Drury Plaza Hotel Chattanooga Hamilton Place

This is a nice hotel with excellent employees. The only thing that was a negative was the elevator(s) being out of service.

The hotel is fairly new and makes for a great place to stay. The fitness room isn't large but has everything you need to build muscle or do your daily cardio.

We checked in near 6:30pm & the man checking us in told us to not bring in our belongings because they had free dinner available & it was going to close soon. Food was great & included in our stay. The hotel is super clean, pool & hot tub are nice too. The room was nice, everything was clean & the bathroom was a larger size than normal. We stay at Drury Inns often so this was an nice update. However, our ONLY complaint was that out of the 3 elevators only 1 was working so there was constantly a line waiting for the elevator. The rolling luggage carts are shaped a little smaller than others so we had to make 2 trips to the car (not a big deal at all but worth mentioning to plan trips). We are a family of 4 plus 2 dogs. Everything was comfy and the room floor was large enough to put up our pop-up crate. After getting dinner & settling into the room my husband & son went down to get us waters & some complimentary popcorn. When they were in line to go on the elevator (with the employee who had checked us in) one of the other elevators opened and started taking people. When It returned the employee, my son & hubby all got on. The elevator started to go to the 2nd floor & then stopped. They got stuck in the elevator for 35-45 minutes. Firetruck came out & removed them all. Everyone was safe & we laughed & made the best of it. (I mean, at least they had waters and popcorn lol) The hotel really compensated us for this & apologized. Breakfast was great too. We will return for sure.

The restaurant and bar had delicious foid and service. The breakfast was great. A variety of items was a nice change from other hotels. The pool was very clean and water warm. The front desk clerk was very friendly and kind

A+++ for staff friendliness and cleanliness. Hotel is brand new as of Oct 2024. Hot breakfast and dinners make it an unbeatable value. A couple of design flaws though that may be concerning depending on your needs: our room had a beautiful modern walk in shower, but that might be a problem for someone with small kids wanting a tub. My kids were disappointed with the pool. They thought it was too small. (It was only 4 ft deep and nothing like the large indoor/outdoor combo pools at the other Drury Inns where we have stayed.) We planned on spending a lot of down time at the pool, but the kids weren't really excited about it this time. If I had known, i probably would have cut the trip a day shorter.

Super clean, every part. And SUPER quiet. Beautifully decorated to highlight the area. The complimentary dinner and breakfast were delicious. The pool and whirlpool were very relaxing. The staff was welcoming and very attentive

Had a very nice day. Enjoyed the free meals and drinks. Very easy to park. All the staff was very friendly. The elevators were very fast. Never had to wait very long at all if any to ride the elevator to the 8th floor. Very nice rooms. Very well kept. Love the shower

It looks like this is a new hotel. Very clean, i never give a rating of 10 but this one deserves it. I just hope it stays this way and will not get run down like other establishments. It would be a shame. There are very few hotels that are worth their ratings these days.

Everything was nice and clean and fresh upon our arrival. The only thing was there were no trashbags in our trashcans but thats not a huge deal. The bathroom was exceptionally clean.

What we noticed first was the friendliness of the staff. Our room was absolutely lovely, with lots of space, beautiful marble top counters in the bathroom, the room curtains securely blocked the light. All of the amenities were in place. Parking was well-lighted and sufficient. Rarely are we as well satisfied as we were at this hotel.

The stay was nice. It was quiet and everything accessible. The only thing I wish I had known sooner is that Drury doesn’t have streaming apps. This weekend was a getaway to relax from our busy working lives and kids etc. we purposely planned a weekend in a hotel and the money spent for it was our holiday splurge. We only planned one other dinner event other wise we planned to just relax and watch movies together as a couple. Luckily my husband had his laptop but the amount we paid for the room you’d think we could access streaming apps and even use our own streaming accounts we pay for. Otherwise the stay was nice. If you have a busy weekend planned it works for a place to sleep, has a pool and breakfast was included.

The breakfast and dinner buffet was amazing! The indoor pool area was a bit warm, but after getting in the pool your body temperature starts to level off. The only thing is the room itself was a bit warm. It takes a minute for the AC to cool the rooms. Other than that everything was wonderful. I would definitely stay there again.

No place to hang clothes no dressers. Living out of a suitcase is inconvenient. Breakfast not so healthy. Eggs, sausage buiscts and gravey. Coffee all day good. Highway construction near hotel.

My family and I had a good stay. Complimentary dinner was a nice surprise. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The one downfall for me was there were no dressers or closets at all. This meant living out of our suitcases for close to a week. Very inconvenient and uncomfortable - especially considering the preview room photographs show dressers.

Very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and attentive. Only problem we had was the key cards. They kept wearing out and had to get them re- keyed a couple times. But front desk lady came to the room to check the door reader.

