The design and layout of the property was well done. They really address everything - staff was just wonderful and very accommodating. The game room is second to none - free video games like Mario Kart and Pac-man along with board games / pool / foosball and they even had a free shuffleboard table in the dining / bar area!! Gym was in a good location and easy to use. Indoor pool and hot tub were wonderful.

A nice hotel for families. Has an indoor pool and a few fire pits. The exercise room is very small and limited with equipment, but in good quality shape. Rooms are fine. Dining services are not sufficient at all. You need to order uber eats or go to the center of town for meals. A few guests try to smoke in the hallway or outside but the odor filters in your room. Not a bad price for the accommodations and location.

This is a good family hotel option for visiting Estes Park. It’s in a good location, close to downtown but not in downtown. Easy to access the road to RMNP. Near lots of good food. I was able to run to and around Lake Estes easily (5 miles). The hotel itself has been renovated and updated since I first stayed there as a child! The pool and game rooms were big hits with my three children. The room itself was fine. I am shocked that they only have one elevator in the building but somehow that works. I like the added touch of giving us a s’mores kit upon arrival. Will for sure stay here again.

Very clean property. Great place for families. Close to downtown. The only down part is they charge a $20 amenity upon check in. I was told it was for the buffet, which my room fee was supposed to include, and pool. Also pool opens at 11am, the same as checkout, so you can’t get a quick swim in before leaving. Overall great. Will return.

Well maintained and clean. Hiking sticks and binoculars in room for guests to use. Fire pits with free sommores. Free laundry. Delicious food at Latitude 105 restaurant at reasonable price. Free water and coffee. List of area restaurants. Staff was proactive in telling us about amenities. Only negative is pool/hot tub area is poorly lit.

We loved the renovated pool and the complimentary s’mores kit for the fire pits. Some of the updates are fun and great for families, but our a/c was quite loud and some areas require stairs for access. We could walk into town, which was convenient. We were given a room that was already occupied when we first checked in, but the front desk staff was apologetic and upgraded us.

Only stayed for the night. We were going to Rocky Mountain state and it was close to the park entrance. Beware hidden fees. Price was stated $220 after taxes and resort fee it was over $300. We only stayed for about 7 hrs so we could get into the park before there timed entry started for the day. So most expensive nap I’ve taken in a while. Also no elevator which for the price seems unreasonable.

Great experience! Friendly staff, very responsive to requests. Hotel was very clean, as was the room. Breakfast bar was excellent, but the nicest touch was the free S'more kit they gave us at check-in so we could make them at the outdoor firepit area. Very cool!

This hotel is not worth the money. The back door to the hotel did not lock securely. Anyone could come in. The stairs by our room hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. The air conditioning rattled and we had to get maintenance to fix it. The bathroom vent was extremely dirty and dusty. The door that joins rooms did not go all the way to floor which made the room noisy from neighbours. We put a towel there to see if that helped noise. Housecleaning left bags in the garbage expecting guests to put in the garbage. It also took us at least 45 minutes to reach the front desk by phone. We seriously do not recommend the hotel. It was very expensive and extremely disappointing. We would like some compensation for our stay.

The hotel cleanliness was very poor. There was trash in different places and outside the establishment. Also, the binoculars did were not available and the game room has a leak in the roof. The room cleanliness was not adequate as well over dust and trash under the drawers.

The customer service was excellent. The gentleman at the front desk was the best. The bed in the room was one of the best bed we have slept at a hotel. Now for the disappointment part, the wood floors were not very clean. In the bathroom, around the sink and up against the wall was nasty. There was mold in the shower along the tile and tub. The paint was coming off on the lower part of the wall in the bathroom. Pretty much the bathroom was not very clean at all.

Property was in a good location close to everything. The rooms were definitely dated and old there were stains on curtains and mold in the bathroom. The hotel has multiple buildings connected by walkways off part was we stayed on the 3rd floor and they didn’t have an elevator in our building.

