This hotel was very adequate for a short stay. No major issues with the room. One downside, there was loud music by the pool/restaurant next door/parking lot, it usually stopped by 10 pm (but I mention it for people traveling with young children).

Overall the rooms and interior are updated and clean, with a cute outdoor pool and seating area. The only negatives were- the ice machine was missing on my floor and the workout machines were both very outdated- one was broken and the other was barely functional.

I had a surgical out patient procedure done and had to book a room in tax for the stays since I live out of town….This is the second time I have stayed there. With the restaurant which served very god .. Since the restaurant was open for breakfast , lunch , and supper, I did not have to go no where….The room as well as the cooling was exceptional. I will definitely book my next stay there.

Staff was very friendly! Hotel was definitely kept up with and not dirty in the sense that no one cleaned it well, but more that it was an old hotel. The elevator smelled awful. Would not stay more than 1-2 nights.

install it was a good stay. rooms and bathroom smaller then pictures make it look. Pool was dirty and not one single piece of cardio equipment worked. Equipment looked like it was from the 90s. Staff dims friendly and location is good just need to make sure their “amenities “ are upgraded and i’m working order since they don’t have others like free breakfast

Room was clean and fresh, furniture could use an update but it wasnt bad. I wish the restaurant and bar would stay open later, they close i think around 3 pm. But the food was good at the restaurant. I would stay here again no problem

This hotel is definitely old and gives a different feel than the photos indicate. The overall condition is pretty worn. The pool wasn't very clean and heavily over-chlorinated. The room was damp and hotel gave off a musty smell throughout it, including the room which was only exasperated with the air conditioner running. Definitely a lower end accommodation / budget hotel.

I recently moved to ATX for work and had to stay one night at the Ramada. The smell in the room was weird, the toilet clogged on the first use. None of the drawers or cabinets in the room closed properly. There was trash behind the bed. Service was okay, I was definitely nervous about parking my car overnight as someone was reporting a stolen vehicle while I was moving lol.

Never have I seen so many bugs in my hotel. I saw them in the bathroom, on the beds, I left food in the fridge and saw bugs crawling out of that. I am worried/ concerned I might be bringing critters back to my house. Have pictures to prove bugs as well as dirtiness. Would love to talk to someone who could put me in touch where I could file a claim for at least a temporary refund. Thank you

First room had vomit , they changed us to a second room which smelled like urine. Third room had a minifridge that didn't work. Terrible experience , not staying here again. It's an old hotel that was renovated but it isn't in good condition, it needs a new renovation.

Pictures from hotels.com are deceiving. I was expecting a very nice hotel and it was the opposite. It smelled weird. Shower pressure was low, water never got hot. Room was muggy. AC seemed just to be a fan and not air conditioning. Breakfast looked nice although didn’t get to enjoy it. Elevator smelled.front desk was nice and so was little store inside. Beds also were small. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The bed and room were comfortable. Ask for an accessible room so that we could have a walk-in shower. But it was not that you still have to step in over the tub. Overall it was just a little rundown they need to upgrade the furniture and do a carpet cleaning. Other hotels around it the area was safe enough it's about 10 minutes from 6th Street.

Room was ok. Twin bed rooms have full size beds, not queen. Bedding was clean, carpet looked recent although there was a lot of white hair on it. Bathroom was clean and towels were clean. We found some blood stains on the headboard and spme pf the bed switches.

Arrived after midnight after calling and letting them know what time I would be arriving and at first they couldn’t locate my reservation. Then they didn’t have a key ready. Night staff just doesn’t seem very efficient or well prepared for late arrival guests. The room was fine, clean, and the bed comfortable. If there’s a thunderstorm you will hear everything.

The room was nice, but upon arrival it was muggy and stuffy and humid. Being able to open the balcony sliding door was very nice and after cooling the room off, it was comfortable. The window curtain had one little crack where it did not cover the window completely, so the morning sun peeked in early, but all in all it was a nice room.

The person at the front desk was rude and dismissive. He didn’t even make eye contact when I was trying to communicate with him or ask a question. I asked him where I could find a luggage rack and he just pointed off into the distance and said “I don’t know, somewhere down there”. The line at the front desk was 4 deep and the manager saw this and just went to the back. This was my first time staying at a Ramada and it is my last as well.

Should have known better. 1 night in Austin so booked a cheaper Hotel stay was ok nothing terrible with that part. Went to get in the car next morning and it had been broken into. OK nothing they can do about a crimal just bad luck. What they could haver done is at least look up from the book she was reading when I told her my car had been broken into. NO can not do that all I got was we do not have camaras. I said ok and walked out wife went back inside to get info for Austin PD and minute she walked in she gets I told the other guy we do not have camaras. Just poor customer service here we need address and want the GM's info. The way they acted and treated us was just not how you should treat the customer. Poor management.

The check-in process was phenomenal quick and very informative about the amenities Ramada offers. I really appreciated the associate at the front desk he was knowledgeable and made me feel acknowledged. & well The area didn’t feel very safe at first, but during my stay, nothing concerning actually happened. The elevator was outdated and could really use a refresh that’s just my opinion. As for cleanliness, a few items in the room, like the remote and TV, had some residue on them, possibly from a previous guest. It looked like an oily substance, though I’m not sure what it was. Aside from that, everything else was okay. Will be Returning

Austin has a bit of a homeless problem. And that can mushroom into some of the areas around where the hotel is located, it’s not the properties fault, but it’s something that the whole city has to deal with. So you do need to be aware that that can be surrounding the area that you might be staying. Overall, once you get inside, the property is great. We’ve stayed there a number of times and would do so in the future. Good value for price. Excellent location.

It was a convenient location, close to I-35 and easy access to the highway, and I also had a very clean room, recently remodeled, comfy bed, and overall friendly staff (the overnight guy wasn't the most friendly, just played on his phone in the back office every time I saw him). The area outside left a little to be desired, but that's most of Austin these days unless you're willing to pay $200-$300 in addition to a ridiculous parking fee to be closer to downtown. No thanks!

The restaurant wasn’t open and there was nowhere to get coffee at 8:30 am unless you like powdered creamer. I went to use the shower and the handle to turn on the water was sitting on the side of the tub. If the staff had cleaned the tub recently they probably would have noticed that and reported it. The tub may have been dirty or just stained yellow. We didn’t stick around to find out. Front desk was nice enough, but it took longer than it should have to check me in with him asking for, and returning my ID and credit card 3 different times.
