Good value for a central location. A normal 3-4 star hotel. Easy walk to all the sights and plenty of local restaurants . Nice gym. Sauna took too long to heat up to be useful . Subway very accessible

Esta bien ubicado y la piscina se agradece si vas en un mes caluroso. Sin embargo ésta parece un poco descuidada en cuanto a limpieza. El desayuno esta bien, nada extraordinario. La habitacion un poco justa. Nos ha parecido mas un hotel de 4 estrellas que de 5. El restaurante que se encuentra en el ultimo piso tiene unas vistas increibles a la Acrópolis y la comida y el servicio aquí sí es de 5 *.

The rooftop restaurant has a gorgeous view of the acropolis, the food was delicious, and the the service was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay. It's walking distance to the acropolis, the Plaka, and the new museum.

You are definitely paying for the location. With a name like “palace” I expected more for the price point. Room was good size but hadn’t been swept, bathroom was outdated and grimy, and bathroom door was so swollen with moisture it wouldn’t close, and when it did it wouldn’t open. Pool was not great, it’s small and shaded all day. I preferred the Divani Caravell across town. Rooftop restaurant was delish though.

The listing shows a picture of the rooftop garden ammenity but we were not allowed upstairs to use the ammenity. We explained that we were hotel guests but the said it was booked for a private dinner. I never would have booked this hotel if we could not use the rooftop. They should have alerted us ahead of time. When we went to the concierge, they did nothing to help us. This is listed as a 5 star hotel, they should have comped us something.

We enjoyed this hotel - it was luxurious, if a little dated, clean and cool and had excellent amenities including a restaurant with the best unobstructed rooftop view of the acropolis in Athens, was super convenient to shopping and all tourist sites. Service was also excellent. Would recommend.

5성급이라 기대하고 갔는데 좀 실망했어요. 엘레베이터가 2대인데 1대는 수리중이고, 루프탑도 보수 공사중. 방에 방음이 잘 안되는지 옆방 소리도 들리고... 리셉션과 House keeping 서비스는 좋았어요. 위치도 아크로폴리스에 가깝고 다른 관광지도 도보 이동이 가능한 곳입니다. 예약한 방이 아크로폴리스 뷰였는데 테라스에서 고개 내밀면 보입니다. 별로 추천하고 싶지는 않습니다.

It is a very clean hotel but nothing special. The bar is VERY expensive. 18 euros for a old fashioned. The pool is very small, and the sauna was cold. You have to maintain the sauna at constant temperature. There was no obvious way to turn it on. It seems designed more for conferences than travelers.

To be honest this is far from being a five star hotel. It is a typical 4 star hotel the most. Certainly not a clean hotel. we checked in to our room and I found multiple hairs in the bathroom wall and floor and lots of hair on the bed sheet. we end up getting a new room but again I found hairs on the bed sheet. The hotel management tried to make up for it and offered us free breakfast and a wine which was nice.

Our room was clean, the bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way, the closet door neither, so the light in the closet was on the entire time. As we were coming out of our room with our luggage for checkout, the cleaning lady was there and told us to leave the door open. Two days later I get an email telling us we used items in the mini bar and we needed to pay. We didn't even know where the mini bar was nor did we use it. The hotel staff at the desk was nice and helpful. Still waiting to see if they charged us the mini bar. Wasn't much but its the principal of it. I wouldn't stay here again but the location was perfect.

The hotel was located close to tour meeting spots, the Acropolis and museum and lovely food and drink options. The upscale restaurant on the roof had an excellent view of the Acropolis and a very tasty menu. The AC worked oerfectly despite the major heat wave. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff answered every question with grace.

