Es un hotel práctico para estar en el centro de Santo Domingo. Si ocupa remodelación y mejoras. Para ir al gimnasio hay que salir del edificio y solo está disponible hasta las 8, lo cual no es práctico para ua persona en un viaje de negocios que llega a hotel pasadas las 7. La piscina es bonita pero venden pases de día por lo que se llena de niños. Si no van a estar mucho en la habitación y no piensan usar las instalaciones es una buena opción para estar cerca del centro. El personal si es muy amable

Elevator wasnt working for 3 days which was a pain. MOst of staff was very good. In particular during breakfast SARA was amazing . Had issues with they keys not working several times during my stay.

Room was very clean however I believe the organization needs make sure the smell of the rooms smell just as good as the hallway.. this is not on housekeeping at all because they made shire the rooms are clean .. it’s the smell of mildew that needs to be addressed in the room

No limpiaron mi habitacion dos dias seguidos. Ni toallas, no amenidades. Los dos dias les indique que salia de la habitacion y que la podian limpiar, y no lo hicieron. Por las mañanas al salir a desayunar pongo en la puerta el letrero de no molestar, al regresar me alisto y salgo de la habitacion temprano, quitando el letrero de no molestar. El segundo dia se atrevieron a decirme que no la limpiaron porque estaba puesto el letrero de no molestar. Para eso me mostraron una fotografia de la puerta con el letrero de no molestar puesto. Les pedi que me mostraran la fecha y la hora de la fotografia y, no quisieron hacerlo. Las dos veces les avise que estaba lista la habitacion para la limpieza, les mostre que ya habia quitado el letrero de no molestar. Y, aun asi intentaron esa jugarreta, que es de hotel de una estrella, eso no se hace en un hotel que cobra lo que me cobraron.

I had known that location for more than 40 years, and I recall when it was called Hotel Lina. Walking into the lobby, it felt like entering a well-maintained old mansion that had once enjoyed its glory days, and even after the years, everyone respected it. The bed and AC were terrific, and the cleanliness of the hallways and rooms was excellent. My only comment is that the furniture remains from the 1980s and 1990s style, and that brings back many memories of how the city used to look.

The property was nice in the lobby and rooms were average. Paid for premium services and was denied services as I had my teenager with me and they did not all children in the premium area even though they charged me for an adult fee for him. Room check-in was late. With premium mini bar was at a cost and they charges a service fee. Rooms were near the highway, so very loud. Was on the 9th floor and still can hear loud music and honking all night. Staff did not care about any complaints shared and even told Me I did not pay for premium. Food was paid for as well and we were no told the price before we ate. Only good thing was that it was near estadio Olympico about a 20 min walk over the bridge.

The rooms on the front and street sides are very noisy. I arrived around 5 am, went to sleep around 6 am, and got woken up by the noise from the street! The second day, I was woken up by the noise from the street around 7 am again.

I rented two rooms in the premium floors however after I received my room the toilet was clogged I immediately called because I had to go to an event. The service never resolved the issue. After returning to the hotel at 1:20am I called reception informing them that not only did my room have an issue the second room shower was also clogged. They said someone will come up ASAP. I waited until 2:30am and called again only to wait for an employee to enter the room and state I don’t have the plunger that will resolve the problem. At 7:25am I called again requesting service again, and they stated someone will come right up. At 8;45am I called again and finally an employee at 9:00am had a plunger and resolved the issue. I had no sleep and to make it worst the adjacent room had two women which wouldn’t stop talking and the walls seem to echo every word that came out of their mouths. I started to get ready however my wife and I couldn’t make it to their breakfast which we paid for bc they remove breakfast at 10:30am. To cut it short we ended up checking out with no breakfast no sleep and just apologies. I never will stay here again. Unfortunately bc I always had a great experience until today.

The staff is amazing. Especially Rosa one of the managers. I had a few issues with the room and she went above and beyond to make sure i was well raken care of. The staff on the VIP 9th floor was amazing, ensuring i was comfortable and taken care of.

The VIP section at the hotel needs improvement—particularly in food quality and operating hours. I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times and, until now, never left a review. But I’ve come to realize that by staying silent, I may have unintentionally done it a disservice—especially because I genuinely love this place. That said, I’ve noticed a decline recently. The buffet, which used to be the best in Santo Domingo, has suddenly dropped in quality. It no longer lives up to the high standards it once set. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that management will take it constructively and bring back the excellence that made this hotel stand out in the first place.

La verdad, el servicio del personal del restaurante japonés es pésimo, no tenían ni una sola mesa y no tuvimos servicio, ni siquiera pudimos comer ahí, duramos 50 min y nunca nos ofrecieron agua o alguna bebida, la mesera no sabía nada del menú y sería entendible si fuera su primer día pero su actitud fue terrible, pedimos una pizza y después de 20 min nos dijeron que no había, horrible servicio, después asistimos al otro restaurante y la supervisora y mesera de ahí se portaron increíble, nos comentaron que ya no podíamos pedir a la carta que solo se podía el bufete a las 10pm cosa que no queríamos por qué ya era demasiado tarde, le comentamos la situación del restaurante japonés y ella solucionó, un wow para ella y su personal atento, ella y la señora de limpieza de los baños del lobby tienen el valor del servicio enaltecido, fuimos al gym, no había agua, le pedimos como a 5 personas del personal que si nos podían asistir con el garrafón y tardaron más de 30 min en conseguir uno, no tienen toallitas para el sudor, se le comentó al personal del front sobre la situación en el restaurante y pidieron disculpas por el inconveniente. Las instalaciones son lindas pero realmente no me volvería a hospedar aquí
