Parking to use the amenities was terrible. I get they have shuttles but that takes a long time to go to your unit and back to restaurant or water park. I wouldn’t stay here again Becky this inconvenience. Overall the resort was nice just wish there was more parking options.

Nice resort between pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Across the street from the visitors center. Nice pools, mini golf. Only thing that is weird is you have to pay for the water park at the same rate someone off the street has to pay.

Resort was Awesome . Everyone there was extremely sweet and welcoming . Definitely recommend as a place to stay . Only thing is the pull out couch bed is extremely uncomfortable . Other than that I enjoyed my stay . The waterpark was so much fun also and the arcade room!!

Property is very big a little over whelming. It only has 2 pools that are very small for the size of resort it was always full no space to sit or swim. If you are not a member of the place you have to pay for the water park that is also very small for the entrance fee they charge.

Nice place and very clean but be aware, they will try to sell you a time share. Also, the waterpark cost extra - $35 for adults and $17.50 for children. Parking can be difficult but they do offer shuttles.

It was a beautiful resort and very friendly staff. I was a bit disappointed when I found out the water park wasn’t included with our stay which I find a bit odd. I also didn’t appreciate that they try to push you to join their timeshare when we were there to relax and explore the area.

Reason we stayed there was the indoors waterpark. We didn't get to go to the Waterpark because they closed it for weather. With the construction going on its hard to find the lobby at first. Normally this would be a good place to stay. I don't think we will be back for a while. I would say take the shuttle down to the restaurant and waterpark because there isn't enough parking.

Love, the fact that you can text and ask questions (waterpark hours, and prices) and get an immediate response. And also request housekeeping services. Room was spacious and equipped for everything we needed for a weeks stay. Would highly recommend this property.

This was a wonderful resort and perfect for Christmas vacation. The staff was very friendly and the express check out was a bonus. I appreciated that the resort had lots of amenities and the rooms were spacious and very clean. This is perfect for families l.

The room was very large and worked for my family of 5 but we had issues. We asked for cribs and where given 2 playards full lf old baby snacks that we had to clean them. I asked to change because they put us on the 3rd floor with 1 year old twins. We were moved to a room that had so many bugs EVERYWHERE. I called to have us switched right back to the old room. I have never seen a hotel rool with roaches, lady bugs ect everywhere that room had not been ckeaned for months. The manager did move us back to our original room them gave us a credit but i couldnt sleep thinkinh bugs were on me. Another thing we spent 1100 on our reservation and the water park was not included. Just to sit and watch my daughter i had to pay 40. How do you pay over a 1000 and still have to pay for the water park which was why i originally booked. I didnt have a good experience and i was shocked considering this hotel is highly rated.

Check in was easy, the resort is a beautiful place, friendly staff, our room was spacious clean and beautiful with a gorgeous view. The only downside I would say, was the bed wasn't very comfortable, and being on the bottom floor we could hear the people above us very loudly, and the pool wasn't very clean. There wasn't very much parking, but that wasn't much of an issue for us, and they have the shuttles to take you around the resort. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be back. We didn't have time for the indoor water park, so we hope to try that next time.

Great for families who don’t intend on staying on the property. If you intend to have the hotel be your whole stay like us, don’t go. If you want to relax by the pool, don’t go it’ll be impossible. Pools are packed. Property very crowded. The the relaxing time away from home we planned. No balcony or outside chairs at your room. We had one window the size you’d find in a bathroom. We left early!!!!!

Our stay was very nice. We had some problems with the fireplace not working but they fixed it right away. Front door was sticking very bad and would only open about 2 feet. They only other disappoint we had was the mattress on the pull out sofa was only about 2 inches thick and very unconfortable.

This was our first time to Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort. We have been to many other resorts in the Gatlinburg area, but this one is definitely the best in terms of quality with regards to cost. We stayed in a 1 bedroom king suite in the 4000 building, and it was plenty of space for a family of 5 (3 of them being children under 7) . The room was much more luxurious than the pictures online would suggest! The children loved the water park, arcade, and outdoor activities at the top of the mountain. Also the service was incredible throughout the entire resort. With a quick text, anything requested would be fulfilled very quickly. I highly recommend for any families looking for a great place to stay with iconic views. You cannot beat this place.

Our overall stay was really good. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a larger villa with a jacuzzi, which was nice. It was an ADA room, which was not really an issue until we got neighbors who constantly let their door slam shut. The neighbors on the other side let their kids scream until 1 am. Aside from that, the room was wonderful! The bed and pillows were comfortable, the jacuzzi was relaxing, and we were able to do laundry before leaving so we returned home with clean clothes! We did not go to the pool or waterpark. We had planned to go to the waterpark on a rainy day, but a bad storm rolled in and they closed it for the rest of the day. The storm did some damage and they were not able to get it reopened until mid-afternoon the next day. They did a great job of communicating when things were closed and about events that were happening via text. When we requested something, it was taken care of in less than 15 minutes. We played mini golf and ate at the restaurant for breakfast one morning. Even though we did not utilize all of the amenities, we would probably stay here again. The location was very close to Gatlinburg and not too far from Pigeon Forge. When you go, be sure to go to the building across from the waterpark entrance and get your discount tickets for the waterpark and area attractions!

Great property! We enjoyed the cleanliness, the indoor water park and the facilities. Our stay was great however please be honest about the length of the timeshare presentation. What was supposed to be 90 minutes turned into 3.5 hours.

We had a rough experience. The check-in was awful. I could see 6 employees behind the office wall but only one person was checking people in, despite a long line. When it finally got to my turn the employee was short and unfriendly. There was an unexpected pet charge of $150 and other unpleasantness but the kicker was that she would only check me into one of our two rooms, and made my son join the now 6-person line to check in instead of helping him while we were standing there. There are zero amenities - not even a hair dryer - and you have to pay for the water park. Anyone considering buying a timeshare there should also know that the presentation is closer to 3 hours than the 90 minutes they claim, and you still have to pay for amenities, AND might not get the room you requested.

