Quinta Real Monterrey

Es una lástima que un hotel tan bonito lo hayan descuidado tanto, en general la cadena de estos hoteles está en decadencia. La primera habitación la tuvimos que cambiar por que tenía las almohadas sucias y pelos en las sábanas. La segunda estaba un poco mejor pero la cortina del baño tenía hongos, dicha cortina queda corta por que es la que tenía cuando el baño tenía tina, así de vieja es. El precio de los alimentos es abusivo y no te permite disfrutar de los servicios del hotel. CHILAQUILES DE 600 pesos !!! Con eso no te dan ganas de tomar tus alimentos y/o bebidas en el hotel te sientes estafado. Sin tienes problemas de movilidad no es tu hotel, carece de rampas y el acceso a las habitaciones es primero por escaleras.

En general tuvimos buena estancia. Disfrutamos mucho la alberca. Lo único malo fue haber encontrado una cucaracha en el piso de la habitación. No es algo que se espera de un hotel de esta categoría.

La alberca está muy bonita a veces está fría pero luego si se requiere la pueden regular pero todo muy bien, excelente servicio

This used to be one of the best, if not the best hotel in Monterrey. It is outdated, needs a lot of maintenance, and worn off. The first 2 days no hot water for showering, the illuminated mirror was not working and we asked for a new one, never changed. The first day our room was not cleaned or serviced. When asking for more towels, it took a lot of time, and only brought us two (we were 3), telling us for the moment they have not enough towels. No one helped with the luggage when we arrived and you have to go down some stairs to get to the elevator, so people with disabilities would have trouble. The water pool was cold. They told us the water heater was not working. I have stayed here many years ago, and nothing compared to this unpleasant surprise for a “five star hotel”. The property feels with abandonment, short of staff, and even the staff seemed unhappy doing its job. Although the location is 5 stars, there are a lot of other upscale hotels in the surrounding area, less expensive and newer. Next time in Monterrey I won’t stay here again.

No cuentan con barman, a pesar de tener bar. Su oferta de bebidas y hasta cervezas sumamente limitada. Las llaves de los baños requieren mantenimiento, tienen fugas y no sirven las mezcladoras del agua. Dejó de ser un hotel de 5 estrellas.

Me encanto el servicio, y las habitaciones son muy comodas y amplias, solo olía un poquito a humedad, pero en general todo super bien, la comida es muy rica, la alberca climatizada lo vale todo, y pedimos varias veces servicio a la habitación y super rapido 😊

El spa y la piscina no están a la altura del hotel

Dejar aguas grandee en la habitación, lo más importante es que de la recepción al elevador de cuartos hay que bajar demasiada escaleras, no hay rampa para maletas ni para personal que requieren silla de ruedas y no nos asistieron con las maletas

Muy confortable, preciosa piscina, está un poco viejo el hotel pero está agradable y nice. Súper recomendable

Alberca helada

Our experience at La Quinta Real was very disappointing. The room we were assigned was in poor condition: the towels were old, the furniture was worn out, and the carpet was dirty and stained. I had to call three times before someone finally came to clean. It’s truly a shame to see such a beautiful hotel being neglected in this way—it’s no longer what it used to be. Out of the four nights we had booked, we ended up canceling and moving to another hotel. I mentioned all of this to the front desk agent at checkout, who said he would inform the manager immediately. We went to have breakfast and later returned to ask if the manager had checked the room, but the agent only said he was “in the process.” We then sat in the lobby for a while waiting for our transportation, yet the manager never appeared to introduce himself or address us. I made it clear to the staff that I would share my experience publicly if no one followed up with us—and since no one did, here I am sharing my review. Sadly, La Quinta Real has lost the charm and quality it once had.

I got the Clase King room. Linens smelled like vomit. I ordered puree de potato for my 1 year old daughter and it had big chunks of potatoes. She spit them out. The floor was very dirty . I told the manager and they changed the sheets but only upon request.My daughter and wife both got big bites and maid didn't bother to throw our garbage in the room or restroom over the weekend. The building is classic and nice but the personnel needs a good revamp

This used to be a very nice hotel, the room TV was not working, there is no maintenance overnight so they moved to a new room, in the new room there was no towels, when i open the curtains there were stains of what looked like blood, maybe food or sauce, no hand soap in the bathroom, also some of the towels looked very old like the ones you find in a cheap 40 dolar a night motel, not a 200 dolar a nigh hotel

Horrible experiencia, las almohadas apestaban a que no habían cambiado nada. Había una cucaracha muerta en el baño, unas pestañas postizas tiradas. Huele feo. En serio eviten este hotel, no vale lo que dice que es. Carísimo y viejo.

Should improve maintenance. 2 dead roaches on the bedroom. Little things but not good things at all. Hotel is nice but this small things won’t help to the overall experience. Good luck!

El personal muy atentos, muy amables, las housekeepers muy bien, hacian el cambio de sabanas diariamente y todo limpio en los baños, pero las condiciones del hotel dejan mucho que desear, le falta mucho mantenimiento, las alfombras de los pasillos y los cuartos olian a drenaje ademas de que estan demasiado sucias, se percibe mucha humedad en todo el hotel, y pues como digo ya adentro caminando por los pasillos huele mucho a caño. Por favor dueños o encargados de la quinta real, se necesita mucho mantenimiento, cambien las alfombras por alfombras nuevas, esas que tienen aunque las laven estan demasiadas percudidas y en muy malas condiciones.

