Lovely hotel, fantastic central location. Room was spacious, had lots of facilities including fridge, coffee machine and tea & kettle. Bed was very comfy, you could hear a little bit of noise in the corridor but nothing too disruptive. Breakfast was tasty albeit somewhat pricey. Parking outside the hotel was quite pricey but at the hotel sign in desk there is a discount code for the QPark on First street around the corner, I was really happy for this as it saved us about £15 in parking fees.

We had a lovely stay. But i do have to add, when i arrived at the hotel, i asked the receptionist about where to park. He replied park at the NCP car park over the road, which we did. On our return to the hotel to check in, we asked about discount on the parking there upon which they replied not unless we had used the the Q carpark.. why why why would you recommend NCP then. Total cost £59. Booked this hotel because it said it had parking available. Obviously not so we felt we were mislead when booking the hotel and werent expecting a £59 extra charge.

Easy to find location , good parking with Q park behind hotel and discounted rate for hotel guests if you book on line in advance and use code given by Hotel . Hotel clean and facilities adequate for price - very quiet room on top floor ! Excellent breakfast ! Reception staff lovely ! . Have stayed before and will stay again .

The hotel itself was very good and staff were excellent. Be warned, there is no car park! Parking is about 300m away and is a light rail public car park. Only about £6.50 overnight but a bit inconvenient. No problems if you’re going by cab or public transport.

Excellent hotel right at the city centre. Clean and spacious for 3 adults. No parking at the hotel premises, but paid long stay parking is available nearby with a discount code available from the hotel. I am happy, value for money.

Loved the self check in option but it didn’t work, it also didn’t work at the end so you spent all the time completing the details needed then would reject your check in. Breakfast was great

Hotel was in a great location and had a nice lobby but there constant doors banging all through the night and the shower didn’t have any hot water. It was also mouldy in places along the caulk in the shower. Considering the price I paid it was pretty awful

The staff were very welcoming, shops were all within walking distance. But the hotel fabric was tired. We paid for an executive room which gave us earlier access which was great- and good space. But in many other hotels we’ve stayed this space was standard. However the bathroom had mould on the grouting which wasn’t nice, and the dressing table surface was damaged and caught at wool fabric.

The room was presented nicely. Very convenient location with good transport links. The cleanliness in the bathroom let things down for us. There were hairs in the bath and sides of sink and bath needed to wiped by us. Attention to detail with cleaning is lacking but the beds were comfy and for what we paid in the centre of Manchester we would definitely stay again. The lobby of the hotel smelt amazing and looks very upmarket. Kettle with tea and coffee in the room was a very welcome find after a long day at Old Trafford.

The front of house staff were mostly rude and unhelpful, the rooms were dirty and not cleaned properly when cleaned during the day, mould on the ceilings, toilet constantly dripping, TV remote not working. There is absolutely no way this can be classed as a four star hotel. I will not be returning.

The check in clerk was lovely and very helpful. They kept our bags for us while we waited to check in. We were early and waited a couple of hours then they let us check in early. There was plenty of comfy seating in the lobby. Very cute and close to restaurants. We only stayed one night but ran out of toilet paper the first evening with no extra in the room. There was only one tissue in the tissue box as well. The room had not been cleaned thoroughly, there was an EXTREMELY gross towel covered in something red/orange crusty in one of the drawers that had been left by a previous customer. There was a crumpled tissue shoved into the peephole. The restaurant was not open as advertised (all over the hotel) and when we inquired about food were met with some hostility as they said “We’re not open sometimes because not enough people come here.” The hair dryer did not work. Walls were very thin and could hear everything. Overall a fine stay but not sure I’d go back because of the cleanliness issue

The room was very small as was the bed. The self check in machine didn’t work. The window looked out to a dirty wall. On the plus side the location was good being close to all amenities and the staff were for the most part helpful and friendly.

Great hotel handy for arious music venues and train station. My room overlooked the canal and was quiet. Had a great night’s sleep. I’d chosen a small room and it was fitted out nicely, making the most of the space, and had all amenities you’d expect. Great place to stay if you’re doing to the O2 which is about 5 mins walk away and it felt safe as a single female. Also walking distance to bus stations, city centre, Picadilly etc. Would definitely use again.

