We arrived later in the evening and parked in the reserved lot but felt very unsafe. Very poor lighting and many people around with no security. Our room was overcrowded with us having to climb over 1 of the beds to get to the other side of the room. Super inconvenient. We ended up cutting our stay short and moving to a different hotel.

Great location. Hotel was nice, breakfast good. Bed was a bit hard for us but nothing wrong with it, just our preference is softer. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the parking due to a race in Glasgow which didn’t allow vehicle access anywhere in the city centre.

Perfect central hotel. But old and marked by the ravages of time. Small a narrow room (703). One of two elevators not in use. Difficulty to find Hotel Parking. Information in front desk not accurate enough. Good breakfast

Location and parking is great. We had a twin room which was very crammed, struggled to get round the bed as the desk is in the way. Pillows desperately need replaced, it felt like I was sleeping on a brick sadly. Rooms could be done with an upgrade, a lot of decor looking poor and bathrooms are aging. Will stay again for location

We enjoyed our stay however there were a couple of things we were not happy with. Prior to going out for the evening we had one gin with soda and one gin with tonic at the bar. It was served in a tumbler. The cost was £12.43, a strange amount. On our return we had exactly the same drinks, it was served in exactly the same way and cost £13.20. We tried to establish the correct cost with the menu but were unable to work it out. We sat down and a couple sat down opposite us. They also had gins but served in gin glasses with fruit. Surely there is a standard for serving drinks? The following morning I queried the difference in costs to be told the soda water was free for the first drink but charged for the second. That also is rather strange. Again where is the standard? On the receipt which I was given in the morning, I noticed that there was also a service charge. I have never in my life been charged a service charge when I have gone to a bar and carried the drinks myself to my seat. Is this some kind of joke?

This is a very nice hotel. It is not the most modern facility but it is very clean. I had a lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and are very willing to help with anything. My only notice was there was no electric outlets by the head of the bed, so anyone using a BIPAP/CPAP machine would need a long extension cord. Maybe that can be provided. The bathroom was spotless. I used the plastic zip bag that was for extra pillows as a container for some clothes, instead of keeping some clothes in my case and having to open it frequently. A dresser with drawer space would be better, but this was a minor inconvenience. I had a very quiet room on the 6th floor. I would definately return to this hotel. The location is perfect and very convenient to everything you need. Also the Nespresso coffee machine and kettle were provided. That was sweet indeed. Also breakfast was available for a very reasonable fee which I did not use, as I don’t eat breakfast usually. The biggest compliment again, goes to all the staff. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant.

The decor in the room was contemporary but the cleaning had only taken place on table tops. The wardrobe was filled with thick dust leaving clean clothes dirty. The bath had two holes on the side (inside) meaning you couldn’t fill the bath tub up. The shower leaked terribly with us having to use the only towels in the room to mop up.

The hotel is in a decent location. It is, however, rundown and rather depressing. There is no A/C in the room, thankfully I found a fan. There were peanuts and plastic bits on the floor of the room, so clearly not cleaned well. The bed was comfortable, the pillows all very lumpy and uncomfortable. Hotel price reflected the service, cleanliness and comfort level.

Hotel is in a great location. Others have complained about noise at night when windows open and that is accurate but the hotel is in a city centre location so noise is expected. The staff were lovely , the public areas were in good decorative order. However as soon as you step out of the lift the decor is very poor in the corridors and in the rooms. The room we were in was really dingy. The bath was all badly chipped and the grout in bath area was really mouldy. An urgent face lift is needed. To end on a positive note the breakfast was delicious.

Able to check in on arrival at 1.30. Stayed in a privilege room. Well presented, the wee extras made it a bit special, including the coffee machine. Huge bed, quiet room. Spotlessly clean. Enjoyed a bath, don’t have one at home, with lovely complimentary toiletries. Didn’t have breakfast. Only stayed one night. Cheery and helpful staff, including the cleaning staff who obviously work hard. Third time staying here, perfect city centre location… definitely returning and highly recomend.

Dirty room, and bathroom! Broken tiles and broken wooden frames all around doors! Carpets were sticky with something couldnt remove shoes to walk around room. Bed lining wasn’t clean, black marks on it! Was filthy! Wouldn’t recommend! Only bonus was location

Staff was great! Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. However, the rooms were extremely small with no furniture or drawers to put clothes in. Not even a bench to put luggage on. We had to pile our clothes on chairs. Its really a hotel for 1 or 2 nights only. No plugs by the bedside, only on the desk. Not a leisure hotel. Great location.

Glasgow as packed due to uni graduations, so the hotels were full, overly expensive and check-in was held up because rooms weren’t ready, which doesn’t chime with the elevated price. It was also hot and with the window open, noisy. Great location though, and the staff are nice…

Great for city centre attractions. Staff were amazing. Room was stuffy and hot at night. would have loved a fan or air conditioning. WiFi isn't reliable. Breakfast options great, but didn't enjoy the scrambled eggs at all. Pleasant atmosphere.

At 6 AM on our second day the fire alarm went off. There was no emergency, the fire alarm seemed to be an error, yet we were all evacuated. I saw a woman being carried down because she was disabled. We hauled our luggage down 4 flights of stairs along with the entire hotel. I am also disabled so it was very difficult and pretty much destroyed our plans to walk around the city. My knee was swollen and we needed more sleep by the time we got back upstairs. We had to leave the next day, so we didn’t get to see much of Glasgow. The staff never mentioned it, never apologized, and certainly didn’t offer anything to make up for the massive disruption that fire drill caused for us and everyone in the hotel. It was such a disappointing beginning to our once in a lifetime trip celebrating our 20th anniversary.

LOCATION: can't beat this; 5 to 12 min away walking to amazing areas and landmarks. BRKFST: YUMMY, all the fixings needed for a great start to the day! It is an older Hotel that visibly needs a revamp BUT the beds were comfy, good size bathroom and shower with tub! The staff were a delight!!! Callum at night, Joy in the morning, a blond at the brkfst and evening shift (sorry I missed your names). As a past Hotellier of 25 yrs, all the employees were a delight and very welcoming, they say renos will come next year, I can only imagine how amazing this Hotel will be to bring it to the next level!! Wonderful stay im Glasgow, we truly enjoyed every moment :D

The staff were friendly and helpful.Thw room was dated and could smell damp in the bathroom...shower was very stiff and difficult to turn on. No extraction fan in bathroom..TV was faulty and we needed assistance to turn it on. Breakfast was disappointing and overcooked

Nice hotel, good location, breakfast options are not acceptable, if a hotel advertises as catering for allergies then i dont think it is too much to expect the hotel to know what a food allergy is, the head of catering didnt know what gluten was, she went and asked the chef and came back and said the chef didnt know what gluten was either and they had to phone another chef to find out what it was and then had to send someone to the shop to get gluten free bread and still managed to bring me out unsuitable food , twice. I was not impressed

. The person on duty at night was a bit grumpy but all other staff were excellent and very helpful. Bed was clean and comfy. Breakfast was lovely and there was lots of choice. Eggs were cooked to order and nothing was too much bother. I would definitely stay here again.
