We enjoyed the double queen suite room with the balcony. The view was very nice. The bathroom looked really nice, but the shower head is pointed at the shower door, so you have to get in the shower to warm the water up or you'll get soaked turning it on from the outside. We were upset that the pool is closed for the whole season, because it was advertised as the pool being open. Breakfast was not great with only toast, muffins, or cereal as options.

The sidewalk was a sheet of ice and had not been scooped leaving it dangerous on a downhill incline. Parking sucked period. We have a 2500 truck but all the parking for the separate rooms were filled. We ended up parking in the other hotel parking lot. Glad we didn’t get towed. It was great location and reasonably priced.

Hotel was sold out, rooms were priced well. A female & baby elk were on the property. Everyone was very careful around them and drove slowly. The King room was spacious but had odd furniture in it. A metal patio set was right inside the door next to the bed, an eating space that was in the way. What looked like a dining table was the desk with an office chair. The bed was comfortable with 6 pillows. We did not use the T.V. The pool walkway was in need of repair, many spots were worn into pebbles, hurting feet. Hot tub was about 100 degrees. Nice playground. Very noisy with road traffic and local kids riding through the parking lot and jumping the speed bumps. Steep, narrow parking lot with blind curve,1 lane road on a hill. The breakfast area was nice with different seats and areas to sit in. The breakfast was the worst I've seen, even for a Continental breakfast. There were no small cartons of milk, hard-boiled eggs, or choice of bread-only white. Cereal was boxes of Raison Bran, several choices of fruit, and Waffles were in a package like a muffin. There was a microwave to heat them up. At 8:30am there was nothing left for breakfast. We had to wait for the staff to get out the meager offerings. We decided to go to local restaurants for a good meal. Had a water station. The coffee, hot chocolate, tea area was very minimal. Location is great by Stanley hotel, Grocery, restaurants, horses, carts, golf, adventure park, downtown, shops, hiking, Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park-timed entry.

The only thing I would complain is that they had said that they have laundry but actually they never had one , please marketing team don’t put these kind of stuff because it ruins the experience and makes a hostile environment for the employees

Pros: The room was clean and nice Check in was easy Front desk attendant was polite Cons: right off of the road so lots of road noise. Huge family stuffed into the room next to ours, that created lots of noise on their own, and had a dog that barked non stop any time they were away. The barking woke us up early after a long previous day of travel. I would rather the "breakfast" not even be advertised, 2 types of tiny boxed cereals that kids won't eat, maybe 2 slices of bread in the box, some yogurt, and individually wrapped waffles. We left and had breakfast elsewhere. Too bad because the "breakfast" was part of the reason we booked here. The pool was right next to the highway there, so not enjoyable or relaxing, and no pool towels were provided. Overall NOT worth the money. I'd have paid a little more for a better experience.

It may not look like much from the outside but the rooms are newly remodeled! They are modern, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Great rooms! The service however is dreadful. The young ladies running the front desk are more interested in their social media than real people visiting the property. Also, the front desk is completely isolated from the cleaning staff, They have no idea when the cleaning staff are finished with the rooms and are unable to help the guests with simple room replenishment items like coffee refills or even a roll of toilet paper. The front desk staff couldn't be bothered with even looking for a roll of TP. We had to wait for the cleaning staff to show up to get a roll. Also...no hot tub for those booking because they said they had one on their website. It is permanently closed. Great rooms, terrible service.

Pool was being repaired, we weren’t aware it was unusable until arrival. Breakfast was minimal but enough for us for the morning. Pretty views, quiet, close enough to walk into town.

This property had large quantities of bed and other bugs. Ive documented. Found ourselves in them in the morning across 2 Queen beds. Front desk indicated they would refund our one night. Pending refund.

We were made to feel welcome and appreciate the late night jacuzzi. The room was spotless and parking was directly in front of the door of our room. We will definitely come back and recommend this sweet little affordable motel.

Double Queen Room. The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable with nice linens, bathroom was small no counter space. No closet, but a coatrack with hooks to hang your clothes. While the hotel is older, I found the room clean, comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived at the hotel there were toilet plungers tossed behind the edge of the building. They weren\'t moved the entire stay. The rooms furniture had dirt on it, the lights had cobwebs. The coffee maker only had decaf and the front desk didn\'t have any regular coffee for the machine. When we looked in the coffee maker it was very dirty. So we ended up getting starbucks. The advertised fireplace in the room wasn\'t gas or woodburning. It was 3 small pans in the wall that were supposed to be filled with Ethanol Fireplace Fuel, but were empty. Even when the front desk came to fill them, they really aren\'t a "fireplace". They are little strays with small flames that burn out quickly. We were very disappointed and will not be staying at this facility again.

