The hotel was pretty clean overall just outdated. The rooms need to be updated and worked on. There were holes that were patched up with just tissue paper. I need the laundry services and online it says 24 hour access but they’re actually only open from 7 am - 9pm. My kids had a soccer tournament and we didn’t get to the hotel until 8:45 pm and their following game was at 8 am so I didn’t have time to use it

Breakfast was mediocre, but edible. It was a great place for the quality of the hotel. The place seems newer or remodeled. The staff was helpful. I rated it low for cleanliness due to the fact they put all the clean sheets in the floor in the hallway outside of the rooms that they plan to change the linens on. I don’t wear shoes in my home and to think I slept in a bed where the sheets were first laying in the hallway floor is disgusting.

Front desk person couldn’t have been less enthusiastic or interested in her guests. Not rude but soooo annoyed by the inconvenience of having her reading interrupted by customers. The room carpet was filthy and sticky. Gross. The main level bathrooms are super clean but zero soap. Both days. No one bothered to even check or fill them. The room was clean but the freeway side is very noisy. Definitely won’t stay here again. Oh the breakfast was abysmal. And the coffee impassible to drink.

I’ve stayed at the Sweetwater Lodge many times for work. Because of my great experiences I decided to stay there with my family on a trip through the area. I’ve only ever had a room on the 3rd floor before, booked through Expedia, and this time having a whole family, needed a second bed and those rooms are on the 1st floor. The road noise and noise from the hallway and rooms above and the cleanliness and condition of the room was not great. Specific examples, the headboards and like drink stand with a second fridge were cream faux leather wrapped and looks like cats had made them all scratching posts. And they just looked tired and not the cleanest. The trim in the hallway was damaged in several places, like chunks missing/hanging and worst of all was my 1 year old found something that was gummy/squishy on the carpet and I had to fish it out of his mouth quickly. Finally there were 2 used contact lenses on top of the soap dispensers in the shower. The room appeared to have been cleaned but these were some bad misses. I’m not a hotel snob by any means, and I’ve truly loved every other experience at this property, but I would recommend to all to pay attention to the room you’re reserving and if it has the faux leather furniture in it, book one that has the wood only furniture. And for the property manager, I’m sorry for the negative review, but the night and day difference of your rooms and the 2 cleaning misses were not good, especially with my family traveling with me.

The breakfast menu was fresh. It was good They had scrambled eggs biscuits and gravy. The gravy was really tasty. They had donuts, coffee, orange juice, cereal, waffles The hotel was really clean. The rooms were clean a little tight to walk around. The beds were terrible. I could not sleep in that hotel again I mean the beds were terrible. I wouldn’t recommend that hotel to anybody unless they changed the beds.

This property is older but very clean. The furniture in room is outdated and not comfortable. I was in a king room. The lightening was very poor. When asked for more they thought it was caused by smaller windows. I disagree. Lamps or ceiling lights could easily fix it. None available. But very clean.

Nightstand lamp had a short. Took it to the front desk for a replacement, but woman said I wasn’t turning the switch hard enough. I finally got it lit, but it turned off again. This time I called & was told again I wasn’t turning the switch hard enough & I should have my husband help me. Seriously. I said it just wasn’t working. She said we could switch rooms. I said let’s borrow a lamp from that other room instead. She said we couldn’t, we just needed to move, because then she could clean our current room if we traded & resell it for that night. Crazy, huh? So switch rooms or deal with no lamp. We’d unpacked so we stayed. Next morning I took the lamp back to the front desk so they’d know they needed to fix it. Worker said they’d give me a refund because of the problem, even though I hadn’t asked. Nice. She came toward me with it, but then left. Returned with less. Bizarre. She said that made her cash reserve too low, but then she left again & returned with right amt. Housekeepers were there waiting for her, so I conveniently gave each a tip from the refund. On our way out, new desk guy scolds me for “disrespecting him” by giving the “hotel’s” money to housekeepers. I said it was my money & my choice. Then he changed story: it was ok to leave it in the room, but not to give it there. Bottom line, every chance staff had to create a positive experience they made it negative, topping it off with a hostile exchange on our way out. Why on earth would we want to return?

We followed all rules and gave 48hrs notice for needing to check out early. The hotel and management is very unfriendly and did not stand by their word which was that it would be no problem, they did not give the full refund for days needed.

We checked in tween 6-6:30 and there was no one at the front desk. Sign said to ring the bell- which turned out to be a little electronic gizmo with a bell outlined on it. Someone finally showed up. Everything went smoothly from there on

The property is right next to the highway and is so loud. When I asked the staff to switch a room in the near empty hotel to one away from the highway side of the building, i was told that was not possible and suggested that i just turn the tv up to combate the highway noise. We got stuck in town due to our vehicle trouble and it was such a relief to have a good hotel experience after breaking down on the side of the road! The customer service was excellent! Check in was easy and the associate was friendly, offered recommendations for shopping close by, and even provided a toothbrush. The free breakfast was nice to have, and again the service was wonderful. I notified the front desk that I had taken the last coffee cup, and they were replenished quickly. I asked for a late check out due to waiting on our vehicle repair, and the associate at the desk was understanding and accommodating. I wouldn't want to have been stuck anywhere else. You provided a much appreciated respite in the middle of a stressful situation. Thank you!

Convenient location and close to shopping. The staff was pleasant and check-in was quick and easy. The bed was comfortable and room was spacious and clean. There was a huge TV in the room which my husband enjoyed. Room was quiet being on the front of the hotel away from freeway noise. The complimentary 2 bottles of water were appreciated. The shower had great water pressure. The only improvements regard the continental breakfast. Sausage gravy was offered without anything to put it on. Biscuits or hashbrowns would have been nice. The bacon was a strange unappetizing pale color. The dairy refrigerator was empty with no yogurt, milk or hard boiled eggs. We had breakfast elsewhere. Check-out was easy.

They were oiling parking lot when we arrived at very beat up looking property. The room was outdated window damaged and old curtains that pretty much covered the AC unit. Sheets and comforter not good quality. Breakfast was very lomited orange juice was fruit drink, coffee horrible, stale donuts, no meat to go with eggs very little to choose from for tst etc....just bad all around.
