The bed was comfortable, but the room was shabby for the price paid. It was in fair condition, but looked very old and had not been maintained well. There was a dehumidifier in the room (definitely needed), but it was full and needed emptying. The towels were rather threadbare. We had asked for and were given a later checkout, but twice in our extra hour, someone knocked on our door to come clean. The pool needed cleaning.

The rooms where not good. Dirty. Bathroom,air vents, floors,Cracks everywhere in walls. Ceiling cracked and sagging in area over beds. Trash in hall by elevator all weekend. Toilet and tub clogged. This was an upgraded room after there was a problem at ck in with non upgraded room. Outside looked terrible front door to lobby was very uninviting and hard to see. Elevator not inspected. Pool was filthy as well. Currently renting to a lot of weekly or monthly guest and it just looks like a run down apartment complex. I would have gotten my money back and left but I couldn't because it was booked through hotels.com I paid upfront in full. If this is how all Wyndham properties are going to be I WILL NEVER STAY WITH THAT CHAIN AGAIN. I would add photos but this site won't let me upload

Check in was quick as we had prepaid online. We were given keys to a room, went to the room to find it occupied by someone already! Back to the desk and received keys to a second room. The toilet in this room would not flush, we were given a plunger, that did not work. So we moved to room number three. This room was cold but clean and we had no further problems. We had planned to do laundry at this hotel but all the washers and dryers were broken. We also got up early one morning to use the Fitness Room only to find that all the cardio equipment was broken.

The pictures online are very misleading. Elevator stopped working and it didn't seem as they where in a hurry to get it fixed. It is not a smoke free facility. Price was decent but I guess the old saying stands true you get what you pay for. Breakfast was subpar. This is my second time staying at a Wyndham property i have been disappointed both times and they both were in Savannah.

A really nice two night stay. The free breakfast was plentiful with choice. Lots of free parking, and a bus stop 2 mins walk away, which takes you to the Historic areas of Savannah. Also there are several restaurants just a few minutes away. Friendly staff at hotel too

Above average amenities. Air conditioner makes funny noises. Nearly all the fitness equipment either would not turn on or was malfunctioning in some way. The fitness room has been ignored for quite some time it would appear.

Visiting due to scheduled medical procedure early next day. Very close to hospital. Check in office staff very friendly and accommodating to request for first floor room. (Great music in lobby!) Room numbers are very hard to read from vehicle. Well lit parking spaces! Mattress wasn’t very comfortable but room was very clean with all items expected, ie fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Room rate was very desirable especially with its proximity to medical facilities.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We stayed on night on our way to the mountains on NC. At check in there was no AC in the lobby it smelled moldy and musty. We were given a 3rd floor room and wouldn’t you know the elevator was out because "it was hot outside" ????. There were vagrants hanging around the parking lot and the doors to the stairwells were wide open making the place unsecure. And finally the room. On the surface the room appeared ok it was old and musty but for the price it should’ve sufficed. We slept got up early and headed to our final destination and my girlfriend began itching here head. The itching got worse over our 6 hour trip. Sure enough she had gotten LICE from the room. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and this has never happened. I would not recommend this hotel at all for the cleanliness alone.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed at. There were dead bugs in the bathroom behind the door, red stains in the bathroom that looked like blood. Just poor conditions. Staff was nice

We had to switch rooms due to the first room being dusty, the bathroom had black mold, and some kind of bug in the window seal. The next room we were moved to wasn’t better but better than where we were. There was still black mold in the bathroom! And the room needed to be dusted as well.

Hotel was in rough shape. In two corners of our room, part of the ceiling was falling in, probably from a leaking roof. The smoke alarm was missing from our room and the sink was dirty. When I complained, the front desk person told me I was wrong about the ceiling (only recanted when I showed her photos) and told me the previous guest must have stolen the smoke alarm. She did offer us a new room, which we accepted, and that was a bit cleaner. The overall impression we had of this hotel is that they were not going to win any prizes for cleanliness or repairs.

The A/C didn't cool the room adequately, even though I had it set on the lowest temperature setting and highest fan speed. When I first entered the room I searched it because there was a distinct odor of marijuana in the room. I didn't find any and it dissipated after the A/C had been running for a while.

Check in was great. Front desk was very friendly. Easy to get in the rooms. Very confusing where the room numbers were though. One elevator for the hotel and no signs where the stairs were. Room was dated and definitely patched together. We had a broken bed frame on the side closest to the door. If you laid down on it, the mattress would flip up. Breakfast was a standard breakfast like most hotels. Good location.

There was no fan or exhaust in bathroom, heat/ac was not working or when put on the windows seems so old that all the heat went out the window even though they wer closed.Plus the AC was very loud and so was the frig. the beds were not spaced evenly, one had room for two chairs the other was so slose to wall could not get out that way, had to go around and could not even get a suitcase in the space. poor design on placeing furnoiture. Overall the place needs refurbishing/updating.