The rooms need more lighting. For the price, I was a little disappointed in the room. The mattresses slide all over the bed, the pillows are very hard and pillow case was on inside out. With the shades closed, the room is very dark. The lights hang over the bed and are easy to bump. The coffee pot did not work properly. And there is a $15 amenity fee daily. We didn’t use the pool. So we paid for 1 s'mores bag. Meals and alcohol are very expensive.

We were assigned to the West Wing which was located a ways fron the main building and the amenities. Building is old, no elevator and small rooms. They were clean and adequate for sleeping but the rates in this part of the hotel should be much less than those in the main building.

Terrible sleep! Save your money. Hard pillows, mattress slides off the platform thus creating a shin banger for your leg in the frame. We stayed in a poolside room and got to see strobe lights in our room until 11, and all the noise from the pool making it very hard to sleep with the hard mattress and pillows. Paid 17$ for cold, undercooked breakfast. Features “movie night” at the pool- not true. Played old school cartoons on repeat all weekend. Not sure why the resort fee. Nothing special and poor nights sleep.

The lobby smelled delicious. The facilities were great including the pool which had super cool lights. Unfortunately, we had super loud neighbors. A dog who wouldn’t stop barking, and the neighbor family who screamed at each other at all hours. The walls were too thin!

The staff was great and helpful. We needed to change our room due to the horrible chlorine smell in our original room which was the pool view. DO NOT get any room that is pool view. It’s an indoor pool where there are a few surrounding rooms that take in the ventilation from the chlorine pool. We were up all night due to this stench. Those rooms are also poorly lit so you feel like you’re in a cave. I would also think this would be against code to have people breathing in chlorine in a small room that is ventilated by the pool room. The room we were moved to the next night was great. Well lit, clean, no chlorine smell!

False advertisement for Mountain View rooms. hotels.com booked and reserved a Mountain View. I did not get this. Front desk tells me to contact hotels.com. hotels.com had to try to contact hotel management but got nowhere. I have tried to ask for a small partial refund or my $18 breakfast buffet credited to my account but got nowhere. Pros: rooms were clean and comfortable beds. There is a mini fridge. Hot tub was nice after a long hike. There was also a game room that we did not use but was a nice perk. Overall, the encounters with staff were pleasant besides them not really helping with the non-mountainview room even though my hotels.com reservation clearly says in parentheses Mountain View. Cons: no elevator in the back part of the building. So if you do need an elevator, make sure you call and make sure you can get a room in the new art portion of the building. There is no microwaves in the rooms, but I did hear a staff member tell me that you can request one if needed. They’re $18 buffet for breakfast. I felt was a total rip off as it had your traditional free continental breakfast items that you get at many hotels for free. I’m pretty salty about no Mountain View because this is the reason why I booked this hotel over another one. So I am making it very clear to everyone that if you book through hotels.com do not anticipate that you’ll get a Mountain View even though your reservation says Mountain View. I don’t know who’s fault it is, but that’s false advertisemen

Not a place for me. I need a desk/chair. None here. Desk staff said all rooms are the same. I travel a lot every year. Have never had a room with no desk space. Here they brought me a dining room chair and I cld use 10 inch strip in front of the tv for desk. Room has plenty of empty floor space where a desk would fit. Another thing: after getting into shower, found the shower gel dispenser was empty. Staff gave me chair and shower gel, but these should already be in place. Rented the room for two people, but only one chair in room. Turned out my partner couldn’t come, so no problem. If she had come, guess I would have had to request another chair. Oh, wait, I already have a kitchen chair! Whole setup is ridiculous. If you work while traveling, not the place for you.

The room was clean, the only issue was the noise. The AC and refrigerator were noisy and near my room were also noisy washing machine. It was very noticeable in the evening. The elevator was also smelling weird. The location was nice because it’s easy to walk to the city center.

We couldn’t stay our first night. I contacted the property about that and told them that we would be there in the morning. They apparently rented our room out and wouldn’t let us check in until 4 pm. If we paid for 2 nights shouldn’t we be able to arrive early and not have to wait til 4 pm?

