The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and well done. But, we were very disappointed with the property. It is badly in need of upgrades and total renovation. The elevators were horrible, very slow and noisy. At times we didn't think the elevator was going to make the trip and made us use the stairs. No where close to what we expect from Hilton properties. We love Hampton and try to stay at one every time, but this hotel is old and shows it. It was not worth what I had to pay for the executive suite where the air conditioners did not work properly and left my family hot. I will not stay here again! Not because of the staff, but because of the property!! Please upgrade this place!!

I do not like the parking around this Hampton Inn compared to all the others that I stay at...that said, the parking spaces are too close together realizing this was done to accommodate more vehicles, but makes it very difficult to to exit/enter the vehicle...and there should be at least two more handicap spaces. While the free breakfast is acceptable, it falls a little short from the other Hampton Inn's that I stay at (ie no bacon or grits)...just saying!

Very dirty the carpet in the hallway going to the room was nasty. It should’ve been replaced five years ago. The fixtures in the bathroom had like mold on them where they touch the wall. It was just not clean overall and I felt like where I had to park. My car was a very unsafe place and if I had had to go back to my car at night I would’ve been afraid. The air conditioner or something in that room made a terrible noise all night. The carpet in the room was dirty. It just did not look clean. I was not satisfied at all. It was not up to what I thought. A Hampton Inn should’ve been.

The room had a dirty smell to it, so I actually pulled the a/c filters and as soon as I did, dust/dirt balls started falling out like they hadn't been cleaned in 6 months or so. There was other objects on the floor from a previous stay, so I know it wasn't vacuumed. The toilet was very loose and rocked back and forth. I asked for another room, but was told there wasn't anything available for me, so I checked out and went to another hotel. I was told that I would be fully refunded for the room that I didn't stay in, but that hasn't happened yet and it's been six days. I've tried calling the manager Jim Pappas everyday, but he refuses to return my phone calls.

We stayed 2 different nights,1/.24 and 1/29/23 and neither time did we have hot water for showers, only luke warm. This Hampton needs some upgrades as carpet is old and it is becoming dated in general. Our room on Sunday night smelled like corn chips and wet dog.

Hamptons always have good beds and are relatively clean, even when they are old. However clean, this Hampton just was dingy, the worst I’ve been in. The carpets were stained, the bathroom vanity was very worn and chipped, the shower yellowed, and the chair in the room looked like a chair in your 80 year old grandpas house which stains on the arms. Old and dingy is really the only way to describe. The staff, albeit nice, seemed clueless on their own services. One lady couldn’t tell me if they had a parking garage and we had to go to the front desk to ask for water. No water avalible to purchase or offered to us, even as honors members. The breakfast was sad. This place was hopping though! For a place that seems so popular you would think they would put some money into updating their services and aesthetics

The property needs updating. Wallpaper separating in hallway, dirt in the corners in bathroom, old lamps with cracked shades and few plugins for devices, hairdryer broken. Sheets clean and bed comfortable. Bonus of small balcony facing the bay. Great view on west side. All in all would be a great place if needed updates were done.

Very convenient location. Nice staff. Room was decent in size. Updates are needed. Stayed fir the weekend and my room was never touched. No one entered to empty trash, replenish towels, soap, or to just check and service the room. When asked why, I was told i needed to request the services because they were still operating on Covid protocols. Disappointed because this wasn't communicated and neither is it posted during booking.

We had a bay view with a small balcony. It was a beautiful view. Swampy immediately and then the bay out past that. Watched the birds fly around. The bed was too hard for me. But softer than some other hotels. All the hotels have gone to these uncomfortable FIRM mattresses because the last longer. Everything else was good.

Staff were very nice, Kathy checked me in and suggested Beudreux Cajun restaurant and it was excellent choice for food! Breakfast had a variety of options, Monday bfast my fav, they finally had bacon! Room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, with the view of Mobile bay! And close to everything! Will definitely come back!

