Good location to go to NEC, about 10min drive. Nice pool but not big, asked to book slot to avoid being too busy. Large car park. Good size room, ok shower, large comfy bed. Room quite warm, no a/c but fan in room, windows only open small amount for safety. Good breakfast. Had set menu buffet meal in restaurant which was ok but not fancy.

Not really a true spa experience. You have to pay £25 for a robe, unless you have a premium room (although we were told they would be in the room by spa, £25 for 2 at reception, £25 esch and the monitor said £15). There are also kids swimming lessons in the morning until noon and were lots of kids in the pool at 4 - 6. This is all information that should have been shared as we probably would have looked elsewhere for our group spa weekend. This was a birthday weekend with a group of 10 whoall had treatments and spent quite alot on food and drinks. Bit of a let down. Staff were friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Food was great!

Hotel was ok. Very bad experience as on check in I was informed that due to staff shortages the swimming pool is closed and I was shocked as 1 days went to waste. Also pool staff did not provide towels for each day I went for swimming

The property itself is well kept, clean and welcoming. Rooms were lovely and comfortable, bathrooms were clean and towels nice. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. The only down fall is that the spa and pool really need an upgrade. There were towels left in the changing rooms, hair on the walls and floors and it just felt grimey.

My family stayed for 1 night while visiting Drayton Manor Theme Park. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a good outside area by the bar with lots of tables. The staff at breakfast were amazing, really accomodating and brought me gluten free cornflakes and toast specially made. We visited on a particularly hot day and I was a bit worried about the lack of air conditioning. Our room had a fan in the cupboard and this worked really well even thought there were 4 of us in the same room. The pool nice and clean and there was a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for the adults to use. All in all, really pleased!

Fantastic hotel great service lovely bars and restaurants great car park and secure with fantastic security systems to keep your vehicle safe. Hotel rooms were fantastic very clean tidy extremely big bathrooms massive big beds lovely and hot rooms are very comfy. Would stay here any time again and great prices. Three course meal I would highly recommend fantastic swimming pool and Jacuzzi And sauna and steam room with spa treatment rooms and additional changing rooms if needed and hotel was beautifully decorated for the Christmas period with multiple Christmas trees and Christmas decorations throughout the entire hotel making it feel very festive must be seen and try it for yourself. He is the best cannot recommend it anymore. I would give it 10 out of 10 any day of the week.

Nice hotel, arrived and electrics had gone and also went the next day. Wi-fi was mediocre. Breakfast was lovely except on Saturday when it was very busy. Room cleanliness was good to look at and then the finer detail needed refining. Webs and spiders at higher level. You are in the middle of nowhere so be prepared to travel if not eating in. Also had spa treatments which were excellent. Pool was nice along with the gym facilities. Carpets just need updating in the rooms and corridors. Shower was rubbish and def in need of update, slow flow and fixed to the wall.

The hotel is tired in areas but it is spotless, the bed and pillows are just the best and the food was beautiful. Pool area was a warm and relaxing. Half board option was definitely value for money. Would recommend and would stay again.

Room was extremely clean, plenty of towels, products, drinks (still and sparkling water) and biscuits provided for our stay. You can request more at the reception if needed. The room smelt beautiful - like lemons. Bed and pillows were so comfortable, feather pillows, white linen. Food in the evening was phenomenal, we ordered 3 meals and all were of a very high quality. Breakfast was amazing, a fantastic selection on the buffet and we also ordered a cooked breakfast - food on the cooked breakfast was of a high standard, very good quality. All staff we encountered on our visit were friendly and willing to chat. The pool was a little cool but the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were great. The hotel is of a high standard, communal areas are clean and up to date. Communal areas were quiet in the evening and morning. Will be visiting again and would highly recommend to anybody else.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times and really enjoy the location and the service from the staff. Only let down on this stay we felt was that the rooms seemed a bit dusty. Surfaces could have been willed down with more care

I booked a deluxe room and upon check in they gave a standard family room which was old, dusty no walk in shower. Just a poor condition over head tap. Mouldy bath and things flaking off. Reception said over booked and cpuldnt do anything. Spoke to the reception next day and had to keep explaining myself that its wrong they overbooked and didnt provide me the room and experience paid for. The steam room was also filthy and sauna broken planks inside.

A wonderful venue with excellent staff, who go out of their way to accommodate you. Gave 4 stars as the rooms furniture could do with some updating and/or deep cleaning. eg.the chair in my room had a number of stains on it, as did the carpet. It had been hoovered but stains are a put off.

The welcome at reception excellent as always. Very friendly. Rooms are nice. The only was 4 of the pillows smelt mouldy and the bathroom had an unfeiendly smell ( maybe mop smell of urine) house keeping came straight away and changed the pillows and sorted the bathroom so very happy.

I chose this hotel for the facilities and the quiet location. On the whole it was a good choice, however, due to our room having a 'connecting door' with the room next to us we did not get the sleep we'd hoped. It literally sounded like the people in the next room were in our room. The rest of the stay was good. It would be nice if people didn't crowd the bar staff on busy nights though, and kept their manners towards them. They worked hard!

We enjoyed our stay. However, areas for improvement are no air conditioning in bedrooms or bar / dining areas making it quite uncomfortable. There was also black mould around the bath / shower and the fan / vent in the bathroom did not work. The toilet flush was also very poor. We also received a hostile welcome by one member of staff on the reception desk upon check in, which was disappointing. However, the staff in general were very polite and hard working.

