Parking was .3mile away from the Lodge, I walked 1.2 miles before I actually got into the room. Eventually I was was reluctantly allowed to park closer. The venue was the only redeeming factor.

We stayed two nights. The view of the cricket ground is great from the room. We had to park in car park F as there was a rugby match on (check Leeds Rhino fixtures as well as Headingly stadium if you are staying and concerned about the car parking). We were allowed to drop our bags off at the hotel before parking in car park F. It is a 5 minute walk. There is a cafe opposite the stadium called the Ugly Mugs where you can get a breakfast or sandwich for lunch. The main high street for Headingly is only a 8 minute walk away with a lot of restaurants. There were a few maintenance isses with our room that we had to report, but otherwise it was a good stay for what we needed. We are going back for one night next month as well. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful. The TV could have a few more channels programmed into it as most were 'no signal'. The wifi is good though. The shower is a bit weak in pressure and omly has a rain showerhead which means it hard to prevent your hair getting wet if you dont want it to. The room was a good size and plenty of space to move around. A kettle with tea and coffee was provided (rather than a coffee machine) which we liked.

The Lodge was very convenient to where we wanted to be. The reception staff was really pleasant and helpful. The room was a pleasant surprise. A good size with ensuite and with a wonderful kingsize bed (which was really comfortable) and a quite stunning view of the cricket ground. We both had a really good night's sleep . The only downside was the absence of breakfast but, then again, Headingley has plenty of coffee shops to choose from. There was ample parking (being out of season) and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely friendly welcome and during our stay. Room very spacious with a great view of the cricket pitch, none on while we were there and no access to the stands from the room. Brilliant location for Leeds with buses running very close. Could do with some more storage in the bathroom and guess it could be noisy when busy as people were obviously in the room next door for our second night and we could hear them quite well. Not much to be done about the planes directly overhead at times, but didn’t affect us too much. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if no cricket on as parking wouldn’t be quite so convenient with spectators parking as well.

Not great definitely not 4 star. Needs a refresh carpets all dirty, scuffs on walls furniture in room terrible tv reception only 5 channels no volume on bbc1. Took 10 minutes to get any hot water from the shower. No food no drinks. Not what i expected awful value. The only plus was mick in the carpark . Definitely will.not stay again and would not recommend.

Great room with view of pitch. The bed was was two singles pushed together and the bed was too firm for my liking. A little more attention to detail when cleaning is required, as the skirting board in my room had months worth of dust built up on it. Overall a nice enough place to stay

Easy parking included in stay, swift check in with some added local advice on local eateries. Room was large, clean & comfortable with an excellent new & modern bathroom with walk in shower. Stunning views of cricket ground with tea, coffee, fridge etc. Only negative was the temperature of the room - it was very hot from the large picture window. A room fan was supplied but this sent enough to impact the temp sadly. Completely understand desire to showcase the ‘view’ but perhaps housekeeping could consider closing the curtains to manage the temperatures.

Complete view of cricket pitch although not able to open door to terrace (H&S reasons). We were very concerned about ceiling tiles - they were continually lifting and then dropping loudly back into place. Apparently a feature of all rooms on floor 3 so would suggest you ask for a lower floor. Acceptable continental breakfast.

Big room and bed with good shower but dated. Blood on the door frame in the bathroom. Staff were great and friendly. Room had big window overlooking the cricket pitch and was really hot. No ac so had to have the fan on constantly!

Following three failed attempts to check in on arrival due to an unmanned desk, the rest of the stay was excellent, mostly down to the wonderful Sunny whom ensured our stay was comfortable and with plenty of supplies due to the weather conditions. The only downside was a faulty light in our room which constantly flashed on and off during the night which disturbed our sleep a little. We reported it twice, hoping for repair or a change of room but it was a weekend so no maintenance was available and the hotel was fully booked so no other room was available.

Overall a really comfy and pleasant stay but a fire alarm at 8am on the Saturday morning left us with a negative impression. The alarm itself was annoying (but safety is safety) but the reaction of staff was disappointing as they didn't offer any kind of apology or explanation for the inconvenience to everyone who'd evacuated the building for what was obviously a false alarm. We'd had nothing but good service until then so would have expected something a little more personal than 'you can all go back in now'.

Lovely friendly welcome and during our stay. Room very spacious with a great view of the cricket pitch, none on while we were there and no access to the stands from the room. Brilliant location for Leeds with buses running very close. Could do with some more storage in the bathroom and guess it could be noisy when busy as people were obviously in the room next door for our second night and we could hear them quite well. Not much to be done about the planes directly overhead at times, but didn’t affect us too much. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if no cricket on as parking wouldn’t be quite so convenient with spectators parking as well.

We stayed two nights. The view of the cricket ground is great from the room. We had to park in car park F as there was a rugby match on (check Leeds Rhino fixtures as well as Headingly stadium if you are staying and concerned about the car parking). We were allowed to drop our bags off at the hotel before parking in car park F. It is a 5 minute walk. There is a cafe opposite the stadium called the Ugly Mugs where you can get a breakfast or sandwich for lunch. The main high street for Headingly is only a 8 minute walk away with a lot of restaurants. There were a few maintenance isses with our room that we had to report, but otherwise it was a good stay for what we needed. We are going back for one night next month as well. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful. The TV could have a few more channels programmed into it as most were 'no signal'. The wifi is good though. The shower is a bit weak in pressure and omly has a rain showerhead which means it hard to prevent your hair getting wet if you dont want it to. The room was a good size and plenty of space to move around. A kettle with tea and coffee was provided (rather than a coffee machine) which we liked.

The room itself was a nice clean comfortable room with plenty of space, the lodge itself was a bit inpersonable, didn’t really feel like a hotel, but it served its purpose, which was was we wanted. It’s a shame the only breakfast option was a limitied one, with just cereal, pastries or toast and tea or coffee and a carton of fruit juice, which at £6:50 seemed a little overpriced.

The Lodge was very convenient to where we wanted to be. The reception staff was really pleasant and helpful. The room was a pleasant surprise. A good size with ensuite and with a wonderful kingsize bed (which was really comfortable) and a quite stunning view of the cricket ground. We both had a really good night's sleep . The only downside was the absence of breakfast but, then again, Headingley has plenty of coffee shops to choose from. There was ample parking (being out of season) and we would definitely stay here again.

Headingly cricket ground is not far from Leeds and Bradford airport which isn’t their fault necessarily but not properly sound proofing the rooms is. The Breakfast was terrible value for money also. As a cricket fan it was something to stay there but as a hotel guest it was distinctly average.