I checked in yesterday and was greeted by the lovely Natassa who kindly gave me an early check in. With my status with expedia I am to recieve a bottle of Wine. Natassa told me water and the wine would be brought up to the room shortly… The water was never brought to my room… When I inquired about this with the hotel desk, I was told I had to go to the bar and purchase it for $12… The room was filthy. Ants were crawling all around. The bathrobe Has black eye makeup smeared all Over it. The hallways are repulsive and the carpet is over worn and stained. The pool looks nothing like photos with cheap chairs that are stained from all the bird droppings. In no way is this a five star hotel. This is a absolute dump!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, but for a five-star hotel, we expected a bit more — especially fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. Our room was on the fifth floor, just below the rooftop terrace on the sixth floor, which stayed open until 1:00 AM. Unfortunately, the noise from upstairs carried into our room quite clearly, and it sounded like furniture was being moved around constantly. Thankfully, we had earplugs, which helped us get some sleep since we had an early start the next morning. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the hotel's common areas were luxurious and beautifully designed. However, the room itself could use a bit of a refresh, especially when it comes to surface finishes. The location is excellent — within walking distance of the main attractions, shops, and restaurants.

Not quite what the pictures show. The room was nice but was expecting nicer. I paid for Acropolis view, you had to go out on the balcony and turn around to see it so don’t bother paying extra.

Combo of modern and classic feel. Espresso Maxine in room. Very nice lobby, with a historic relic in the basement floor. Facial mirror light did not work. Lighting overall in room was not very good, but balcony view of acropolis was amazing.

The room was clean, however, the bed was not comfortable. There were two divits in the mattress that just suck you in at night to sleep. My husband and I woke up with a sore backs the next morning. They need to be replaced. The toilet cover will not stay back. Everytime we went to the bathroom it would hit us in the back. Very annoying. The walls are very thin and you can hear people talking next door through them. The voices kept my husband up at night. We wish there were more TV channels in English. On a positive note: the A/C worked well and the shampoo, conditioner and lotion were very nice. The view was nice of the Acropolis. The breakfast buffet was awesome... really enjoyed it.

Lovely hotel not far from Acropolis and Parthenon. Great roof top restaurant ang great food for breakfast and in the bar. The only negative thing is the walls in the rooms are very thin!! Could hear people down at the pool and we were on the third floor, plus got rudely woken at midnight when next door put on their TV!! Had to bang on wall twice to get them to turn it down/off.

The hotel is very well located. The rooms are newly renovated, but very small. The bathrooms do look dated, and ours had a damaged sink. Staff is very helpful. The restaurant is beautiful with a great view of the acropolis.

Seams like it was very nice looking hotel about 15-20 years ago but now they need to do some renovations. Rooms are loud and need some sound proof cause you can hear everything next door. Very convenient location as it so close to Acropolis and they have great views from rooftop restaurant.

Excellent Reception Staff! Especially Irene & Marylin! super helpful and friendly! Divani is in the best location! Beautiful hotel, nice size rooms, close to shopping, and the Acropolis, dining, etc. very central, fantastic location! Great place to stay! Breakfast was good too, gym great! nice little pool! George the Bartender was great too! The whole experience was great!

Divani Palace Acropolis is one of my favourite hotels to stay at in Athens, it is a stone throws away from all the major attractions in Athens as well the best customer service out of any hotel I have stayed at in the world. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

The photo is a view from top of the Parthenon not zoomed in shows the distance from it to the hotel no more than a few minutes walk away from the entrance you could not pick a better situated hotel for all the sites you want to see.

The staff were fantastic. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Plaka and the Acropolis Museum. It's only a few minutes on foot from the Syngrou-Fix metro station and just two stops away from Syntagma Square.

do not make local phone calls, 13 dollars for 10 min, typical average hotel, the view is perfect. the food service in the bar by the pool is terrible and overpriced even by tourist standards. The view is the only thing spectacular the rest as average as average gets.

Hotel was great. Staff was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good, lots of options. The hotel was in a perfect spot for getting around in Athens, easily walkable to so many of the sights. The best part of this hotel was the rooftop restaurant. It was spectacular. Otherwise, it was just an ok hotel. Parts of our room was old looking (bathrooms) and the breakfast buffet was mediocre. However, if you want just an average hotel this place is perfectly fine. And book your reservations for the rooftop dinner well in advance. It will not disappoint.