It's a great place to stay, and nice and affordable. The pool area is a little tired and could do with a renovation to match some of the other areas of the hotel. The room was fine for us, if a little tired. The shower in the bathroom isn't great, but serviceable. Hopefully the can fit A/C at some point as I wouldn't want to stay in the room during the summer, although having a plug-in fan was appreciated, as well as having an iron and ironing board in the room.

On arrival, we were told, despite advertising a large board for the full menu in reception, that only a buffet was available at £35 per head. This was NOT the case as we then found out other guests were dining off the full menu in the bar. We even questioned the buffet when being seated and then got charge 12.5% service charge!

I would like to thank Yvonne and Oben who looked after my GF and I during our stay. We arrived on Saturday and had a work Dinner to get ready for. They did everything in their power to enable us to check in early. They are both an asset to your team

Woken up by rude noisy cleaners and when I questioned them about why they were making so much noise the guy asked what my problem was and what did I want him to do about it! When I came out of the room to check out the lady cleaner who was working with the guy did apologize. I informed the receptionist who was really shocked and said she would get someone to ring me today but I've had no one call. Absolutely awful behavior and terrible customer service as no follow up call. Extremely disappointed as I would never expect to hear that level of noise before ,9am doors slamming, crashing and bashing with equipment and talking so loudly and then to be spoken to in that manner when they were questioned. The welcome staff were great but that was where it ended. The waiter could not understand English and we are still waiting for our bottle of water. Restaurant was too over priced for what it was and most staff could not understand or speak English. On check out day we opened our door to go to breakfast and the cleaning trolly was directly in front of our door and we had to squeeze out as it blocked the door. Made you feel unwelcome and was difficult to get out with our luggage when we did check out as we had to squeeze past not very helpful for someone who suffers with sore joints

Fantastic hotel great service lovely bars and restaurants great car park and secure with fantastic security systems to keep your vehicle safe. Hotel rooms were fantastic very clean tidy extremely big bathrooms massive big beds lovely and hot rooms are very comfy. Would stay here any time again and great prices. Three course meal I would highly recommend fantastic swimming pool and Jacuzzi And sauna and steam room with spa treatment rooms and additional changing rooms if needed and hotel was beautifully decorated for the Christmas period with multiple Christmas trees and Christmas decorations throughout the entire hotel making it feel very festive must be seen and try it for yourself. He is the best cannot recommend it anymore. I would give it 10 out of 10 any day of the week.

We visited about 25 years ago when it was shiny and new and amazing. 25 years later it's tired and some areas need a refurb. Our room was clean enough. Very comfortable bed and quiet with decent internet. Breakfast was positively excellent. Service at dinner was so poor that they took the meals off the bill and we only paid for our drinks.... But we felt that was fair (we were in the restaurant nearly 2.5 hours and only managed 1 course.... Due to their lack of staff.) We used this as a base for visiting the NEC. The minor issues we had were resolved to our satisfaction. I would book to stay here again. With more staff and a refurbishment this place could be significantly better.

Lovely location, ideally placed for visiting NEC. Our Saturday evening was quite busy in bars, restaurant and pool area. However it didn’t spoil our enjoyment and we will definitely be back.

It is a nice location away from town. Dining the first night was very noisy - a group of golfers and it took management over an hour to ask them to quieten down after complaints from other patrons. Noisy in the corridors at night - revellers coming back from partying - awaken three different times with conversations and laughing. Bedroom was cold. Drainage in the bath tub slow so stagnating water. Overall, an unpleasant experience. I shan't be returning to this location.

The hotel is in a lovely setting and our room was clean and very spacious. Reception staff could have been more friendly and helpful, information wasn't volunteered and they tried to avoid eye contact when anyone approached the desk to ask something. Spa treatments were good with a nice relaxation space but the pool had children's swimming lessons both days we were there so not a place to relax. Restaurant was very disappointing so we avoided after the first evening meal and breakfast. We were told that there was only a buffet available for £35 when we arrived at the restaurant, an expensive fish and chips, we certainly didn't want 3 courses but we're not given a choice. It is a captive market and after a long drive we did not want to venture out again so had little choice. Staff were scarce and slow in taking our drinks order and to clear plates between courses but many members of waiting staff appeared out of nowhere to sing Happy Birthday to someone at another table. We also soon discovered that others in the restaurant were able to order a la carte which we would have much preferred. The jerk chicken was nice but not served with rice and peas. Rest of the food was average. We walked to the Bull pub in Meriden the next day and the food and staff there were excellent.

Room service was over-priced (a burger was the price of a fantastic 3-course curry in nearby Vivaa restaurant) and breakfast was efficient but disgusting. Low-quality sausages and repulsive coffee. Lovely hotel, virtually faultless except for the food cost and then the sneaky 12.5% service charge, for someone to bring the food to the table was a bit steep. Cheese and bacon burger £19… ‘peri peri spatchcock baby chicken £30 and it wasn’t very peri at all, a hill of £55 after tax and service charge for the two meals mentioned, let down an otherwise lovely hotel stay. Golf course looked fairly good too.

This was an on route stop over. Reviews were average, and that kind of sums it up really. Some photos make it look a lot better than it is. We booked DBB, to keep it simple for 1 night. DInner on Friday night was a buffet- not ideal, Luke warm food, choice very limited, so not ideal. I did see later other tables ordering from a menu, so it might have been the DBB option, but I’d have liked a better choice. Fantastic trip recently with a catchup with a groups of friends and family. We found the staff to be highly accommodating of such a large group and were child friendly. The waitress we had a tye time was also fantastic at our evening meal. We will definitely be returning for our annual catchups here!!!!
