The staff were pleasant. The bar(s) were not open or functioning. They did provide complementary wine or water, but it’s not the same experience especially if it’s a part of the Expedia package. Also, there is a fee for parking and there is very limited parking spots within the lot. If you move your car, you could likely come back to unavailable spots.

Funky little hotel. Had a snack bar, but it was never open. Nice sundeck, but the bars there were never open. Good housekeeping crew, but they were ultra-noisy in the morning.

The staff is great super friendly and helpful. But the main reason we came to this hotel was for their roof top and bar and being so close to the wall of fame. The roof top bar wasn't open as if it has been operating for months. The furniture was all ripped up and out dated looking nothing like what the pictures depicted.. the room however was nice the bed was okay. The shower had two heads which was great for us ;). The frigerator didn't work but over all of give it a 5 out of 10. The price of the rooms should go down as they don't offer much of anything.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The parking is excellent except a bit pricey for area, $38 per night. Also, it seems to have an awesome rooftop bar but it’s in renovation right now. It will really boost up the hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Great location, felt safe, also convenient parking available. I took a leap on this one after seeing comments about the smell of the cleaners being used, really, how bad could it be? Well, it's bad, actually toxic, as in a caustic like burning aroma. We were only there for one night so we withstood the traumatic assault on our respiratory systems. They must be using cleaners at full strength that are meant to be diluted, or, all of it is to overcome the small of cigarettes, witch we detected in the background. Be warned! Otherwise, the staff was friendly, the beer taps were not flowing sadly, and the bartender did not know how to mix up a moscow mule, with they, they did some research and figured it out! I personally would not stay here again due to the intense toxic chemical volatilization situation.

Bar was never open, stains and cracks all of the walls. Room smelled musty the whole time. Informed the staff we needed to check up a day early and this was 48 hours before that day, they advised they would let the gm know and we would get a refund for it. Tried tk verify that information on the last day, they acted like they knew nothing about it and the manager was never nktifed she said she would ask the manager but she doubted we would get a refund even though we let them know in ample time to get a refund. I asked to get contacted by the manager. And this has been over a day later with still no contact. I hightly doubt we will get our refund that we shluld have easily received had we not been given false information. And icing on top of the cake, after a long day of flying the first night we got in we got some of their complimentary water, after chugging one i looked at the second glass only to notice it looked like a snow globe with mold floating around in it. Mind you there was not fruit or anything in the water where there could have been pulp. Just ice and water, and a ton of mold apparently.

Hotel was in some state of disrepair, a lot of broken elements that had been fixed poorly, door broken on hotel room. Strong smell of urine/amonia throughout the whole hotel, a lot of noise during the night from other guests screaming through the night and vomiting. General area for the hotel was very dirty and plagued with homelessness.

At check in I was introduced to our room as a junior suite far far away from it, it was just a regular room with a tub and shower which needs some major maintenance the tub didn’t hold the water the shower was full of mildew all over the walls

The hotel was fine. Especially for the price and location. But PLEASE bring ear plugs. You can hear the people above you basically breathe. That is how bad it is. Every step. Blaring music. The staff, however, was receptive to our complaints and tried to quiet the other guests down.

The electric window shades that open/close were wired in a horrible way that exposed bare wires against the nylon curtain. Very dangerous. TV would only work for 1 channel. Small room with a bathroom in the corner that is separated by lightly fogged glass. Parking was excessive for what you get.

I had a great stay at The Moment Hotel. It was for a work trip and the service and wifi was good. It was noisy of an evening, my bed was positioned on the wall next to the corridor, therefore I could hear everything, so it was not a good night sleep. My room was clean with fresh sheets and towels every day, but the floor was dirty so I wore socks/slippers. It's a shame you can't check in early without paying a high fee. 4pm check in is quite late.

Definitely over priced, small room, would not cool off, couldn’t move the blinds, the TV would not work. They came and switched out the remote. It was intermittent. Turns out you have to pointed at the corner of the ceiling not at the TV and then still it did not work after that it was stuck on games they came to work on it a couple times, but honestly pretty disappointed in this place check out these blinds. You couldn’t move them. Great view of the garbage can. Kind of like a doctored up motel six save your money go somewhere else.

Staff was great, but room was less than ideal. Thin walls and the glass door and wall around shower made some family members uncomfortable. Tv didn’t work very well either. Loud neighbors. It was fine for the trip but we won’t be back.

The bathroom was not private enough, with frosted glass, you could see through it. Made it uncomfortable for friends to share a room. It was small, good for solo traveler spending little to no time in the room. Front desk was friendly. Parking was easy.

It's a great location if you want to experience Sunset Blvd. and WEHO. I have just a couple of complaints: the automatic blinds did not work in the room, and the bathroom was tiny. When we went the bar was not open due to staffing issues.

Perfect for a last minute overnight. Good distance to a lot of places. Lots of food nearby. Comedy store was a cheap uber away. The area is pretty busy and there’s a level of noise outside the property that is noticeable. The hotel provides earplugs.

