Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were so friendly. Subway station is right outside the main entrance of the hotel! Would definitely stay again. The rooftop pool was really busy so if you are hoping to get a lounger would recommend going up early.

Elevators are extremely slow and only one out of three works during checkout time in the morning. And you can only use the stairs up to 5th floor and can't come down all the way to the lobby.

The rooftop pool was super small and did not match up to how the photos looked of it at all. Rooms are small as you would expect of an older hotel and the mattresses were really hard which made it kind of difficult to get a good night's sleep. But the staff was amazing it was very clean well decorated.

Great location in the city, clean, nicely appointed room, staff was friendly and helpful. I was looking forward to the outdoor rooftop space but it was closed for the season without notice. Also pretty steep parking $$$ for 24 hrs. Adjoined restaurant was very nice with discount tickets given ant checkin. All in all I would stay there again without hesitation!

Decent hotel, good location but... Pricey (~$400/nt) for what’s offered and parking is and extra $70/24h. Some peeling wallpaper, still have individual soaps, shampoos rather than in shower dispensers. Will try someplace else next time.

Very clean and organized and the free coffee, water, soda and snacks were a breath of fresh air. Roof Top Pool area was beautiful (get there early!) and fantastic views up there! Easy to get to from Logan and a short drive to most of Boston. Would recommend and stay again.

Hotel pool was closed for the night for an event- no one notified us ahead of time or at check in. Was told that they would speak to the manager and get back to us about compensation and never did. The main reason we booked that hotel was for the roof top pool. Disappointing.

This hotel had an amazing location! It was easy to get around!! However, the room was not clean. Woodwork dust was an inch thick….bathroom had hair in sink, on floors and mirrors had toothpaste on them when we arrived. Chairs had all rips and tears in them. Bathroom corners had all peeling and moldy wallpaper. Just felt grossed out! Paid almost $600 a night and it was not clean. The view was spectacular….the location great but cleanliness for me is key!!

The bathroom seemed unclean when we came in. Large clumps of hair in the shower. Hair in the sheets. Overall the property was fine, the pool allows for public access too so it was very busy. The fire alarm went off at 5:00 in the morning one morning so we had to evacuate. Ironic that we were charged daily "convenience" fee which essentially gave us access to the pool that should have been inclusive to the property (and we didn't use), and 2 water bottles per day.... no compensation for the inconvenience of being evacuated. I wouldn't recommend.

Liked size of rooms and peaceful location Not impressed with mouldy shower curtain in bathroom and even less impressed with having to change rooms on our last evening When we came back to the room after being out all day we discovered a leak in the bathroom We were told that we would get a call from reception to explain what would happen This never came and the next thing we knew was a young lad giving us a new room key We then had to move rooms and didn’t expect to get what I would consider a inferior room (the bathroom was tiny) Whilst I understand problems occur the way in which it was handled was totally unacceptable and not what I would expect of a four star hotel

I’m disappointed with the cleanliness. The bathroom was dirty, the towels were not clean and there was random hair all over. Also, we were there 4 night and didn’t make our room up once. I had to look for clean towels and other things on my own. Location is good but they gave us last room down the hallway and were forgotten about.

Excellent hotel, walkable to the centre but probably better using the tube or Uber. The pool is excellent, really nice vibe and great views. Rooms are decent, air con is loud but in general, pretty good. Hard to fault really and Boston is an amazing city.

Really rated the hotel in terms of staff, service, cleanliness, room amenities and location. Our only issue was that the walls were very thin and the doors had fairly big gaps at the bottom so noise travelled. Our room has an interconnecting door (not requested aa only one room required) and we could hear our neighbours conversations. I had to put a towel under to fill the gap but could still hear them and their TV. Would stay here again but would request a non-interconnecting room.

The facilities are new and front office staff were very friendly. The worse thing was that the walls are thin, the rooms are NOT soundproof. Our neighbor was loud all morning. We had to call down to the front office to have her stop talkng at 2:30am!

We love staying at this property. The room is spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed is comfortable. The roof top pool and bar area are great for summertime visits. The location is convenient for walking to Fenway, the Prudential, and public garden. The green line T station is right outside the entrance. The staff friendly and accommodating.

Nice staff, fine room. "Resort fee" automatically downgrades all properties for me. (not a resort, anyway.) AC loud & not up to the summer heat. Pool is much smaller than pictured, though nice view from up there. "Continental breakfast" was fresh fruit (good) and tiny packages of cookies and fruit bars (ridiculous), nothing else.

Would highly recommend the Colonnade Hotel! Its location in Back Bay is easily accessible to everything. We walked to Fenway, all kinds of restaurants and sites such as the Boston Public Library or Boston Commons or just easily hoped the subway right out the front door, which is so easy to navigate. Just a quick $2.40 Apple Pay to ride to North End or anywhere on the Waterfront. Our room was quite spacious and had a beautiful city view with the floor to ceiling windows the entire length of the room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The elevators were fast and they even offered a room that you could access with your room key that held snacks, sodas and bottled water, coffee and ice free of charge! The rooftop pool was so relaxing at the end of a busy day of sightseeing as well. One more thing- if you’re flying into Logan- use the Back Bay Shuttle bus service for free to get to the hotel, it drops you off a block away and it’s only $3 to ride it back to the airport. What a bonus! We would definitely stay at the Colonnade again!

Evening front reception staff on our first night were unprofessional and rude. The Manager promptly responded however, and corrected things. Good location. Need to improve food and beverage options in the hotel, eg. perhaps offer a way for guests to purchase dessert/coffee/after dinner drinks in the lovely lobby area or to go.

The bed has hairs. Toilet bowl flush pressure is very slow, like about 5-10 minutes interval to fill up the water to do another flush. Took time to mix the water heater & cold. The rooftop was closed but never advised it was. When we brought up to the attention of the front desk, brass tone and rude voice. Just unbelievable! Went to check in here for a celebration, glad it is only a night stay. We were placed to the end room and view was another building. The a/c was not proportion to the beds, just straight hitting one bed.

Good location and nice rooftop pool, however had a series of issues that were not dealt with effectively by staff. This included poor communication from staff at the reception desk, parking charges being added to our account (when we didn’t have a car) and late check out not activated on the room key after arranging with front desk staff the previous evening.

From the time we walked in Juan and Darren at the front desk were very welcoming as well as the parking staff! The whole team was very eager to please and made sure you had everything you needed. Overall very great visit! Will definitely stay her the next time we’re in Boston.

The on site restaurant was consistently closed for private events. Staff was friendly enough, but only if I engaged first. Area has lots of shopping and food options, some though are very pricey, so be sure to do your research before you go! Room was fairly standard, clean and comfortable.
