The pictures on the internet do not match what the actually rooms are. Charged $100 deposit. Got to the room it smelt like musty stale cigarettes. The sheets had holes in it. Also a huge stain on the sheets. The room wasn’t very clean (bathroom, sinks) Parking was very tight.

The beds were pretty hard, the property could use some attention, but the rooms were clean, it was a great place to stay of you're going to the Cascade Amphitheater. They won't let you check in early, so keep that in mind. Parking was hectic and limited.

This property is seriously dated. The pool is not open, the shower was lacking adequate water pressure, & the grounds here littered with cigarette butts. On a good note, my room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the room rate was fairly reasonable, and it’s close to I-5.

This property is a little older and not fully updated, it it is fine for the price I paid. My biggest complaints: 1. This is my second stay. I stayed at the same hotel one year prior and the pool and spa were out of order. The same was true on m most recent visit. I think they should remove pool and spa from the listing because they obviously don't have plans to reopen them. 2. I reserved a room with a kitchen because I was there for several days and I didn't want to eat out all the time. The kitchen was fine, but they did not stock the kitchen with any of the tings required to make it useful. No dishes, silverware, pots or pans. It was definitely not what I was expecting.

The family suite was certainly spacious but...the room came with a tiny bar of soap and little tiny shampoo/conditioner bottles enough for one person. You would think that they would stock enough soap etc. for a family. No Hot tub No Sauna No Pool Not worth the money I spent. If I would've know beforehand, I would've made reservations somewhere else. Staff were friendly.

The hallway wreaked of vomit and pee. It was advertised that they had a pool, the spa was closed but when we went to use the pool it was locked. They said the indoor pool was closed for the season which was not disclosed anywhere. The pillows were terrible and the mattress was a joke.

The manager was very accommodating he let me have the late check out and was able to use the pool due to the inconvenience. I checked in for the front desk for the clerk to tell me that the pool is closed due to the fact that a dog was let in the pool.I called the front desk in the evening asking to be compensated for the fact that pool is closed. The evening desk clerk informed me that it was not close that the incident with the dog was several days ago. a lot of miscommunication between employees. You have to have a reservation to use the pool because people vandalized and misuse the pool. When we were able to use Liverpool it was very cold and somebody had turned off the heater. I came to Vancouver to visit my sister that was in state from Texas I only stayed there because they had a pool available. Identify out there was so much miscommunication about the pool closure by the end of the night I was very frustrated. A little too expensive for the amenities that were available and not only was the pool closed but the hot tub was not available and covered with plywood. what's on it was not available due to some kind of a fire they didn't notify anybody that made reservations about these inconveniences.

The property staff are amazing. They got our room ready ahead of time even though they were super booked up the night before. The property was fairly clean. There was a big stain on the side of one of our mattresses but overall for the price it wasn’t bad. The hot tub wasn’t working but the pool was open but super cold so we couldn’t really swim in it. But overall for the price and the location, it was a decent hotel.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in, in years. The first room they gave me smelled like someone has been smoking in it for the last decade. So I asked to be switched, as I had my 2 young children with me, which that process took 40 minutes. Then the next room smelt terrible as well, but since it was already late, I cut my losses. My friend booked a room for the same weekend, his room was just as bad. The beds are rock hard, showers were filthy, and towels all had holes in them, as well as being child sized. If you’re thinking of staying here. DONT. The room we booked was described as handicapped, which it was not. Also there is no ramp to get into the office. So good luck with that. And to top it all off, they charged my card an extra 90$ after I left, (I paid in full when we arrived) I call to see why, and they told me they had no idea why. Still waiting for a return call. That I’ll probably never get.

Mattress was not very comfortable, felt like I was sleeping in a pup tent on the edge of a cliff. Room was clean though and quiet. Hallway smelled like a wet rag and needed a thorough vacuuming. Front desk service was excellent but breakfast was packaged processed nonsense.

Upon arrival we were informed that the spa didn't work. Then the door closest to our room was broken and unusable, so we had to walk and carry our things way out of the way. The hallway had an odor that urged us to hurry as quickly as possible to and from our room. The room itself wasn't terrible, the coffee pot didn't work and there was blood on a pillow. That wasn't noticed until our last day.

Everything was pretty poor and the mattresses were so hard, none of us got any sleep. Other than the rooms being a good size, everything needs to be cleaned and revamped. Seemed pretty ghetto all around and we tried three different places to eat around the hotel and all were nasty… we were warned about this during check in. It was incredibly noisy, and it should state that it’s literally right next to the freeway. We will not be staying here again.

Plastic mattress cover under bottom sheet was loud and uncomfortable. Bottom sheet kept popping off, which made you feet and legs stick to the plastic cover. Slept very poorly, and not good for being on a road trip. Bathroom door was too large for opening and it was really hard to close. Also, poor insultation. We heard the dog next door barking and kids above us ran around til late and then started again very early in the morning.

The mattress and pillows were a little lumpy (but not painfully so!), so be cautious if you have spinal problems. The "continental" breakfast includes hot options if you use hot water for oatmeal and microwave your own frozen burrito back in the room. Overall, the facilities aren't new and shiny, but they are clearly maintained. It was in reasonable condition for the price.

Not gonna lie, when driving up the outside was less than stellar. We happened to be staying one night for a concert and $250 for a room was exorbitant for a room. But to my surprise the room was spacious and clean. The pool, which we had to ourselves was pleasant and clean. And the staff was kind and engaging. Not sure what the front desk woman’s name was but she was great.

