This hotel is located off of a highway with a dingy, pothole filled road to enter. The pool was small and filled with bugs and what they call a "spa" is a small dirty hot tub with green colored water. Our keys kept getting deactivated and I had to go down literally every single day of my stay to get them reactivated. Don't waste your money on this location.

Pool, hot tub, and gym were unavailable for most of the stay. Parking is quite limited and not sure if most of those cars were even those staying at the hotel. The staff not once said good morning in the breakfast area even on Christmas morning. There were two friendly staff throughout the stay otherwise the rest were not. Music selection in the hotel shuttle shazamed as “me on top of you”. I personally will not choose to stay here for those reasons.

Not a good stay. Rough area and completely unhelpful staff. Catalytic converters stolen right out the front door. Assistant manager couldn’t be bothered to check for any video. Then tried to charge me another half day rate for a hour and half late check out because I had no vehicle since the theft.

Front desk staff very nice. The bed and sheets did have stains but not bad enough to complain. Room cleaning was not requested during stay so really can’t review that. Breakfast was good. They close the pool promptly at closing time the hot tub jets didn’t work but it was still warm enough to keep me warm while windy outside.

Booked this hotel after vacationing for a month and I specifically looked for something with a hot tub because it was the last of traveling and wanted to go home relaxed. But no. Pool and hot tub were out of service . The room was clean but found a blood on a pillow .

The rooms do not look like the pictures online. The hotel room was not clean, there was no phone in the room, towels, bed covers and everything was already dirty. Curtains were filthy and there was dust so bad you could see it and i have allergies. We did not stay at the room! We requested a refund and the owner has yet to give my money back. He had me send him pics and told me he’d get back with me but never did. The owner/manager BAKHSHI,ARUN is a complete fraud and doesn’t like to give refunds! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It’s creepy looking and worn down. We had no idea but we left and went to Hilton by the Galleria and it was amazing!!! But please don’t go to this creepy establishment.

Not what I was expecting from a Wingate. The public areas were nice and clean but the rooms need to be updated. The tub was filthy, stains on the carpet, the room was musty, curtains were barely hanging on the rack, and so much more. If you’re looking for a very cheap 1 night stay before flight I guess this would be the place. We will not book here again.

When I was in the process of booking this hotel they were mixed reviews but I booked it and did it by faith. When I got there it didn't seem so bad that first night but that following morning I have found a bed bug and while they did reimburse me for that one night and move me to another room it just felt very uneased after that. The staff was pretty nice and very effective with giving me a refund and moving me to another room. But it can't use a lot of work. I was told we'll be open but it wasn't open and it's not going to be open until the end of February. What I stay again no and that's only because of what I found the first night there were cracks in the windows and the bathroom looked a little mildewed. The breakfast is very vague they only serve grits, eggs, sausage, tater tots. And then they have waffles and coffee and cereal and other basic things but it's the same thing everyday

Everyone at the hotel was friendly, and the room was fine for one night. I absolutely appreciated the airport shuttle. To be honest, however— I would not stay here again. There is a very strong odor, possibly aggressive cleaning materials, mixed with old/stale smoke? It seems to permeate in the lobbies and all hallways. Our hotel room itself also had a strange smell. It felt clean, just smelly. Because you were unable to open any of the windows, it was difficult to air out. Due to an early morning flight, we tried to ignore it for one night, but I would not have stayed here a second evening. I had chosen this hotel because of the hot tub. It was located outside and adjacent to a freeway— extremely loud to try to sit out there. It was also not hot, perhaps 98° at most, and is in need of being re-finished to be inviting (looks clean— but brown scale stains were unsightly).

My stay was not the best, the elevator was scary and barely worked was moving without the door being closed! I get up to my room, the window was foggy as if I’m in a car hot boxing the room had an awful smell, I went to turn on the air to air it out thankfully that helped. The bathroom, the drain plug was completely loose, I attempted to close it and realized the whole thing comes off. My remote had no back to it, the phone inside the room did not work when I tried to call for more towels. Yeah it served it’s purpose as far as somewhere to lay my head but I will not be returning

I really had a lovely stay. I had an overnight and decided to go with Wingate and was not disappointed. I love that the hotel was very clean, smelled amazing, and the staff were all nice and friendly. The room was really nice — clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I had a fantastic rest too! The bed was comfy. I did order takeout because I was advised that it was best to avoid being in any unsafe danger by going out at night in the area, but I still felt safe and comfortable during my time there. Highly recommend if you just have an overnight stay and want somewhere comfortable to sleep.

Great room and comfy bed but hit water was not hot cold was not cold and no fan in the bathroom made it extremely hot in there, windows were dirty. Only one ice machine and no vending. Not really anything to do around here. Pool was nice small but nice. Could of used some take out menus in the room. Nice to have shuttle service.

Our daughter missed her international flight and we were hundreds of miles away to help her. She’s a young adult but had never flown by herself before. We worked with her to get on a different flight the next morning and now she needed a place to spend the night. I called this hotel at 10 pm on a Monday night and explained the situation. They were PHENOMENAL! Once I booked the room, the airport shuttle left to pick up our daughter. She said when she got there, they were amazing and had everything ready for her as she had a very early flight the next morning. I appreciate the staff who helped make a tough situation better and seamless. Thank you so much!

They sent the hotel van to the wrong terminal! We got on a van for the hotel Wyndham Wingate but it was the wrong hotel so we had to ride back to the airport & get the hotel Clerk to send a shuttle to the correct gate. I’m tired & angry about their lousy communication.

Arriving after-hours, shuttle transport wasn’t available. The night property manager had ordered an Uber to pick me up. Fast, clean, courteous service with a smile! We need more places like this one! Keep up the great work!

Make sure you follow up on the $50 deposit they charge you for. 2 weeks passed and they had not reimbursed me the deposit. I had to call and follow up. After speaking to 2 different people who were giving me all conflicting excuses stating they never charged me for it, I finally was able to get them to understand that they had in fact charged me. But after arguing with 2 different people. They realized they were wrong after confirming with the manager. Keep in mind, that the 2 people I spoke with claimed they were managers. Then later on I discovered they were not when one of them put me and hold and straight up said “hold on let me get my manager”. I could hear them speaking and the actual manager confirmed that they charged me and said they needed to put the money back.

I was pleasantly surprised that the bed was not so hard or firm. It was a comfortable stay. They have a shuttle and are willing to take you a few blocks away to get fast food and drinks. Our check in clerk was not so friendly though and failed to give us the shuttle schedule for next morning. There’s room for improvement.

The only issue was getting around. You either need a car or an Uber to get around. For those of us traveling with the intentions of walking, this would not be the place for you. But if you just need a place to sleep, and are counting on calling a Uber, you should be good. The breakfast options are very limited, and aren’t the healthiest. So if you have diet limitations make sure to call and ask what they serve.

The airport shuttle stopped at 11pm. As an international travel I did not have phone service to call. Had to borrow a phone only to find out there was no service. Many other hotels had shuttle s running. Linens felt worn. Bathroom amenities were not complete. There was two body lotion and no shampoo. Breakfast was not good at all. Coffee machine in our room didn’t work.
