Baymont by Wyndham Savannah Midtown

We got there close to the time we said. THERE WAS NO one there.

The chair in our room was filthy and holding up a broken lamp. Our charger just fell out of the wall outlet by the bed. The carpet felt dirty. The pool was concreted in. Beds looked clean and were comfortable.

Rooms smelled like smoke, cigar or cigarette burns in the couch, can hear everything going on outside the room. There is no pool.

The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast with waffles. If you are looking for eggs and bacon, they don't provide that. My room was fine. It could use some updating and repair (the shower dripped, the sink faucet had little pressure, and the AC was noisy) but for the price, these things were not totally unexpected. The place was very clean. I felt safe. It was quiet and the parking lot was well-lit. Overall, I was pleased with my stay. I was there on business, so I didn't spend a lot of time in the room. It was a quiet, safe place to sleep which is what I needed, and it didn't bust my budget which was nice.