This, is the perfect hotel. Every business and employee should follow Drury's business model and pledge. First off, one would think that Gordon was the owner. I've never encountered a more committed employee who was as helpful, kind and professional than he at check in.. My family just got off of a 10 hour drive and Gordon could not have been more helpful and pleasent. He treated us like family! Our rooms were spotless, quiet and comfortable. The kickback at 5:30 was amazing, every employee was smiling, personable and attentive. Gordon must have trained them all!! The food and beverages were awesome with plenty of variety. The hot tub and pool were a bonus, just what the doctor ordered after a long day in a car. Breakfast was also amazing! A great hotel, l wish there were more Drury Inns around! Cant wait for our next stay!

The staff at Drury Plaza is amazing!!! By far, the friendliest and most helpful hospitality staff I've ever experienced. My friends and I were greeted with enthusiasm and provided with guest welcome bags. Also, I've never been in a hotel that offers complimentary dinner, snacks, and adult beverages! There is an atmosphere of community and fellowship, and I know that's because of the staff and culture of the hotel.

We had a wonderful time at this location. The staff was superb. Check-in was a delight, thanks to Gordon. He upgraded our room since it was our wedding anniversary trip. The breakfast was amazing, the bar and staff were great and the 5:30 dinner and drinks were exceptional. Highest marks for this stay!

The hotel was great! We did get some greif from an older women at check in for booking through a third party booking site which made us feel not very welcome. Overall the hotel is amazing clean and all the other staff was great.

The Drury always provides a upstanding hotel experience. That has never changed. However, we were very disappointed with the "carnival" atmosphere for happy hour. (Drury's dinner offerings). We witness many people driving up to the hotel at 5:30 to come in and eat and leave. They were NOT hotel guests. We felt very uncomfortable watching and experiencing this theft. Our safety was a bit compromised. I went to the front desk to express by observations and they were quickly dismissed. Was told I didn't see what I saw. Not cool. The next morning at breakfast, we watched the same behavior. We told the front desk again and the same dismissive attitude. They did say they would let management know. After leaving, I received a call from the manager confirming everything we said after she watched video footage. They will look into it and appreciated the feedback. They also said they were going to retrain the staff on guests concerns and how to respond. For us, we stay at Drury hotels all over for the services they provide, but until the address the locals stealing services from the hotel, we will not be staying here again. I will follow up and ask about these specific concerns. Safety is a big concern for a hotel and when the thieves are running rampant, it makes for a very uncomfortable stay.

Drury would not allow check-in without a Drury confirmation number. The confirmation number from Hotels.com is not accepted. They allowed a check-in after paying for the room twice. Victoria at the front desk was not helpful to resolve the confirmation number dilemma.

This is a brand new hotel, spotlessly clean and with great customer service. Right off the I-75 with plenty of restaurants close by.

A beautiful new property. It is set in a retail area. The rooms are amazing, comfortable beds. The public areas are very nice, lots of seating for breakfast and, happy hour. It was not very convenient to the downtown area where we did most of our sightseeing. The traffic was hectic.

Close to mall. Easy access from interstate.

Quick overnight family stay with our two kids. Indoor pool and hot tub were very nice. 3 free drinks for adults was a nice surprise. Great location with tons of food and entertainment close-by and only 15 minutes to downtown. Would stay here again for sure.

This hotel was great. Near the mall and a lots of choices of places to eat. The room was clean the beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean and had great water pressure. We enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely stay again.

I just wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts about our recent stay at your hotel. First and foremost, the rooms were impressively clean and modern, and the quality of the soap and shampoo exceeded our expectations—something we don’t often experience during our travels. What truly stood out, however, was the unexpected generosity of being offered vouchers for three hard drinks each for my wife and me. On top of that, the complimentary drinks at dinner and the delicious complimentary breakfast made our stay even more memorable. This level of hospitality left a lasting impression, and we’re already looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Albani was a very pleasant lady that welcomed me warmly and was very informative about the hotel. The buffet dinner and breakfast along with complimentary drinks were nice surprise. The man making the complimentary drinks was very nice but did not get his name. The hotel was very clean and I felt very safe as a small woman with a child. The pool was clean and hot tub was very nice. I would definitely stay here again especially being my first time at a Drury.

Loved the kickback and happy hour in the evening and the best free hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Pool area was nice and clean.

I love the spacious room and the location was very convenient for shopping and restaurants. The kickback options I wish were a little better. I stayed several days and had tacos two different nights. But overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely prefer to stay at any Drury versus other hotel chains.

Breakfast was the best feature about this hotel - truly the best complimentary breakfast I've had at a hotel. The manager's happy hour was from 5:30-7:30PM - we missed it by 20 minutes. Although the front desk said the bar may have some popcorn for the kids AND the bar said the front desk may have some popcorn for the kids, neither had any more popcorn. There is a kitchen and bar on the first floor for guests, and the menu looked great. It was very expensive though The room was very clean - only complaint was not enough outlets, especially near the

The hotel was very nice. The only complaint I have is that there was no hot breakfast. There was nothing in the warmers at all (except water.) I was looking forward to giving my kids better quality than they’re used to as far as hotel breakfasts, but was disappointed to be honest. It was the same as a lower quality hotel since there was absolutely no hot food.
