Nice, new, clean and spacious room with small Kitchen area, large bathroom area and spacious makeup area. The included breakfast was perfect! Nice hit rub and pool area. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Lots of parking with several access doors. I would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience.

The staff were amazing, especially enjoyed getting tips of Yosemite from Clifford. Love that the hotel has a souvenir shop and the items were so reasonably priced. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Will definitely come back!

Great customer service, very attentive, friendly and cordial. They have nice facilities including a pool, hot tub, small gift shop with reasonable price, wet and dry sauna. Decent breakfast and 25 minutes from Yosemite.

Room was quiet and very clean. Staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Whirlpool was an added plus, especially after a long day at Yosemite. Its proximity to Yosemite was great and the room had nice literature about the park. Our day long tour picked us up at the hotel, which was quite convenient.

What a gem of a hotel! Good sized room with excellent facilities that was spotlessly clean! Beds really comfortable, even the sofa bed our adult son used. Breakfast was more than adequate. Staff all friendly and helpful. Great location on main road to Yosemite but unaware of traffic noise. Various eating places and shops within walking distance if desired. Would book here again if visiting Yosemite.

Very clean, easy parking, friendly staff, good breakfast. Stayed one night with family while visiting Yosemite and enjoyed our stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable compared to other places we stayed during our road trip through the area. And it was a nice little town with everything we needed.

We booked one night stay. Unfortunately our experience with this hotel was not up to the expectations. When we checked in, our room smelled like cigarette smoke really strong. I had to go back to the reception and was told that they didn't have the same room for us to switch. However, they had free rooms. In my opinion, if the room smells like cigarette smoke, it should not be the problem of the guests who paid for this room. It should be hotel's responsibility to provide accommodations for their guests that are the same or better at no extra charge to resolve the inconvenience cause by not properly cleaning the room to get rid of the smoke smell. Instead, we had to pay extra fee to switch the room just because we had a very tired toddler with us and she had to get some rest after a long road trip and arguing with the receptionist who had no real customer service skills was stressful, she just didn't care. Aside from this unpleasant and stressful experience, the hotel is clean. Breakfast is what you would usually get from a "breakfast included deal". Will we come back? No. To me customer service is everything and this properly didn't have that.

Staff were lovely, room was comfortable, and the location is awesome. Unfortunately, if you get a room on the bottom floor (and I imagine same applies to levels 2-3) the noise from your upstairs neighbour is really bad. Staff were very apologetic and advised that they couldn’t move us after night 1 as they were fully booked, but it did put a bit of a dampener on our stay. Still worth the price, just bring ear plugs or request a room on level 4!

This hotel is easily in the top 3 that I’ve ever stayed. We had a 2 queen room on the 2nd floor, first week of April. Very professional, friendly and prompt front desk staff = amazing. The room was immaculate, as if everything was very new. Seriously, I bring disinfecting wipes to wipe everything down, and didn’t find any speck of stain or grime to clean. The room came with four bath towels, was VERY spacious with storage galore, a bench for luggage, a fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, keurig, table and chairs, a desk and chair, plenty of outlets/USB ports, a great shower curtain with easy sliding curtain rod, bathroom towel hooks with bathroom shelves, AND it was soundproof. I could hear noise from the neighboring rooms when out in the hall, but heard nothing in our room. The mattress was OK, and we were so tired each day that sleep came easy. Water heated up quickly with good pressure. Free breakfast was OK, enough to get full and go. I wish this hotel’s standard was everywhere. Only thing is that the closer south entrance is mountainous and scenic (can be scary in winter), but it’s easier (and very pretty) to drive into Yosemite Valley from Mariposa. I would stay in Oakhurst again just for Yosemite Southgate.

Great room and facilities (pool And hot tub a bonus) and reasonable cost. The complimentary breakfast was fine but crowded (everyone grabbing food and using the toaster at the same time) The room was larger than normal, super clean and comfortable. The only negative was hearing every step of the people above us. I would ask for top floor next time

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding an incident involving a front desk staff member named Justin during our recent stay. His behavior toward my family was not only unprofessional but also raised serious concerns about possible discrimination and harassment. On the night in question, around 11 PM, Justin , over the phone ,aggressively questioning how many people were staying with us. Despite having no valid reason to suspect any policy violation, he continued to harass my mother over the phone, making her feel targeted and uncomfortable. His tone and persistence were completely inappropriate, especially at that hour. When I attempted to address the situation calmly in person, Justin responded by yelling at me hysterically instead of listening or de-escalating the situation. His reaction was not only unprofessional but deeply concerning and distressing to both me and my family. Given the nature of his behavior, we believe that Justin's actions were not only inappropriate but may have been motivated by racial bias, which is completely unacceptable in any establishment that claims to value diversity and respect. We hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately. No guest should ever have to feel harassed, disrespected, or discriminated against while staying at your property.

We had a problem with our Vrbo reservation and no place to sleep. I did call the hotel at 10:30 pm and they were able to accommodated us for 2 rooms. Excellent customer service, rooms were clean, and good free breakfast.

It is a very nice hotel with comfortable quality amenities, but I wouldn't recommend this place. I think they assume that people staying are just a bunch of foreign tourists coming to see Yosemite once -- so they don't care about repeat business. The staff is rude. We were eating breakfast and had the sliding door open to let in fresh air. My partner is immune-compromised and we always wear a mask and stay outdoors as much as possible. A cleaning staff came and yelled that we can't open the sliding door because the a/c is on, then proceeded to slam the sliding door shut. Then she went about her business like that was normal. She didn't bother talking to us, just seemed irritated and made excessive noise emptying the trash can. Her demeanor was so abrasive that I went to speak to the manager later. The manager knew who I was talking about, and defended the cleaning staff. My partner and I rarely travel together because of his chronic condition, so this was supposed to be a special couple of days at a nice hotel. We both came out feeling unheard. The next day they had a big water leak and the alarm rang so everybody had to evacuate the building. Everybody was standing outside for maybe 30 minutes to an hour, yet no one from the hotel came to explain anything to us.Stay away!!

Worst management of a hotel ever. If your upstairs guests are making a racket at 4:30 am, you’ll be told there’s nothing they can do and that “they’re allowed to get ready” even if the noise continues for 2 hours. First time leaving a review for a hotel in 20 years of traveling. That’s how bad our family’s experience was at this hotel.

Great place to stay. We had rm 420 which was a wonderful suite. Breakfast was good, my only suggestion is to have drip coffee and not instant. Staff was very helpful and kind. We highly recommend this place!

Excellent hospitality! From the moment we registered to our check-out, we encountered friendly staff members who went above and beyond to serve us. For example, one receptionist offered help in choosing a souvenir from the gift shop; another, checked on the sauna that was not heating up and found someone to re-set the dial. Overall we had a good stay, nice helpful staff and a good location. Breakfast was okay but quite basic, also crowded at peak times. Only negative was despite hotel having a no smoking policy it was obvious someone had been smoking in our room, i reported this to reception who was very apologetic but due to the hotel being full they couldn't move us.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were nice. The breakfast was a little blah. The coffee was bad with only powder creamer, no waffle maker, no change of breakfast meats between days and they didn’t have regular water, only have flavored water. But overall a good experience.

We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We never had an issue finding a parking space. The pool and hot tub were great, as was the breakfast! Would definitely reccomend!
