Okay folks this is a basic hotel at an excellent price for a resort town on Hotels.com. If you want a fancy hotel in Estes Park that costs a fortune go ahead and book that. This hotel is the very closest you can find to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and the views from the property are stellar. It is also across the street from a grocery store with a great deli, ice cream, and coffee as well as a restaurant and a great souvenir shop. If you have issues with the kiosk check in, as many complain about in reviews, don’t whine about it in a review because it just means you are tech-challenged like I am. Just call the phone number provided as I had to and a very nice, patient, nonjudgmental young man will come help you. I watched him help numerous people with check in and he was always kind and patient. We are not poor people and have stayed in plenty of fancy hotels, but we don’t like to waste money on fancy hotel rooms when we could instead spend that money on going to a great restaurant. We were very content at this hotel as the room was very clean and the bed was great, but then we aren’t whiners. We’ll be back.

Next time I stay here, I will request a room on the upper level or one on the single level. Was very noisy with neighbors upstairs. I did not like registering on the kiosk. I like one-on-one experience with a human! Other than that, room was nice, clean, beds were comfy. View was amazing!

Queen bed was very comfortable. Parking spaces were very tight and the size of some vehicles (trucks) make the parking lot impossible to drive in some area. The carpet was not clean, the AC unit was separating from the wall, a glass small bathroom shelf was not anchored into the wall, the tub facet was extremely loose from the tile. Towels were adequate, small fridge was convenient. "Balcony view of mountains" was a bit exaggerated.
