The staffs are great and room is very clean. It was quite comfortable to stay here! The location is also great that we can walk around to the river, cafe and souvenir shop. The elevator was a bit slow but acceptable. I would stay here again when I return to Fairbanks.

Parking is limited and the homeless population around first made me nervous walking from the overflow lot. Otherwise the hotel is great. Maybe offering a valet service so patrons don’t have to walk by the homeless

It’s a very busy hotel, even as tourist season is winding down. We had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get checked in. There are many places within walking distance which is nice, because parking is difficult and not easily found. The hotel breakfast seemed nice, but even first thing it was too crowed to eat there. The room was average and for the money you pay to stay here, I expected a little more.

Fantastic staff! Very clean! We arrived very late and had such an easy arrival…I called the hotel for a shuttle from the airport and it arrived in 15 minutes just like they said. A 10 minute ride to the hotel and then an easy, quick check in. The room was very clean. The continental breakfast was great…egg and sausage muffins, yogurt, different breads/bagels for toasting, many toppings for the oatmeal. Good selection of juices and cereals. They even had oat milk and gluten-free muffins for those with food allergies. This is a great spot to stay in Fairbanks! My 2 suggestions for improvement are that they need better pillows and the heat in the room was a little too high and didn’t seem to be adjustable…we turned the heat down, but it didn’t change the temperature. All said and done, we’d happily stay here again!

The rooms were big . The entire hotel smelled fresh. We had the perfect view. Breakfast was decent. Front desk was helpful. Great location. Overall our stay there was great and I would definitely stay again.

The room was ample and clean. The staff for the most part were very friendly and accommodating. The daily breakfast was very welcome, considering the generally high price of restaurant food in Fairbanks as elsewhere. The location of the facility, in the old downtown area, is convenient to some of the local restaurants, which is a plus. They also provide a free hourly shuttle service to a number of places in town. Another plus is the photo souvenir shop in the lobby, which is operated by a local photographer who has a multitude of prints of wildlife and scenes in a variety of forms from refrigerator magnets to metal 8x10 wall prints. We used the Springhill as a base for a week long trip that focused on seeing the aurora borealis and got more than we bargained for.

I wouldve Given 5 starts but the room smelled like dog food. We ignored it because it was the end of our trip and we were all tired but then I stepped On kibble and found 5 more on the carpet. There was dog hair in the bathroom. I already hate the idea of sharing a room with someone’s pet but at least they clean…..or I thought!! Please have pet rooms and people only rooms! Other than that it was a great hotel with a pretty view of the river and a great location. Staff was super friendly and parking is easy.

I wish we could have stayed in Fairbanks for more than 1 night. I would stay at this property again. The room was quite nice and large with the small kitchenette area and living space. I loved it! I didn't use any of the amenties but staff was friendly and they had a nice little convenient store located in the lobby which came in great use! The breakfast in the morning was nice. Was just glad to get some fresh fruits as being on the road was just full of proteins and carbs. Yikes! I would have marked it a 5 star, however, the property was undergoing renovations so some areas looked a little "sketchy". In no way would I say though that it was ever too noisy in regard to construction or that anything in the room needed repairs! The water pressure was nice!

the hotel is located in the downtown area, it's an older part of town so not many stores are nearby other than smaller gift store types of shops. Located about two miles away are larger stores - Walmart and grocery stores. There are a few restaurants within walking distance that were good. The hotel rooms are nice with kitchenette and there is a pool, jacuzzi and small workout room on the premises.

Nice room with a comfortable clean bed. Breakfast food was of good quality. Kaitlynn was a hard working young lady we saw during breakfast service for three days. She worked with smiles on her beautiful face. Nice thing to see. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Eddy who drove the shuttle was very courteous and helpful. We had a great time staying there. Will be back.

Expedia says checkout @12, the hotel said it was 11:30. When asking for a late checkout the front clerk bluntly said she can’t do that for me and I had to figure out myself that if I became a rewards member for free I COULD have a late checkout. Rude of her not to tell me and a crappy hotel policy to force a rewards sign up for a late checkout.

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning experience I had during my recent stay at the Fairbanks SpringHill Suites. Unfortunately, I encountered an employee whose behavior was notably disrespectful. This experience was both unexpected and disappointing, as it did not align with the high standards of hospitality I have come to expect from Marriott properties. I believe all guests deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect. Property was centrally located in the downtown area of Fairbanks, restaurants were walkable. Hotel was clean. AC didn’t work as well as we would have wanted but who would have thought you would need ac in Alaska. Didn’t realize the homeless population was that bad, but they did a good job of keeping them out of the hotel.
