We were so pleased with our stay. Everyone was friendly and check-in and check-out procedures are designed to be flexible and customer-friendly. Our double-queen room with balcony was spacious for our family of three and the mini fridge was bigger than at the chain hotel in town where we stayed earlier in our trip. No problems! We didn’t use the pool or fire pit, but they looked good. The hotel is on the shuttle route in the summer and the location close to the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP is hard to beat. We were also able to walk to restaurants and mini golf nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and rooms clean. Great location and views. Only thing wrong was the hottub was under repair and that wasn't even that big a deal. Will definitely stay here again!

Some quick facts about our stay: - The pool was closed all four days we were there in the Summer. (Was tiny and really only for small kids anyway) - They will not service your room by default unless you place the “please clean room” card on your outside doorknob. - There is a both a full service restaurant and a nice cafe with a bakery case and great breakfast breads, hot beverages and lite breakfasts within a 2 minute walk of the motel. - It is Not walkable to downtown due to it being on a busy highway almost a mile out of town without any sidewalks. - The town has a shuttle bus to downtown that stops there during the summer which runs hourly until 9pm.

Older property overall-be aware Likes: 1. close to everything EP/ RMNP (beware! Town is building new roundabout between downtown EP, and the road leading to this hotel. Give yourself extra time if you have plans or reservations downtown when staying here until completed. LONG line of traffic getting TO the hotel and FROM w/ construction 2. Quiet-but walls are thin. Could hear neighbor showering, etc. 3. Parking right outside your door. 4. Nice shower, plush towels, very clean room. Modestly decorated. Laminate floors. 5. Good lighting in room. 6. Good heat control. 7. Extra blanket 8. Nice TV, cable 10. Electronic lock to room & reg locking 11. Clean bedding ok pillows 12. Nice microwave/ fridge/ iron 13. EZ ck in, like the 11AM ck-out. 14. Very pretty view Dislikes: 1.fridge in room- wasn’t cold. Had to turn it on and wait. Had stuff that needed refrigeration. 2. Bed hard not comfortable. Bed is on metal platform (to prevent you from losing stuff under the bed) and it bangs and clangs when you move around on mattress sounds like you’re laying on a file cabinet. 3. Blanket on bed frayed & dirty 4. Coffee pot/coffee- cheaply made, worked poorly, cheap coffee packets were awful. 5. Toilet very slow to fully flush to clear bowl. 6. VERY VERY DARK OUTSIDE OUR DOORS/ parking area AT NIGHT!!! No lights at all, had to use phone light. Dangerous!! 7. Unreliable,weak WiFi. Decent basic place but could improve a bit for the price.

very close proximity to RMP east entrance. No frills motel. Large room, clean, good heating and a/c. Appreciated having a little table and chair for workspace or dining. All rooms ground level with parking right outside your door so not a lot of privacy. Did not use pool so cannot comment on. In room Coffee machine is lousy. Good coffee from available in office or coffee shop adjacent to hotel. Not a walkable area but small commercial area with grocery kittycorner to motel.

We put the sign out for the maid to clean are room twice in our 6 day stay she only cleaned it once! and my phone cord fell behind the bedside table and i don't think that has been cleaned in months! We went to a Restaurant On the Rock Just down the Street it was GREAT.

The workers were very very nice. The room on the other hand, was not so good. The bed is rock hard and springy. There are no shelves in the extremely tiny bathroom. All I wanted was a bathtub so I can soak myself (swollen knees and hip from hiking). It was the smallest stand up shower I have ever seen. The only rack in the shower was broken. After spending all day at the RMNP, we came back to the hotel to rest and relax, except the TV was already “signal lost” and wouldn’t work! The lights flicker too. It was a 20 anniversary trip for my husband and I, but I’m sad I picked this motel for us.

This is our second year staying here. While the property is a bit older, the rooms have been updated and are nice and clean. You don’t hear much noise from the other units and the view of the mountains is wonderful. We’ll be back!

Outside shabby. Lots of construction work. Inconvenient parking. Carpet had large spots. Pillows smelly. I canceled second day and was told they didn’t know how to work with Expedia so I’m going to have to deal with trying to get the refund. Office is cluttered and disorganized.

Our room was musty smelling and the bathroom was dirty. I cleaned it myself upon arrival. So many long black hairs in the tub and on the floor. BUT convenient location and quick check in if you aren’t concerned about the cleanliness of the place.

Stayed for 10 nights mid-September of 2024. Was very quiet and clean. Two miles from Beaver Meadows Entrance Station of Rocky Mountain National Park. Walkable to Bird and Jim Restaurant and a local deli/bakery (Scratch). My only gripe was the water pressure in the shower which one day went down to a trickle for about 30 seconds twice while I was lathered up. I rinsed off quickly after that!!! That only occurred once. You can park right outside your room. The outside of the inn doesn't look impressive but the rooms are a good size, are renovated, and are well appointed. Housekeeping was good. The rooms appear in person as they do in the photos online. I will definitely stay again.

The price was high for the place. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Though it was relatively clean, there were long black hairs on the bathroom floor. Our room on the second night was $185-$190 for one night and it was extremely tiny with no ice, no coffee machine. I know Estes is expensive, but not worth the price in my opinion.

Great location - super close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and easy to get in to downtown Estes Park (construction is still going on). Very clean room and bathroom. The AC was obnoxiously loud like lots of paper crunching constantly but luckily it was cold enough at night so we didn’t need it on too much. Overall we would stay again!

