This was a very nice stay and the room suite had great qualities. Unfortunately, there wasn't a way to fully close any of the doors or windows and so all of the constant noise from animals, partying, and construction around the hotel were impossible to escape even when trying to sleep. The bathroom also only had shutter windows into the suite with no other light or ventilation which meant no privacy. The hotel itself was fine but minimal with cleaning, but only a free coffee nespresso pod offered daily and the pool often not cleaned. The hotel is also located quite a bit out off the main areas with tourists and the road is still unpaved and feels a bit dangerous at nighttime.

Isabella was very nice, professional, and helpful. In addition, other staff members were very friendly and did a great job. Casa Borka is a quiet respite from the busier areas of Puerto. Thank you for everything!

There aren’t actual windows at this property so it is extremely noisy. It’s just screens with wood shutters. Next door has roosters so every morning every early they get to be very loud, dogs bark all night so you hear that constantly and any vehicle that drives by wakes you up. The property itself is nice but the noise was unbearable. Also if you enjoy air conditioning this isn’t a place for you since you don’t have insulation in your window areas so it’s the same temperature inside as it in outside. Bad pillows as well. The place is really clean though the maids did an amazing job

My stay at Casa Borka was great and Isabella was very helpful in booking transport and answering my questions. My flight got in early and I was allowed to come in to drop my bags. All around a very comfortable room and stay. One thing to note is this is not a hotel. Staff is not always available at the property aside from check-in and check-out. However they are available and very communicative on WhatsApp to make arrangements and answer questions.
