Beautiful hotel. I stayed in a park view room, and everything was great. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was humongous. The pool area was nice and relaxing. I also enjoyed the restaurant attached to the hotel. The location was walkable to the river/downtown area (15 minutes). The personal driver was a nice addition, just needed to book a time.

We loved Hotel Bardo for a girls trip! The hotel is immaculate, and very newly updated. The rooms were gorgeous, straight out of a magazine. They offered a free shuttle to different destinations. The pool was well organized, its not the largest pool so they have a system of turning over the chairs and a little bar area you can sit at and order food/drinks. It's a little further away from the main streets and shops, but we didn't mind! On the weekend there was a farmers market directly across the street which was fun to walk through.

We loved our stay at Hotel Bardo. This was our first visit to Savannah. The hotel aesthetic was over the top gorgeous. The staff were helpful at every encounter. Spent a couple hours at the pool and enjoyed the vibe, which included a great mix of young and old having a great time. We ordered lunch and drinks poolside and the food was delicious. We tried their pizza and also French fries. Poolside drinks were also very good. The spicy margarita was so good. The rooms were beautiful and had everything you need, including a Dyson hair dryer and even a nice steamer. The bed was comfortable and we slept well and had no noise issues. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning to Savannah and staying at Hotel Bardo.

This is a beautifully remodeled property, it makes you feel very VIP! Although my room was luxurious and spacious, I wish it had been better insulated from neighbor’s noises; I could hear their voices and tv. Also, the sand around the outdoor/pool area makes it very messy to walk on a rainy day.

Absolutely loved hotel bardo. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The building itself as well as the pool and seating area were beautiful. Staff was very professional and nice. Only thing I will say is the check in area was a bit tight and awkward because it was right near the elevator in a very small space. Coffee in the morning was very good. We would highly recommend hotel bardo and would definitely stay again!

We had a nice stay for 3 nights. Room was very comfortable, although not cleaned great and never enough towels. Restaurants and bar: incredibly overpriced. $26 for a small margarita. For lunch, my daughter ordered the "chef's crudo" which is described as catch of the day. What arrived were 4 paper thin slivers of tuna (less than an ounce) with oil and mayo dotted on the plate for $22. Spa: another rip off - 2 massages and 1 facial were over $1,000 because they automatically add 20 percent gratuity and a "location fee" or something ridiculous like that. Not to mention, my masseur literally only rubbed one of my legs. Overall, not a bad place to stay and within walking distance of all the sites, just don't eat, drink or spa there.

The grounds were aesthetically pleasing to the eye featuring beautiful atrium and pool, palm trees, sitting areas, etc. the room was attractive, although beware the bathroom floors are very slippery after using shower. The water seems to spread without absorbing. We had to request rug and towels to absorb excess water. Also, after the housekeeping came, we were missing our remote control and requested another one but did not receive it until the next day, so we could not use TV that night. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very accommodating staff and a beautiful pool oasis on the heart of Savannah. We had problems with the sound proofing in our room which meant that we could hear our neighbors conversations which consistently kept us awake. The hotel staff did compensate us for this issue very generously however.

I believe they may have been top in service however, having recently stayed at The Wynn in Las Vegas and understanding what a Condé Naste hotel winner should have, I found them to be somewhat disappointing. Everyone was very kind, however our room was unable to get below 72 at night (we need it colder to sleep well), and we ended up with a fan because we didn’t want to move. They offered to move us but the disruption for the short time we stayed wasn’t worth it. It’s very old character and the park is amazing! Just an underwhelming experience especially for what we paid. I will definitely stay on the river from now on, as this was not worth the trip or the location.

Very nice hotel in a lovely area across from a pretty park, with a great little swimming pool. However room wasn’t entirely comfortable: no real draws, no reading light, and a broken TV remote. Still, I’m not sure one could do much better in Savannah. It’s a sophisticated, well run place.

The Bardo is absolutely stunning. We only stayed for one night and really wish we could have been there for longer! The staff were so lovely and attentive. The room was impeccable: beautifully decorated and with a huge bath! Even though our room faced onto the street, it was really quiet and the bed could not have been comfier. The pool area is lovely, and they have a great selection of smaller bites and drinks. The location could not be better either! The complimentary continental breakfast was a great treat (the pastries were delicious). I cannot imagine there is anywhere better to stay in Savannah!

It wasn’t until the manager got involved that we got moved to the room next door. The new room was comfortable; however, the lights in the new room seemed to be controlled by another room. They came back on after we turned them off. So strange. The front desk attendants did not seem to know that we were given late checkout and locked us out of our room. Over all the hotel seemed nice, I think we were just unlucky. They gave us a resort credit which we did not have time to use since our trip was planned. Great location on the park.

This hotel is brand new. We truly enjoyed the aesthetics of the hotel and how kid-friendly it is. The pool area and its staff are amazing. Unfortunately, we had 2 experiences that we feel are unacceptable in a hotel of this quality. First of all, my wife didn’t have dinner on our last night because they lost/forget her in-room dinning order twice. When I told the reception, they were aware of their communications issues with the kitchen. Then, when we left, we had to wait 30 minutes for the valet because they all needed, and I quote them, “to be available to accommodate two VIPs”. It’s only when I told them to give my car key back so I can pick up my car myself that they reacted. Obviously, it’s insulting that a hotel like this would treat its guest differently and accordingly to its perception of their status. To summarize, our global appreciation of this hotel is that it charges you among Savannah’s top rate without offering the service quality that should come with it. I hope they fix this because it’s a beautiful place with friendly staff. They are just not ready yet.

I so wanted to like this hotel, but my stay really was a disappointment, especially given the cost of the room. There were issues with service (ie. I called down for a toothbrush that was never delivered, there was no room service menu in the room, I made a reservation to have the hotel car take me and my family to a restaurant, but they gave the car to someone else, leaving us 30 minutes late because we had no transportation). But the major issue had to do with my car. I drive an electric car, and I phoned two days prior to make sure the hotel had a charging station. They said they did. I arrived and told the valet the car needed to be charged. 20 minutes later, I logged onto my car app and saw the car wasn’t charging. I went down to the valet, who said he’d plugged it in, but he’d double check. 20 minutes later, it still wasn’t charging. The valet let me see the charging station, and I noticed two lights saying the station wasn’t working. At that point, the valet said he’d check with the hotel’s engineer and in the meantime, he’d use the public charging station across the street. The engineer said the charger had been problematic for awhile and it wasn’t working. The charger across the street was busy. Eventually, I parked the car in a lot near the Thompson hotel, about a 35 minute walk from the Bardo. I wound up spending most of my one afternoon in Savannah dealing w the car instead of playing in the pool w my daughter and seeing the city. Huge disappointment.

We absolutely had the best stay at Hotel Bardo! It is a gorgeous property in the best location right on Forsyth Park. We also were easily able to walk to City Market and the riverfront. The service, the rooms, the staff, and the property is 10/10! We also ate at Saint Bibiana, which was one of the best dinners we have had in a long time. Thank you Hotel Bardo for an amazing weekend!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Bardo and didn't want to leave! The room and property was gorgeous, staff were super friendly, and it's an amazing setting on the side of Forsyth Park. The only thing I would suggest to improve is a more generous breakfast offer - it is listed as continental but it's just coffee/tea and some mini pastries. We will definitely stay again if/when we are back in Savannah!