Our rooms were supposed to have two beds and they also did not. We had one bed and one couch. After three hours we politely asked to leave and were met with three very rude staff members that proceeded to insult us for 15 additional minutes.

The $103 resort fee, along with the $35 per adult and $25 per child a day charge for the water park, was an unexpected expense. While I’m sure it was in the fine print, I assumed that since the hotel is advertised as a water park resort, access to the water park would be included in the stay. I generally felt safe during my visit, except for one interaction that left me uneasy. I was asked whether my husband was with me and if my friend’s husband was accompanying her. In hindsight, I realized I had shared personal information with a complete stranger—all in the name of a timeshare sales pitch. While I understand this is part of their sales strategy, I don’t think guests should be asked such personal questions, especially when they are already paying to stay. If I had come expecting a timeshare presentation in exchange for a free trip, that would be different. Otherwise, I could have stayed at a nearby hotel or cabin for a better price. That said, the staff I interacted with were excellent. My review is not a reflection of them, as they were simply doing what they were trained to do. Our overall stay was really good. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a larger villa with a jacuzzi, which was nice. It was an ADA room, which was not really an issue until we got neighbors who constantly let their door slam shut. The neighbors on the other side let their kids scream until 1 am. Aside from that, the room was wonderful! The bed and pillows were comfortable, the jacuzzi was relaxing, and we were able to do laundry before leaving so we returned home with clean clothes! We did not go to the pool or waterpark. We had planned to go to the waterpark on a rainy day, but a bad storm rolled in and they closed it for the rest of the day. The storm did some damage and they were not able to get it reopened until mid-afternoon the next day. They did a great job of communicating when things were closed and about events that were happening via text. When we requested something, it was taken care of in less than 15 minutes. We played mini golf and ate at the restaurant for breakfast one morning. Even though we did not utilize all of the amenities, we would probably stay here again. The location was very close to Gatlinburg and not too far from Pigeon Forge. When you go, be sure to go to the building across from the waterpark entrance and get your discount tickets for the waterpark and area attractions!

I came to the resort with my 7 year old grandson. The host gave us a room that we had to park away from and walk up a hill. He had already mentioned bears and all I could think was what am I going to do if I encounter a bear walking up this hill alone with my grandson? I wish he could have put us with a better accessible room. This was the only issue I had with the property. The rooms were perfect and had all of the amenities. My grandson loved the water park and I loved the fact that public transportation did make a stop at the resort.

We had so much fun. More than expected. Staff was friendly. We just had a great time. Very close to Gatlinburg. Loved the fact that once we arrived and parked, we didn’t have to drive again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Front desk staff were fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. Some of the activities staff were a little less than kind, but honestly, as sad as it is, rudeness is expected. The amenities were great, the room was perfect. A little disappointed in the hours for Southern Comfort restaurant, we were looking forward to eating there, but their hours didn’t align with our schedule. Overall, we will probably stay here again sometime. Our kids loved it and it was nice for us. Conveniently located near everything.

The rooms were very clean. We enjoyed having the resort shuttle to use, which made loops through the property very frequently. Food at the restaurants was pretty good, but quite expensive and not a ton of choices. Loved the putt putt course, especially since our room was so close to it. My kids LOVED the water park, but we never visited the outdoor pools as they were always very packed with adults. Staff around the whole resort was always so kind and helpful. There is a Starbucks in the marketplace which is awesome, just wish it opened before 9. All of the amenities were so cool for our family. Arcade, gift shop, marketplace..it was a whole experience. The rooms have very thin walls. So you can hear your neighbors partying, the specific TV show their watching, etc. You can also smell everything they are doing.. I do wish I realized how the rooms were set up in each building. Our room was in one of the buildings at the top of the mountain, however our only window faced the parking lot. I would have definitely paid more if I knew how to choose the room option on the backside of the building with the balcony. Overall my family had a great time and will most likely be back in the future. I definitely recommend staying multiple nights as there is so much to do on the property, in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and all of the beautiful trails that are near by.

First of all there should be bigger signs at the entrance from the main road. The room was very clean. The menu did not have a lot to choose from, my omelette was perfect . On the weekends the game room should stay opened until 1 am. Overall this is a nice place to stay.

This place is so beautiful and so friendly! The building we stayed in was only 2 weeks old so everything was new! We needed extra blankets and all we did was text and it was at our door! Westgate has got it down! Several pools and the onsite restaurant was so good for breakfast and dinner. Definitely will be coming back!!!!

I thought the inside pool was included in the room cost. The water park was an additional charge for a smallpool whiched happened to be dirty/filthy. The communication about hiden fees wasnt expected. Short staff and very pushy sells/ staff. Not very friendly in the checkin/out area. Loud and noisy environment constantly sound like someone was trying to break into the room due to have to have the ac so slow to keep the room cool in additionto the fan . The transportationaround the area seemed to be a cool idea until one guy tried to run us over and was clearly speedingpast us even though there was a sign that said watch for kids and people. The food is okay the ribs are way to over seasoned with bbq. Dont waste your money here. Wish i could get my money back and get anotherhotel room somewhereelsewhere

We LOVED this resort. The room was spacious, clean, and such a cool vibe. The overall property was gorgeous, and unique. We loved the putt putt, as well as the bonfire pit at night. My son also loved the arcade. This resort is very close to the Smoky mountains which was perfect. Our only complaint was the walls are very thin and we were able to hear our neighbors on both sides very clearly.