Great hotel, central location & a number of car parks nearby. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Couple of negatives: the hotel really needs to improve its soundproofing; we were woken around 4am on Saturday morning with people returning & doors slamming closed, floors creaking etc, and then the same around 6.30am on Sunday morning. Sitting in bed on the Friday evening, we felt the people in the adjacent room get into bed as our headboard moved.........! Rooms are quite dark; there are only spot lights above the room door, 2 dull wall lights by the bed and a floor lamp - could definitely do with some better lighting. Would stay again, but would ask for a room towards the rear of the hotel & off the ground floor.

Charlotte on reception was very helpful and efficient room was good enough and spacious but tv was such a disappointment as it kept breaking up or saying no signal this is not acceptable in this day and age! Location great and hotel very well kept

Helpful staff, clean. Rooms are a little dated. Needs better lighting as very yellow and dim. Also bathroom door handle needed fixing as it was very hard to open. Also couldn’t fit water bottle in sink to fill it up

Lovely hotel, great location near oxford st. Bed really comfortable, shower powerful, great steam iron and full size ironing board. TV was bit dated couldnt cast to but still large flat screen. Breakfast lots of choice hot and cold...toasted bagels were lovely. Wifi fast and free

Upon arriving you are greeted with an angry receptionist almost shouting at you to self check in. The room was freezing cold and would not warm up no matter how much I played around with the heating. The toilet didn't flush properly. I was put in a connecting room which I did not ask for and the family in the next room were extremely noisy until 1am which you could hear everything through the connecting door. I called for room service and had to dial about 5 times before anyone answered. Upon check out there was no one at reception to assist. I wanted a VAT receipt for my stay. Since checking out I have constantly been emailing and calling the hotel to get a VAT receipt and no one is responding to my emails or picking up my calls. Would never stay here again and would not recommend to anyone!

The standard of every hotel is gauged by the greeting and the rest should follow. The first point of contact at any hotel is key. The receptionist was rude, sharp, argumentative....she was having a bad day but to take it out on guests was very very poor. We will not be returning to the hotel and have already advised friends who were looking the hotel not to bother

The hotel and food overall was great. Especially the restaurant and breakfast staff. The hotel doesn’t have parking even though it’s advertised. You have to pay £20 to pay overnight and the parking is far away. I was also charged on arrival more than my agreed amount on hotels.com (about £15 more). The reception staff soon my arrival were really mean and dismissive

Great location. Very nice room, very clean and comfortable. Self check in kiosk very annoying, asks for lots of info they must already have. Doesnt tell you room number, sends via sms or email but doesnt home through. Have to use despite staff being there on other side of desk! Good idea in principle for busy times but only 2 machines anyway. Suggest having primary check in with staff and kiosks away from desk as back up.

I love this hotel, convenient for The Bridgewater Hall where I often work. I struggled to sleep on my first night's stay as roomwas close to tramline. They moved and upgraded my room FoC for which I was grateful and gave me two complimentary breakfasts. Brilliant customer service.

It was really convenient for food and shopping options within 15 min walk, parking is not easy but the train station its less than 5 min walk. The Hotel is clean, modern and spacious compared with other hotels in the area were our friends were staying, the staff is friendly and even that it is located in a busy area we couldn’t hear the city noise with the windows close. Highly recommend

Lovely modern hotel. Great location. Hotel was clean and the bedrooms were exceptional. Great size rooms. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from.. fresh hot buffet and continental options. Hotel receptionists and duty manager was very accommodating and welcoming. Ncp parking two minutes walk away. Only stayed for one night but would definitely stay again.

In general the hotel was clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful when required. My only issues were in relation to the food / restaurant. I was told the restaurant was open until 10pm for food. When I went down just before 9pm I was informed by staff that there was no chef at work so no food!! Despite being told by reception it was available. Breakfast not included in my price and was £12.50 per day. This was a very average breakfast with not much choice or variety.

Tv in the room was damaged so about 20% of screen could be seen. Breakfast greeting my staff wasn’t friendly and said I hadn’t had a breakfast included and had to check again. The food was cold and not enough staff clearing away so difficult to find a clean table to sit at on arrival. Lots of tables no cleaned or cleared.

Great room, great service at reception from Sarah. However the shower was freezing so couldn't have one and going down to breakfast @09:00 the food tasted as though it had been left out (eggs we're rubbery' the bacon solid and it had ran out of several of the items....went Maccy's in the end.

Hotel is great 4star, across from convention centre. Baths and showers in rooms, windows open for fresh air, real steam irons. Fridges in exec rooms. Breakfast good choice & love the bagels. Early check in if availability. Luggage storage if not. Staff friendly and professional.