Overall it’s an okay stay. Our room was not cleaned at all. There was someone’s tank top by the drawer and the microwave still had food in it. The location is nearby downtown and Rocky Mountain Park. Breakfast is only to go stuff, don’t expect too much, we ended up getting breakfast in town. Staff are nice though.

Newly redecorated. Close to Rocky Mt. Nat. Park and Stanley Hotel. Comfortable bed. 2nd level had better mountain view. Liked large canvas of mountains and blue wall. Small but cute bathroom, all newly done. Nice little frig and microwave. Only suggestion would be for hooks on bathroom door to hang stuff.

Walking distance to visitor center and restaurants. Rooms were very clean. Only complaint, not a restful sleep. Refrigerator made constant noise and you could hear every step in the unit above and all around.

This property is a little way out of the main center of things. It is very basically furnished, with a metal table & chair. So I would not plan on relaxing in the room, unless you are in bed. I would recommend it for 1 night or 2 max. I was there for 2 nights and that was too much. Bed was very soft & worn.

I liked the proximity to town and the easy access to room/parking and pet area. The pool was very busy but our room was quiet and the A/C worked very well. The bed was comfortable enough, and there was an elk who visited the property. Improvements could be made to the dressers which were falling apart, tiny TV and thin towels. But for a short stay it worked out perfectly for us.

We stayed in the condo. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed to cook some meals but there was NO extra blankets for the pull out sofa. And by the time we realized it, the office was closed. I tried calling the after hours line and got no reply. So two people in our group had to sleep with the bath towels.

Staff were offhand and didn't seem to know what they were doing. I was overcharged at checkout by $114! The lady on reception said she had refunded me but what she had actually done was charge me again! She had to get another member of staff but he could only refund one of the charges and said his manager would have to refund the other but she was not there. He promised the refund would be issued but I am yet to receive confirmation that it has been done. The room was small and smelled musty. The air conditioning was so loud we couldn't leave it on overnight. The shower was great. The area around the pool was quite dangerous with loose pieces of concrete scattered around. Breakfast had a very limited selection.

There was no one at the desk after 7pm so we couldn’t check in. When we walked up to the office we saw an employee and she closed the door on us when we saw her and wouldn’t answer when we knocked even though we could hear her in the room. Absolutely horrible experience

When I tried to check in, the guy couldn't find keys to my room. He scrambled for about 20 minutes, but nothing. He apologized several times and seemed a bit nervous, but I reassured him that I'd be willing to take whatever he had available. He ended up finding a room and then the key didn't fit. Honestly, I couldn't get annoyed because sometimes these things just happen. He went above and beyond to get us situated. We finally got into our room and it was probably the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. It wasn’t super fancy, but was very cute and super tidy. I will be staying here again for sure. If the hotel reads this review, give that guy a raise. He's worth every penny.

Key didn't work. Office closed at 7 pm!! Staff were unresponsive. NO communication in reply to voice mail. It took over an hour for someone to get us into our room. Meanwhile we sat in our car waiting in 30 degree weather.

Traveling with a semi handicapped friend, so we were accommodated with a ground floor room which was adequately spacious and had ample storage and "counter" top space for all of the extras. Staff was very welcoming and interested in our input. We felt welcomed and appreciated.

We’ve stayed here before and loved it previously. This time was a little different. We requested clean towels and room service and didn’t receive it. When we asked for clean towels that evening because we didn’t receive the room service we had requested the young lady advised that they didn’t have any clean towels and they would have to get some from their sister motel. I asked for them to come in and change our bedding and tidy up the following day, I was told they didn’t do that since it’s a lodge, they don’t change sheets. That’s very odd to me. The service just wasn’t good this time around. Pretty disappointed overall because we’ve always loved this place. Maybe new management?

The pictures on your site and what I expected were totally different from what we got. I spoke to the desk clerk and was told they have tried getting pictures corrected unsuccessfully but i could have paid a lot less at a motel 6 if I wanted a room like that. We left and have been asking for a refund since we didn’t stay and keep getting run around

The room you see on their web page and the room you get are two different rooms. You think your getting a well lite spacious room but instead you get a bo Not to mention that the breakfast items had been expired for 4 months. When I mentioned it they acted as if nothing was wro g and they did not remove the expired items Honestly your better of staying somewhere else.