The location of this place is convenient and it helps keep costs reasonable. However, the rooms are not quiet. I heard noises from the rooms above, the exit doors, the parking lot, and other random outside noises. This was every single night, which was very frustrating. The room itself was decently clean and the staff was friendly. The bed needed to be replaced or turned. One side of the bed was basically collapsed. This was the first time staying LA in a while so maybe my expectations don’t match up… so take that all with a grain of salt, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

As VIP, was given a free drink for 2, but given a bottle of wine, with no corkscrew. Luckily, only stayed for 2 nights. Wouldn’t stay longer

The hotel experience was very bad. In the first evening, there were many people talking and screaming in the hallways until about 5am, which makes it impossible to sleep. I let the front desk know and they still did not do anything. In the second night, as I went back into the hotel in the evening I saw the front desk person got into a physical altercation with another guest where he punched him and police was called onto the property. It was very terrible and frightening

Arrived early and told that we should be able to check-in at 1530, but if not, 1600 was guaranteed. Arrived back after 1600 but 'guaranteed' room still not ready. In what sense was it guaranteed? And when checking in, I do prefer to be greeted and welcomed, not ignored whilst endless computer inputting goes on. However, once that was sorted out all else was okay, baggage stored for us without fuss and toom was reasonable and clean. Good location, short ride to Hollywood Boulevard and Melrose and about $40 Uber to LAX. Not much in food nearby, Aroma is very close and ok, but would recommend LaLas Argentinian steakhouse on Melrose.

Noisy and staff was indifferent. Not enthusiastic hospitality for sure. Enough to get by. Room was nice enough. Noisy and no sound dampening curtains which would help immensely. This section of Sunset is seedy without a lot of eating options close by.

The most inhospitable arrival. Nobody at reception. After about ten minutes a sullen man came out and didn’t even greet me. Took my card. Told me to get the cart myself and didn’t even stand to guide me to my room leaving me to negotiate my luggage alone (I had a lot). This sullied my stay. The room was dark and a bit worn out but I think if there had been a warm reception I’d have noticed the problems less. A bottle of water in the room would be a nice touch. This is not a boutique hotel. It’s a bit of a dive that looks better in pictures. The staff the next morning was more friendly. I’d never stay here again.

I am a frequent guest at your hotel and I've always loved it because it is conveniently located, the rooms are clean and somewhat modern, and it's overall affordable. That being said, I am ALWAYS feeling a bit on edge when checking in or whenever dealing with front desk reception. In almost all circumstances, your front desk personnel are generally very prickly and they act like they are being put-out by anything you ask them. I have accepted this unfortunate behavior as a returning guest, but my recent situation sort of was a final straw for me. My partner who was staying in my room with me was sick and using our hotel bathroom and I went downstairs to use the bathroom in the hotel lobby. I was told I couldn't use it. It was the reception's personal bathroom and that the hotel has no public bathrooms. Interesting, because I am not the "public." I was a paying guest. I don't think I need to say more about that. What I will tell you is that what was once modern, chic boutique hotel is quickly turning into an undesirable place to stay.

The staff was terrific. Very friendly at check in. Our room had a little trouble with the AC but Katie was quick to accommodate us. We moved into the room next door which was perfect. Great location and very fair price. Would rebook again 😊

The location was great, bed was comfy and the rain shower was wonderful! Unfortunately the deck wasn’t in use but it was easy to walk around from and see the sights in Hollywood. We walked to the Chinese Theatre, Hollywood walk of fame, etc and all the way to Beverley Hills and Rodeo Drive. It’s easy enough to get to a metro station if you want to venture further into downtown. You can also get an uber or they have parking if you drive. Overall we were there for 2 nights and had a great stay. There is a smell of cigarettes or smoke or something musty through the hall ways but the room didn’t seem to have that problem! 😊

Loved the hotel, and its easy walking access to the sights people visit to see, and the hotel is located within easy driving to all parts of LA and Burbank, as well as Rte 5. I love modern style and this hotel is very cool indeed.

The location is great for everything that I need and like to do. My gym is close by, there are numerous restaurants and a large grocery store within a few blocks and numerous laundry services within short distances.

The staff were pleasant. The bar(s) were not open or functioning. They did provide complementary wine or water, but it’s not the same experience especially if it’s a part of the Expedia package. Also, there is a fee for parking and there is very limited parking spots within the lot. If you move your car, you could likely come back to unavailable spots.

Only picked this hotel cause it had a bar in it and i could drink when i come in from my activities. Yea no bar under renovation did not even tell me that before I booked it or a check-in. Parking $35 a day which is cool if would have knew. But other than that room was clean. Had lot of noise all night.

This hotel was ok but very basic. The room was clean and adequate. However the description listed a roof top bar which was not there - when I inquired if we could get some room service drinks instead they said they basically didn’t have any drinks available at all. Staff weren’t rude but weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming either - kind of did the bare minimum and didn’t go out of their way to help us. The location was ok although not great - not that many food or drink venues in walking distance, and the one we wanted to go to was closed so ended up having Dominos in our room on the second night.. the terrace (with no bar) didn’t offer much - just views of the big dirty street below! All in all it was functional and the room was fine but I wouldn’t necessarily return.

The rooftop bar looks appealing in the photos, but it's only open during limited hours and appears to have not much of a food menu. In addition the drink menu is only beer and fixed mixed coctails. There appears to be no wine at this bar. It's not so inviting. The website talks about food and uses the word 'dine' - there's no dining to speak of. I suppose that the rooms are "modern" meaning that they have sharp angles and bright colors in places, but it reads as cheap and slapped together. The air conditioner is a wall unit near the window - that would be just as fitting for a Motel 6. it's loud and when it's on, the air is ice cold. When it's off, the room heats quickly. The cycle of on/off from the air conditioner can be enough to keep you awake. Bummer. The lobby coffee is pretty bad - - worse than say. . duncan donuts and that's saying something. This hotel is in a cental location and that's about the only redeeming thing about it. Pass if you can.