Las habitaciones ya están muy viejas y descuidadas. Me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación porque habían cosa que no funcionaban

Súper bien todas las instalaciones, solo nos hospedaron atrás del cuarto de máquinas súper incómodo todas las noches tuvimos mucho ruido

Great location. Room wasn’t great, it’s dated. Shower curtain is super short, there used to be a tub and they changed it to a shower (which is great) but they didn’t change the curtain, reason why it is almost half way way off the floor. Shower had mold on dirrerent spots. Staff is nice and friendly. It is a great property, and has an excellent location, but the rooms are dated.

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious and beds super comfortable. It’s a bit old and could use some maintenance, but the great location made up for it—close to lots of shops and attractions. The bar was pricey, but overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

AC didnt work, had to change room at 11:45 PM

Very nice property, with attentive staff and an excellent location. However, the property would benefit from improved maintenance. I have stayed here in the past and can notice a decline in upkeep. There was no minibar in my room, and we had to request one because there are not enough available for all rooms. The thermostat in the room needs an upgrade, and the bathroom could use a renovation. With these improvements, this could be the best property in town.

El personal no era atento, es un problema que te reciban el carro en la entrada. No permiten entrar Uber Eats y nadie nunca te contesta el teléfono en recepción ni en servicio al cuarto.

Customer Service wasn’t great. Two hours plus to get towels. Front desk is terrible.

Me hospedo seguido en este hotel, pero en esta última ocasión me tocó un servicio muy por debajo del nivel del hotel. La habitación con faltantes de amenidades BÁSICOS incluso en hoteles súper baratos los tienen como una simple secadora, me tocó pedirlo y jamás llegó, no contestan para servicio a habitación. La habitación le faltaba limpieza y la atención en recepción igual muy vaga ni el botones se acercó a apoyar con maletas (de esto último me tocó en dos ocasiones), no sirve de nada pagar una habitación gobernador porque el trato e instalaciones deja mucho que desear

Todo bien, solo que el check in era a las 3 pm y me lo hicieron a las 5 pm y al momento de pedir prorroga para salir un poco mas tarde, me dejaron salir solo 1 hora mas tarde

Excellent service

Worst service. Two times we order from room service and we didn’t received what we order. And we call to complain and they told us it was not their fault. They need to improve their staff training.

3 hour delayed to check-in & then they tried to convince us that the new room was the same room as the one from our reservation. It clearly wasn’t. It was a regular room. Our reservation was a suite. Then the hotel receptionist stated our room wasn’t ready because it was still being cleaned. It was 5pm & check in was at 3pm. We arrived at the property at 2:30pm. Didn’t get our room until 5:15pm. Due to their delay, we missed out on 2 hours of priceless quality time with our relatives that we see every 7-10 years. We’re very disappointed. We will not be staying here again or recommending it to our friends/family or my 800,000 followers on social media. Plus no coffee maker in room. The valet was prompt & food was high quality quality at restaurant.

Un hermoso lugar para pernoctar, muy céntrico con personal de gran actitud de servicio.

Truly 5 star level hotel. Great architecture and a colonial gem in the main Monterrey shopping area with a slew of restaurant options. Approx. 15 minutes to Chipinque National Park for ridiculously good hiking.

Years have taken its toll on this hotel. Its time for an update. Staff was good but their service policy not so, for instance: Got a room upgrade, but the minibar was empty... not expected on a top category hotel. Another one: on my reservation I added the breakfast option but when arrived in the restaurant they told me that buffett was not included; got informed that what I paid was just a small menu with some eggs and hotcakes. $50 USD scrambled eggs? quite expensive.

Like: Design and architecture overall, clean room, good smell, location is amazing really good restaurants that you can go walking. Dislike: Tv was old and the remote as well so very hard to watch tv and change channels. Service and friendliness of the staff is not great unless maybe you are dressed really good then they are nice. Breakfast overall was really poor. The prices are extremely high for example the huevos rancheros was like around 500s pesos. We ended up ordering pancakes. They brought to us 3 pancakes literally with one side choice. No presentation or guarnish very plain. For these prices i was expecting something at least with good presentation and above average taste. Amenities: One of the reason we picked this hotel was the inside pool, it does have an inside pool but no heat. I think this should ve disclosed. The water was so cold it was impossible to get in and swim. Other thing, there is only 2 complaiment bottle of waters per day (500ml). I called to ask for more water and they transfer me room service I ended up paying 2 more bottles for like 250 pesos, tip included not even gave me the option. They didnt disclose that and I ended up paying double tip. Overall, not impressed for a high level hotel. I will try something else next time.

Nice property but service is terrible. At the restaurant we had lunch and they took forever. When we complained the manager was upset but at us not at his team! Service is not up to the quality of property the hotel has.

Bien en todo,lismpieza,servicio y su brunch dominical. Si acaso hay un poco de olor a humedad en habitaciones y pasillos.

yes the breakfast selection was good. the mexican bread could be more fresh. the bar selection was ok. need whiskey options and need to be advertise more on social media. beautiful bar. staff was good the receptionist was not to nice.

No atienden el teléfono, no ponen café, ni toallas, tardan hasta la noche para hacer el cuarto, los alimentos caros y malos.

My wife and I had our wedding reception in this hotel 26 years ago next month. So this was an emotional visit for us. Other than the food in the restaurant, everything was perfect. The restaurant has a great reputation with everyone we spoke to. But the meal we got was not edible.