At first things seemed ok, staff was friendly (so we thought), room was clean but had an odd smell, balcony furniture was dirty and broken as well as the door to the balcony was also broken. Here\'s the kicker..less than an hour before we checked out a $50 and $60 separate charge were made to my account. I called to see why, and was told that we were "smoking cigarettes" in the room?? False. We don\'t even smoke cigarettes. It\'s very upsetting considering we already paid almost $150 for one night, made sure our room was tidy, even went as far as to leave the housekeeper a tip. I left a message with the manager and was never called back. So beware for false charges made to your account. Definitely won\'t be staying again.

Hotel under renovation not mentioned. Had to have my room key reprogrammed three different times front desk clerks seem very bothered by each time I ask her to reprogram it. Another hotel guest was telling me they had to have their hotel room key reprogram along with changing rooms because their room was not clean.

Me and my wife’s stay at The Hampton Inn was great. The lady working behind the desk was very friendly when we checked in. She even baked chocolate chip cookies for the people checking in which were delicious. Our room was very nice and very clean. Everything was stocked up in the bathroom. The bathroom was big. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were amazing. We stayed 2 days. The buffet breakfast each day was different but delicious. The person working in there was very nice ad friendly. We had the balcony view which was beautiful. I recommend this place for sure.

I had a few problems, like: - I did the check-in online (Hilton Honors) including choosing a room and when I arrived the front desk just change the room and put me in a different one without even telling me why she did that (I definitely didn't like that at all). Next morning I was filling my big jug of water, and the lady didn't let me do it, saying that I had to use the small cups to fill it up. Just to be clear, it's an igloo 1 gallon jug with an opening of 6 inches to put water, so would no touch the dispenser at all in case that was her concern. The showerhead was broken - I couldn't adjust the water flow. I had to settle for a poor water flow. I'm not sure if I would recommend, though!

I made a reservation for Friday night and Saturday night. Friday night went OK but once I came back Saturday afternoon to get into the hotel, they informed me that I did not have a Saturday night reservation even though I paid for both nights. I have stayed here many times and the experience always get better. The staff is SUPER friendly. Every single staff member that i came in contact with was outgoing and personable and genuine. They all seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Whoever hires for this location, GREAT JOB!

Very dirty the carpet in the hallway going to the room was nasty. It should’ve been replaced five years ago. The fixtures in the bathroom had like mold on them where they touch the wall. It was just not clean overall and I felt like where I had to park. My car was a very unsafe place and if I had had to go back to my car at night I would’ve been afraid. The air conditioner or something in that room made a terrible noise all night. The carpet in the room was dirty. It just did not look clean. I was not satisfied at all. It was not up to what I thought. A Hampton Inn should’ve been.

Nice place in a great location right off the bay. If you’re lucky enough to get a balcony room, you will have a beautiful view of the bay. Rooms were in decent condition. Would stay here again.

Whether you are driving from Texas to Florida and need a convenient, comfortable, and clean hotel for the night, or you staying locally for a few days, this is the perfect hotel. Just off I-10 with numerous local restaurants close-by, and it’s an easy drive to downtown Mobile and area beaches. We love and highly recommended this hotel!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was in a good spot for where I was working. There's a very cool set of trails and wildlife pretty much right on the property which was a highlight of my visit.

Staff were very nice, Kathy checked me in and suggested Beudreux Cajun restaurant and it was excellent choice for food! Breakfast had a variety of options, Monday bfast my fav, they finally had bacon! Room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, with the view of Mobile bay! And close to everything! Will definitely come back!

Me and my wife’s stay at The Hampton Inn was great. The lady working behind the desk was very friendly when we checked in. She even baked chocolate chip cookies for the people checking in which were delicious. Our room was very nice and very clean. Everything was stocked up in the bathroom. The bathroom was big. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were amazing. We stayed 2 days. The buffet breakfast each day was different but delicious. The person working in there was very nice ad friendly. We had the balcony view which was beautiful. I recommend this place for sure.