We were in a downstairs room and could hear a lot of noise from the room above us. Lots of heavy footsteps, etc. The property is clean and convenient. I did not see a view that matched the picture on their listing. There is a decent view of a small mountain across the highway. The bed was comfortable.

The room itself was nice. New flooring and the walls appeared to be in great shape. Large bathroom was clean. The lady who checked us in was very nice and explained everything well. The room was a bit short of clear floorspace, with two queen beds. The nightstands and table could use a bit of rehab. The two metal chairs were very small.

We loved our stay! The property is in a convenient location and is quiet. The room we stayed in was clearly newly renovated and was super clean. It’s not super cozy, but is spacious and has great beds and pillows. Really everything you need if you’re not planning to hang out in your room. Oh! And there is AC.

I stayed here one night in September of 2022 and enjoyed it, but this time was very different. Booked 2 nights for easy access to RMNP and though the sign outside states it is "newly renovated" we must have gotten a room that wasn't done yet. Poorly decorated, and though the bed was comfortable, there were four tiny, flimsy pillows on the bed. The sheets have seen better days for sure (not even sure if the were clean), the bathroom sink is in the main area with very little space, you had to push the handle on the toilet at least twice for it to flush, and the shower faucet was loose, so when you pulled up on it for the shower, it came away from the tub. We used the microwave and the fuse blew after 30 seconds, the glass on the sliding door to the tiny balcony obviouskh hadnt been cleaned in a bit - it was nothing lije the last visit. Easy access to the park and Bear Lake corridor made it worth it, but wouldnt stay here agin.

We stayed there two weeks ago. I had to book two separately bookings because we decided to stay two nights instead of one. The manager told me I had to go through Expedia and the Expedia told me they would charge me hundreds to change the booking. So I booked it separately. When we arrived no one was in the office. They closed at 6:30 but we were traveling from a distance so arrived passed this point. They texted us our check in information with two dates 6/14 and 6/15. We were happy because it included both nights of our stay. The room was ok but the bathroom was weird and you could see into other peoples bathrooms when you walked around at night. The next day we went to the park and hiked around with our kids. I did not have a signal until later that afternoon when we got to the highest elevation. The manager left messages telling us that our second night was in another room we had to vacate the room. The two dates were checkin and check out dates. But NOTHING indicated that. Because she could not get us she moved our personal belongings without our knowledge. When we got there the manager was rude and yelling at us. Many items such as soap, water flosser, shampoo were thrown in bags with my daughters stuffed animals and my ipad. This was a misunderstanding and we were treated like garbage. We ended up leaving.

Location meets value at this cozy motel just down the road from Rocky Mountain National Park. I stayed in a mountain-view double room and would certainly recommend it. Woke up to a herd of elk chilling just outside my door. Check-in and check-out were hassle free. The staff was professional and friendly.

This is a remodeled property and our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The property outside had a cool road side motel look that had also been updated. We really enjoyed it! Checkin and out was easy and staff seemed helpful. We will definitely look to stay here if back in future. (Not sure about pool or ice, we didn’t have a need for those services.)

The property from outside looks old & out dated but don’t let that fool you - the interior of the rooms have all been renovated and are brand new. The rooms are clean & outstanding with modern furnishings. The best part is you’re the closest property to the Rocky Mountain National Park just 4 min drive to the main Beaver Meadows entrance. Simple right turn on Route 36 and your there. We entered park after dinner around 7PM, drove around and saw tons of wildlife while park was not busy. There are three excellent choices for dinner within walking distance from hotel. Staff super friendly. Strongly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting RMNP.

Convenience to RMNP is top feature, room was clean and staff was nice. This is a 2 star motel built 60 years ago that operator is doing all they can with. It was fine and everything worked and bed was comfortable. Property sits between east/west roadway so you will hear it. Very convenient to park main entrance.

We enjoyed the proximity to Rocky Mountain Natl Park - made it easy to get in before 9:00 AM deadline. The Nest is great for coffee, pastries etc and was a 1 minute walk from our room. Bird & Jim is an excellent restaurant and bar - just next door. It was a relief not to deal with the construction and traffic in downtown Estes every day.

The rooms were pretty basic, but comfortable and clean. Their biggest selling point is the location. It's about one mile from the Beaver Meadows Entrance to RMNP, and right next door to one of the best restaurants in Estes Park - Bird & Jim.

We love this place because it's near the park and there is a small plaza with shopping and dining options across the street. Clean room with nice view of the mountain. I suggest adding a brighter lamp. Current the room is a bit dark even with all the lights turned on.

Very nice room, comfortable bed, quiet surroundings and perfect for proximity to Rocky Mt. Natl Park.....Beaver Meadows entrance 1 mile away Only shortcoming was no Continental breakfast. Stopped at a coffee place,close by, The Birds Nest, thankfully open at 7 am!

Very convenient to park and down town. In the park in 3 to 5 minutes. Scratch sandwich’s were great and Birds Nest good for pizza/coffee. They cleaned the rooms good! Would stay again!

We had been traveling for 2 weeks and happily found the beds and pillows be extremely comfortable and the room, though on the small side, pleasingly decorated in CO style. The Inn’s location just past the busy town and was perfect for entry into Rocky Mtn Park. Fabulous coffee shops were adjacent and just down the street along the river. Next door, Bird and Jim restaurant had wonderful Colorado cuisine. We enjoyed the fire pit and comfy wooden chairs while watching elk graze across l the street! Our tub wasn’t draining well but was promptly fixed upon informing resort staff. Our only complaint was that the floor needed to be washed though it had been swept or vacuumed.