So the room was updated but the building it was in was not. Room and bathroom clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. The room had wooden floors and was huge. The Taco Bell drive thru was by building didn't hear any noise. Would stay again

Room climate was great. There was no kitchen, but the breakfast bar was clean and well stocked. We do prefer the way breakfast was handled a year ago better. I appreciated the increase in choices, but one of the reasons we always have stayed here is for the grab and go hot breakfast. The front desk staff is always top-notch, but this year, Maria made our stay even better than usual. She was sweet, accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun. We wish her a very happy birthday this upcoming week. She is a great asset to your company!

I had a National Lampoon experience checking in. I booked through Expedia, so everything was paid. They had me swipe my Visa, which I thought was for incidentals but ended up being a whole $68.90 charge, Im still waiting on the charge to reverse in my bank account. Then I was given keys to a room that was occupied and I walked in on them, They where cool about it and I went back and they switched me to another room, which was fine. The women who checked me in was nice and brand new, The manager she had there did not know how to reverse my payment back to me, so she had to call and wake up some other Managerial person. Room was fine, some lingering odor in the hallways. This place has potenial, It looks remodeled on the outside, Mid 1980's on the inside. I have never complained like this before but I love Red Lions and hope they can bring the place to resemble a typical Red Lion. I had a National Lampoon experience checking in. I booked through Expedia, so everything was paid. They had me swipe my Visa, which I thought was for incidentals but ended up being a whole $68.90 charge, Im still waiting on the charge to reverse in my bank account. Then I was given keys to a room that was occupied and I walked in on them, They where cool about it and I went back and they switched me to another room, which was fine. The women who checked me in was nice and brand new, The manager she had there did not know how to reverse my payment back to me, so she had to call and wake up some other Managerial person. Room was fine, some lingering odor in the hallways. This place has potenial, It looks remodeled on the outside, Mid 1980's on the inside. I have never complained like this before but I love Red Lions and hope they can bring the place to resemble a typical Red Lion. my stay at the red lion was great from the moment I walked in the door, the front desk clerk went above and beyond to make sure we received a good price for the room, she was great. I also meant the owner of the hotel and he also was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean they also have a great breakfast bag they offer as well as fresh coffee. They made sure to let us know if there was anything we needed to not hesitate to ask ... Everyone was very polite during our 2 night stay, I would recommend The Red Lion Inn to anyone it was a great stay. This will be the Hotel I stay at every time I come to vancouver to visit... big concert nearby same night as check in. we arrived at 330 pm to find a lobby full of people waiting to checkin. at 38C / 100 F outside the lobby AC couldnt keep up. we were all sweating and tired waiting. one lady doing checkins was amazingly fast and knowledgeable. however there was an older man also doing checkins that was extremely slow... she was processing 3 guests to each 1 of his. when it was our turn. we got him. he seemed frazzled and confused. stared at the screen without clicking his mouse. it was painfully slow. once that horrendous process was done we found a nice cool room. clean. good layout. didnt get to enjoy any hotel amenities as we left immediately for the concert and returned late. headed out next morning. i do recommend this hotel if youre in the area. its just a gamble as to how long your checkin experience will be.

The room was adequate but unremarkable. If I was a woman staying alone I wouldn’t feel very safe walking around the immediate area although the building seemed secure. The price was right and my bed was fairly comfortable. It was also quiet when we were there so I did sleep fairly well.

This property is seriously dated. The pool is not open, the shower was lacking adequate water pressure, & the grounds here littered with cigarette butts. On a good note, my room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the room rate was fairly reasonable, and it’s close to I-5.

The hotel is old. It looks a little sketchy. However, the room was clean and adequate. We arrived late at night to 5 police cars and and ambulance in the parking lot. The police officer said this hotel was not a safe place to stay. They are there often. Usually drug related. Apparently a lot of homeless people are given vouchers to stay here.

As Motel 6 goes it seemed upgraded/remodeled. The women at the front desk was friendly and helpful. No fault of the staff it was right next to I-205 so it wasn’t the quietest place but it was close to a lot of things.

Room climate was great. There was no kitchen, but the breakfast bar was clean and well stocked. We do prefer the way breakfast was handled a year ago better. I appreciated the increase in choices, but one of the reasons we always have stayed here is for the grab and go hot breakfast. The front desk staff is always top-notch, but this year, Maria made our stay even better than usual. She was sweet, accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun. We wish her a very happy birthday this upcoming week. She is a great asset to your company!

Very friendly staff, grab and go breakfast had lots of choices, including vegan, GF and keto. Good strong coffee in the lobby, small snacks yogurt and fruit. Check in was quick and again very friendly and helpful front staff!

Mattress was not very comfortable, felt like I was sleeping in a pup tent on the edge of a cliff. Room was clean though and quiet. Hallway smelled like a wet rag and needed a thorough vacuuming. Front desk service was excellent but breakfast was packaged processed nonsense.

The facility was very reasonably priced and not in terrible condition, but our room toilet seat was secured by one fastener (It spun like a top) and the TV didn\'t work. The night manager attempted to repair the TV at 11:00PM (Nice man) but was unable to get the thing working. The "breakfast" is a joke, don\'t bother getting up early to avail yourself of a muffin...

Was expecting a dump considering the price was way lower than others in the area, but it was exceptional. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of options for breakfast, and that breakfast had to be carried to the room since there is no seating available.

The staff were really nice and helpful! Hotel itself is older and outdated. It was clean but heater knobs were broken so a little tricky yo get heat going. Breakfast needs heated up in your own room and we ended up blowing the breaker and losing power heating up all our breakfast but again staff was fast to act and get it back on!
