This is the 3rd time we stay at this property and it quickly has become our go to. The hotel is clean, offers a nice breakfast, swimming area of the kids including a 1.5ft for babies. I dont have a baby or toddler but when i saw this, i thought what a great idea for those families that do.

Very spacious suite and clean rooms. Bed and bedding was comfortable. I love the cantina restaurant and the courtyard. Fair warning, the rooms aren’t superbly sound-proof but I really loved the atmosphere and vibes. Everyone seemed to be out and about mingling and enjoying the pool/hot tub and courtyard. And dog friendly?! Say less! They have lots of grassy areas and a specific dedicated fenced area to allow your dog to roam free. Close proximity to the beach (about 5 min drive to Grover parking area).

1 year old with us all was well. Really kind of them to give free bar drinks and snacks in the evening to socialize. Also, free breakfast buffet. A cute, clean place to pass through pismo and enjoy the beach. They have a small enclosed dog park in the middle too sodogs dont use the bathroom all over the complex. Keeps it clean

The hotel was in a great spot with lots of parking. Uber cost was about 10 dollars to the Pismo pier, way worth the price over the headache of traffic and finding parking. Complimentary drink vouchers and breakfast was good. Definitely would consider staying again.

The room was really big which was great. The bed was nice and the sheets were clean. The room was in need of some refurbishing though . The carpet had holes and seemed dirty. The furniture was dusty,the shower was hard to get the water adjusted, and there is no where to put your toiletries. It’s a shame because they are always cleaning the lobby, the pool area, touching up paint,and cleaning the windows. It would be great if they spent more time on the rooms. Also, there was no ice which was a bummer. The staff was super nice and very helpful. The grounds are lovely and there are a lot of places to sit.

My toilet was dirty upon arrival and after further inspection, realized our sheets had not been changed. I alerted the front desk and told them I’d be out so they could send housekeeping. When I returned, the bathroom was clean and new bedding was left folded on a chair. I still had to remake the bed.

Found why they charge $10 to guarantee a top floor room. We got a bottom floor and heard the people upstairs walking and moving ALL night, it was a horrible sleep. Time to fix the flooring, you’ve got enough money based on the $400+ we spent for one night!! Not worth staying.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. This most recent time, I reserved an upper floor room on Expedia. Upon arrival, I was given a room on the first floor. I asked the receptionist why I hadn't been given an upper floor room, as I'd reserved. She said that there were none available because the hotel was full. When I went to the assigned room, I discovered that it was right across from the pool, and it was very loud due to all the kids playing in the pool. I called the front desk, and a different receptionist answered. I requested a room change due to the pool noise, and also stated that I'd requested a 2nd floor room. She was able to change me to a 2nd floor room on the opposite side of the complex from the pool. Aside from this initial snafu, everything else was fine. I especially like the spacious rooms which all have microwave ovens and refrigerators. The included hot breakfast is wonderful.

The AC didn’t work and there was no air flow. They gave us a loud portable fan instead of changing the room. We tried opening the door, but freeway noise made it worse. None of us, including my little daughter, could sleep. Very bad experience.

The room was very nice the living room and bedroom was divided by a pocket door which allowed someone to stay in the living room while another started to sleep. Breakfast meal was great always having several protein options beside nice comfort food choices as well.

Breakfast menu was good with exception to high calorie foods like biscuits and gravy and sausage. Room is outdated and dark. Bed was comfortable and having only a shower with no tub was great!! Wish there were more options like this. Balcony was bad! You could see right into the neighbors room!! Horribly awkward. No view ( parking lot). The complex is very large and buildings are all the same, not marked well. We were told we were in C but actually D. We had to find the room with help from staff who was wandering around. Never found the elevator.. and think there was only one. Carrying luggage and stuff up stairs was difficult. Liked the evening social, however the soft drinks tasted weird thinking it was unfiltered water?? Would be better with other choices as the chips and salsa was blah. Something like popcorn would have been better. Maybe cookies?? Never used AC but opened windows. We didn’t notice the AC right away.

Right off the freeway, clean and came with breakfast that was very good. Room was roomy that accommodates 3-4 people. Heater and ventilation were very noisy, room decor was outdated but the price makes it acceptable.