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing.i was keep awake by constant barking from a dog and loud noise from the rooms nearby. To make the things worse, the reception staff were cold and unwelcoming they barely look at me, and didn’t care to ask how my stay was. Costumer service needs serious improvement

The property itself was amazing and had anything we could have needed. The issue we had was arrival/check in. Check in was supposed to begin at 4 PM and upon arrival, we were told there were still no rooms available. We were unable to check in to our room for another 45 minutes, which cut into our time visiting the area. Other than this, we had friendly staff, a clean comfortable room, and loved the 24 hour water and coffee stations

The check in was very disappointing. The front desk did not have my reservation that I made. I even showed them my printed document with the Expedia Confirmation number AND the hotel Confirmation number. They still couldn't find it. The process took 20 minutes and in the end they gave me another room. This must be better.

Jennifer at the front desk is delightful. You will be warmly welcomed and informed of anything you need with her. Feels like a resort with many family friendly activities. Great location in Estes Park and close to RMNP. The Coffee and flavored water bar was a nice amenity. S’mores (free) by the fire at night and free taffy in the reception were fun extras that you don’t find elsewhere. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Clean towels daily were great. Overall a great stay in a beautiful place. We would not Hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Jennifer! You’re an asset to the company!

We enjoyed 3 night stay while my husband and I got married in Estes! The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the bar and grille food and drinks. The breakfast was lacking, especially for being a charge. Nothing more than overcooked sausage and eggs that obviously had been sitting for a while. We also enjoyed the fire pits outside, and were looking forward to using the complimentary smores kits, but in the evenings its nearly impossible to find someone at the main desk. We waited until giving up. I just wish there was a bell or SOMETHING to be able to notify someone to come to the desk. We also tried calling the main lobby number several times for blankets and got no answer. Otherwise great stay!

Clean rooms, amenities. Upon check-in friendly staff, room was clean and up to par. Dinner was excellent with great, friendly service. We paid for breakfast, nothing to brag about, and different to other Holiday Inn properties. Unlike other properties, there was not very many breakfast options to choose from. During breakfast, the 2 staff members upon arrival seemed discombobulated and unorganized. We had to ask for multiple items such as water, coffee, silverware and coffee condiments. We were told two times that they were to serve you, and that we could not serve ourselves. Sadly, we witnessed the tables around us receive the quality of service that we also should have been getting. Upon arrival, the tables were a little dirty had to clean ourselves before sitting.I think we would have been happier eating breakfast somewhere else, with better service and more food options that we know are the standard of other Holiday Inn properties that we have visited. For what we paid for this hotel stay, we clearly felt that the quality versus price was very lopsided and the value was not worth the price. All in all, the hotel property was nice, clean and well maintained and suitable for bringing along our valued pet. The outside fire pits were a nice touch.

This is an older property and it shows. It has a strange configuration. You use one entrance to register and use another entrance to come and go. The second entrance is a poor entrance as it is too small. The breakfast is a joke. Seventeen bucks for a breakfast bar that is free in other hotels. Clearly not worth the money. The only reason to stay here is location to Estes Park. The location is very good. Beyond that there is no good reason to stay there.

Friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable. Fire pits and s’mores kits were a nice touch. Loved the 24/7 fresh complementary Starbucks in the lobby. The breakfast was the only negative. Hot foods were cold and seemed reheated. Not tasty or even appetizing. Aside from the unappealing breakfast, loved our stay and would stay there again.

Breakfast lady that works the weekdays is on her phone the entire time she’s setting out breakfast. And has her phone stuffed in her bra on speaker so we could all hear. Every weekday I was there this happened.

We love this hotel for its indoor pool, hot tub and game room. We stayed two night this time up and we did learn a few things.. 1) the pool is not consistently warm which is a bummer, 2) the attached restaurant is where you can have a buffet breakfast..kids are free but adults pay 17.99 which is absurd, 3) staff don’t communicate super well. We kept getting told different answers to things.