First off the bed was not comfortable. Adding to that the pillows were flat and only like squares. Not a true pillow and flat as a pancake which means that I had a horrible nights sleep. Second the bed spread had a big ole cigarette burn hole it it. In the bathroom the toulet paper holder came out of the wall everytime you tried to dispense the TP and I went to use the wash cloth to wipe my face and when I unfolded it there were grease markes on the one side of the rag. Glad we only stayed one night.

The hotel could improve their breakfast area cleanliness. Room housecleaning should respect the do not disturb sign. They tried to open door while family members were sleeping or showering. Hotel staff should not tolerate quest that smoke and conduct vulgar conversations in the hotels public spaces, like hallways or breakfast area.

The owner was so rude and they kicked me out because of family that wasnt even with me. Im 35yo female alone and didnt have anything to do with them. They record and threaten trying to intimidate people. Also make people wait across the street for a ride in the cold with all belongings. Worst experience ive ever had and would highly urge you to stay anywhere but baymont midtown savannah!

The check in and check out were easy. The help at the front desk was quick to solve problems, such as the fact that I walked out of my room and the person at the front desk was very light hearted with my predicament and gave me a new key without any issue. He made it easy to change our rooms to the top floor at check in and was able to put our rooms next to each other. The food was okay. The coffee was great, in my standards. The hotel was old but the rooms, halls, elevator and dining room were kept clean. Most of the staff was very pleasant and eager to assist everyone as quickly and efficiently as they could and always with a happy heart and a warm smile.

I called the front desk and asked for a late check out. She said it was fine, I just had to pay the late check out fee. No problem at all. At noon, a man comes barging into my room screaming at me to leave. He proceeded to keep my door wide open after I told I was naked under the sheets. He said he didn’t care and was calling the police in 5 minutes if I wasn’t gone. I will be calling customer service in a bit. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

First of all when we got to the hotel and we got keys for our room and when we came back later that night someone was in our room and we went to the front desk and demanding that we get a new room. We could not leave due to the fact that every other hotel was booked so we were stuck having to stay the night. But my girlfriend was extremely upset about the situation. Then the new room we got had two twin beds when we had paid for a king suite. This type of service is terrible. I also talked to another couple at the hotel who said that had the same thing happen to them, this hotel was double booking rooms. We asked for a refund for the second night have went to another hotel, but I still have not been refunded.

Horrible hotel to stay at. My husband and I are disabled and I booked a first floor room assessable bathroom a week before my stay. When I arrived they gave me a third floor room that was not assessable. Went down and complained and they gave us a first floor room that was assessable, but it wasn’t very clean at all it was as if they half assed it. The fridge didn’t work at all, bathroom door didn’t lock at all. On my second day in the hotel, my husband and I were sleeping and there was a bunch of banging on our door thankfully we had our deadbolt on the door because maintenance unlocked our room trying to barge in. Then a couple minutes later my husband found out our room keys didn’t work and we went to the front desk, they then told us oh we didn’t even know you were in that room it says in our system that no one was in that room. They gave a bad apology, they didn’t want to talk at all. The front desk people don’t really want to talk to you like at all. They do the bare minimum! The only good thing about the room was how big the bathroom was. Would not recommend to anyone and definitely won’t be going back. Wish they offered to partially refund me due to all the issues. But they didn’t care.

Based on old reviews, I'm happy to report no cockroaches. The place was clean but the hotel a bit dated. Walls could use a fresh coat of paint and was a little musty but can't complain when you're that close to the historic downtown. You're 100 feet from the bus stop that takes you downtown in 15 minutes for a dollar. The whole area is nice but you can tell all the buildings in the area are on the older side. If you're on a budget this place is worth it. Free breakfast and parking and comfortable enough if you just need a place to sleep.

For what you pay it’s great! A 5-10 minute drive to everything Savannah has to offer. Staff was super nice and very accommodating. Free breakfast was great too! Free parking and the ice machines all worked.

the remote in the room was not working. They gave me another, witch also did not work . The toilet did not flush properly. I told them in the morning. When I came back around 3pm it still was not fixed. I know motel breakfasts are not great. This was particularly terrible. Bagels were so stale you could pound nails with them. The egg patties were like rubber.

We were visiting family for the holidays in the Savannah area. We book our stay for several days. Our grandboys stayed with us at the hotel for most days. House keeping checked on us daily for any fresh towels , linens or room nessecities. Breakfast was ok. Waffles, bagels breads, pastries, cereals, yogurts, juices, scrambled egg patties and sausages. Coffee available all day in lobby.

It was just a ok hotel for a budget vacation. The room kinda smelled and the air only wanted to work on its own time. It's definitely an older hotel that needs a major upgrade! The breakfast was decent with yummy waffles. It had a pool we enjoyed.

Charged an extra 50 for incidentals. Said it was refunded 2-3 days after checkout. Room was dirty, they DO HAVE GERMAN ROACHES. only saw one but that means there’s more. Pubes on bathroom walls and cigarette burns on doors and walls. Beds were comfy and front desk staff was nice. Housekeeping does not speak English and didn’t understand when we said to come back later, so they busted in and cleaned anyway. They didn’t vacuum though as to not wake the baby. Pool was fine, breakfast was okay. All in all, you get what you pay for. But there should never be roaches.
