We like the pool area and is a big part in our decision to stay here....but...we had a view of construction out of our window...13 children ages 7 to 18 were un supervised in the pool and hot tub area...the hot tub needed cleaning as there was some black mold at the corner of it...it is usually spotless in the area...the hall carpet needed cleaning and my wife and i showered seperately in our room shower and both commented on black mold in the shower...the shower head is too high up also..... the property is dated and they are building a NEW hotel directly adjacent to the property.....

Facility was comfortable and clean, staff was fine, breakfast was good. Picture is misleading in that it is next to a casino, there was major construction going on as another hotel is being constructed immediately next door. Construction noise was not a problem as work stopped at 5:00 pm. Sharing a parking lot with the casino was problematic for us as the only place to walk is around the parking lot and there were several clearly drunken people wandering the parking lot.

The walls are very thin, you can hear people speaking through them. There’s construction going on the parking lot so it’s harder to navigate. You’ll have to park further back in the evening since the restaurant is open at that time and they share a parking lot. Front desk staff and helpful and there when you need them.

Everything was good and we had a comfortable stay but the indoor pool was a bit cold. We were looking forward to the pool but it was too cold for me to get it. The hot tub was very nice and spacious though!

We stay here every year on our trip back to Wisconsin. The restaurant Houlihans has amazing food. The pool and hut tub are very clean, just like the rest of the hotel.

The concert crowd outside was loud. The parking was packed due to concert and almost didn't have parking for hotel guests. Im not sure a stay in Dubuque, IA should vost over $300/ night.

Nice accommodations. We got a room with a single king bed so we'd have more floor space. We had plenty of towels and got k-cup refills at the front desk. The main negative is that there is smoking in the (attached) casino and that smoke smell permeates the entire complex. Once we got used to it, it wasn't terrible - but it was not a pleasant intro when we entered the hotel AND we'd get a second blast of smoke-smell when we opened the room's door. The pool was nice. We were there in early December and the pool was quiet - no kids!

I liked the convenience of having the casino and restaurants so close. Im disappointed that the bathroom was dirty and had a glob of hair that was left in clear sight. I told front desk and she didnt seem to care. She just said she would pass it along. I paid over 200 bucks and would think id get some reimbursement of some sort. I was planning another trip in june but i think ill find another hotel to stay in

Had a nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Great staff & modern room. Only drawbacks are they are currently building another Hilton hotel next door and the construction will be happening until the end of 2025. Staff was very nice and checked in via text several times to ensure all was good. Will say the lighting in the room was lacking.

My husband and I were in town for a concert and I booked a king bed room. We got up to our 3rd floor room to be completely disappointed in our view of a wall out our window, dirty tissues between our bed and wall. And the sofa chair was sooo dirty. The thing that really upset me was having a door into the next room that conjoined them. I was not expecting that and felt it invaded my privacy. I wish I would have known that beforehand. The best thing about this hotel was having on site restaurants and bars which was convenient so we didn't have to leave. Let's say we won't be back.

Checking in one lady didn't want to help us.The one that did didn't tell us anything about if you had breakfast, if there was a pool...nothing about the hotel. Everytime we sit on the bed it makes a loud drum sound, walls are so thin we can hear what the neighbors are saying.

The staff went above! I was early and the room was not ready, they kept my bag and balloons and out them in the room for me when it was ready. I got in after a comedy show and everything was nicely placed on a chair in the room.

Property is over priced for the age. Carpet in the room was dirty. Do not walk on without shoes. Bathroom taps leaked. Poor lighting in the room. No service in the room. one day. Front desk advised that was my fault. Very, very condescending. Continental breakfast was very average for $12. Better is included with most chains.

We arrived at 3 pm. I had reserved an accessible room, but the front desk said the cleaning crew had not finished and the room would be ready in about an hour. We left and came back about an hour later & it still wasn't ready. We sat in the lobby waiting for another hour, when finally someone approached us and asked if it was absolutely necessary we get an accessible room, so I finally relented and accepted the change to a regular room. I'm not happy!

We should up at 4:37 with a 3pm check in. We had to wait 5-10 behind only two parties and then another 10-15 minutes for our room. The checkout was another 10 minute wait behind parties. I asked for a room receipt and got my breakfast bill. I left because didn’t have time to wait.

Rather difficult to find. Front desk staff could have given more info at check in re Wi-Fi, breakfast, facilities. Bathtub grad bar on wrong end of tub for entering shower. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice towels and plenty. Good breakfast and friendly server.
