitely stay there again.

There was a buffet breakfast for 12.50 GBP, which I didn't partake, but it looked like there was plenty of choice. The bed was comfortable but oddly placed. One couldn't walk around it, so if two people were staying, one person would have to crawl across the bed and the other person to get to their side. The bed reading lamp was on the side of the bed that needed to be crawled over. As I was alone, it wasn't an issue for me. The TV was huge. The light switches were odd. I never did figure them out, just kept flicking them on and off to see what switch operated what light. It was also very low lighting, so as a person who needs plenty of light to see, it was a little frustrating. Very clean room with plenty of tea, coffee and snacks provided. The air conditioning worked well and was appreciated during the heat wave. Nice shower with plenty of pressure. The hotel is a five minute walk from the railway station, as well as many shops and restaurants, pubs. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, was greeted by the front desk staff and given a complimentary cocktail which was a nice touch. The room however was a lot smaller than expected and was advertised as a delux queen but the wall mounting the Tv was nearly touching the bed and left very little space to move around the room. The windows leading out to the balcony were certainly not double glazed or sound proofed and could hear a lot of noise from the street at all hours. This left us with a very poor nights sleep and a wish to get off as soon as possible to head home.

The room was tiny with less than 30cm between the end of the bed and the wall. The service was good however when we ordered food to the room on both occasions it arrived early with us not ready to receive it. Also the breakfast in the room was tiny and we were not offered any drinks such as tea or coffee or juices. For the price point, this is horrific.

Lovely spacious room, I always grade a good hotel on two things a comfy bed and a good shower and this one was excellent in both categories. Breakfast was really good, plenty of options to choice from and a menu where food is made fresh. Location is great right near train station. i would certainly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Manchester City Centre

The Reach is a lovely, new hotel close to Piccadilly Station. The only staff I came into contact with were both at reception. Neither of them were the friendliest. Check in was a little awkward. I was told the only thing outstanding was the £1.20 tourist fee but as I presented my card to the card reader I saw that I was being charged £51.20. Only then when I queried the £51.20 charge was I told that there was a £50.00 security deposit. Its not good enough to be told of this additional charge only after I have paid it.

Very nice room and great decor, although bed felt too big for the room, little space to move around. All amenities, courteous staff. Bit slow in serving cooked breakfast, took nearly 30 minutes for us to be served.

Check in and out were quiet long in terms of the queuing. At check in we were put in a cosy room although we booked a deluxe. We told the reception staff and they were extremely apologetic, gave us a free alcoholic drink and a free breakfast for the following morning. During our time at breakfast we were greeted with very friendly staff. Just because of the service - next time we are in Manchester I will book the same hotel - deluxe suite only.

Firstly, the location is excellent. Very easy to navigate from the train station. Upon entrance into the property, you are welcomed by extremely friendly and professional staff. Whilst admiring the decor and furnishings you are even offered a beverage when signed in - a wonderful touch. Once in your room, you will enjoy a well cleaned, beautifully lit, main bedroom, bathroom & shower. Overall, a joyous experience, with quaint nearby dining options. The hotel food, also lovely. I highly look forward to a future visit.

Came to a concert, so was a whistle stop visit. Took a while queuing before checking in, Didn't spend too much time in the room but it was clean and the decor and amenities were nice. When we came back from the concert, the flush on the the toilet didn’t work, called the front desk, who in fairness got someone up fairly sharpish who appeared to fix the issue (However, He did remark that this had happened before) I then used the toilet, and it would not flush again. At this point it was after midnight so we decided despite it being unpleasant, rather than going through the hassle of ringing again, and possibly having to change rooms, to leave it. Mentioned this on the desk in the morning when checking out, who could only offer ‘Besides this was everything else OK with your stay?’ To be fair, it was-but I’d consider a fundamental of a hotel stay should surely be a working toilet

Fantastic! The hotel is a 4 minute walk from Piccadilly train station and a short walk into the centre and a pleasant 30 minute walk along the canal to the Co-Op Live. Lovely spacious room, I always grade a good hotel on two things a comfy bed and a good shower and this one was excellent in both categories. Breakfast was really good, plenty of options to choice from and a menu where food is made fresh. Location is great right near train station. i would certainly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Manchester City Centre

Stayed there for 10 days. Great location, nice room but house keeping & service seriously required huge improvements. On day 2 or 3 my own face towel was missing from the bathroom. I reported it to the receptionist. 3 times. No update until I checked out. On day 7, I was asked to move due to leakage in AC & promised an upgrade but turned out it was only two drinks coupons. Bed was too soft for me. I ordered room service for breakfast once, and was disappointed as it came in a paper bowl and disposable fork, no tray, mediocre taste. For £20.

Brilliant service staff lovely and welcoming on arrival. DJ playing the Smiths in the reception room was a class touch. Had food in the restaurant before we went to see Oasis(also amazing) and it was delicious little tapas menu. Room was immaculate and fitted with good Air-con which was essential in the 31° Manchester City bathroom and shower also immaculately clean’ stocked well with all the toiletries-you could need. Bed itself was extremely comfy with a huge flatscreen TV in front overall I haven’t got a bad thing to say about this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on my visit to Manchester. See you soon.

Thoroughly excellent one night stay, staff all super friendly and helpful, lovely clean well equipped room. Breakfast booked when we arrived and it was excellent quality super tasty and excellent value as a vegetarian (no eggs either) it was great to have a choice, mushrooms on aourdough was beautiful, hubby a full English was delicious too. Without a doubt we will be back next time we are in Manchester.