Pros: the breakfast was amazing!, nice heated and clean pool and hot tub with towels available around pool area (but it doesn't open until 10:00AM), close proximity to the beach, allowed me to check in early and check out late (with a fee), quiet and felt safe, there were grills available to bbq food, comfortable beds (but very thin covers). Cons: it was a $29 a night pet fee, we had hard wood (not carpet as pictured) and it felt disgusting on our feet, there was no tub (a shower only) and I have a special needs child who needed a tub, the AC only blew into the bedroom area and it was so loud it sounded like coins dropping on the roof so we barely used it, the smoke alarm malfunctioned in our room on Day 4 at 7:30 AM and woke us up (the maintenance worker who arrived was very unprofessional and made comments toward me that made me feel uncomfortable), we had to ask every time we needed new bath towels and sometimes it took awhile for them to be delivered, the staff was nice but they had different answes to the same questions.

The fwy noise was ear bending awful! I received perhaps 1 hr or less of sleep due to this fact. When I turned on the heater, it sounded like a horn. I was given a room in the “F” bldg, however I can’t imagine that any other room would have been better, as the entire bldg is parallel to the busy freeway, which does not quiet down all night. Worse, I was in a rush when I booked this motel through Expedia, and neglected to note that I required a ground floor room due to my disability. I did however request this upon check in, and I was flat out refused this, even though they had several ground floor rooms. Even if the cost would have been higher, I would have accepted, however I was not offered this. It gets worse…When I texted the motel, I informed them that the fwy noise was unbearable, and that I received very little sleep. I also asked why I was not offered a ground floor room when I informed the front desk employee of my situation/disability upon check in. The text replies that I received were full of blame shifting excuses, and how it was my fault that I didn’t request a ground floor room in advance, which is a violation of law. I requested this upon check in, and there were ground floor rooms avail. The fwy noise was also my doing, bec I booked a room closest to the fwy which I was completely unaware of. A call from the Mgr was filled with constant interruptions, more blame shifting, and ?’s re: details of my disability. Rude, dismissive, & condescending. Never again.

I did however request this upon check in, and I was flat out refused this, even though they had several ground floor rooms. Even if the cost would have been higher, I would have accepted, however I was not offered this. It gets worse…When I texted the motel, I informed them that the fwy noise was unbearable, and that I received very little sleep. I also asked why I was not offered a ground floor room when I informed the front desk employee of my situation/disability upon check in. The text replies that I received were full of blame shifting excuses, and how it was my fault that I didn’t request a ground floor room in advance, which is a violation of law. I requested this upon check in, and there were ground floor rooms avail. The fwy noise was also my doing, bec I booked a room closest to the fwy which I was completely unaware of. A call from the Mgr was filled with constant interruptions, more blame shifting, and ?’s re: details of my disability. Rude, dismissive, & condescending. Never again.

We had a great stay at the Oxford Suites Pismo Beach! The place is beautiful, has a really nice lobby, a bar and a relaxing pool! The room was clean, good size, separate living, bedroom area. It had a microwave and fridge in the room which came in handy. The king size bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had delicious food like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, country fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy etc. The pool area is beautiful.

They work hard to make this place an excellent choice. If you are sensitive to sound though the rooms tend to have highway noise. The welcome drink and breakfast help you feel at home and this time we found a little grassy dog potty fenced area.

The hotel was in a great spot with lots of parking. Uber cost was about 10 dollars to the Pismo pier, way worth the price over the headache of traffic and finding parking. Complimentary drink vouchers and breakfast was good. Definitely would consider staying again.

We just stayed overnight. Checking in and out is easy. The room that we have has ample space and the location of this hotel is just next to freeway. 7-10 mins drive away to Pismo Beach Boardwalk and Pier. Overall, good place to stay.

This hotel is super conveniently located right off Hwy 101. It’s walking distance to a nice grocery store, Denny’s, McDonalds, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, and a shopping mall. The rooms are spacious, and have a small frig and microwave. The bathrooms have been recently remodeled and now have walk-in shower stalls instead of a tub/shower situation. The included breakfast is excellent, and includes hot, freshly prepared scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage links or patties, pancakes, oatmeal, and fresh fruit salad. The hotel welcomes dogs (for an extra $29/night), and even has a fenced in dog run. Unfortunately, the TV in my bedroom had terrible reception and the coffee maker in the room was disgustingly dirty and both were unusable. Luckily, there’s another TV in the sitting room, and the breakfast includes freshly brewed coffee, so it all worked out OK.

Every staff seemed to be really hardworking, especially the breakfast crew. Very often hotels have just one person handling everything but not this one. They kept keen eyes on what needed refills and were really quick about it. This place also had real plates, utensils, mugs and cups-not the usual flimsy paper plates and plastic forks. That means a lot more cleaning for staff, but much better feeling for guests (at least, me and my family). Well exceeded my expectations!

It lacked taste, quality, and honestly, it seemed as if the hotel was trying to cut costs as much as possible and just throw out there whatever you could get away with. Same with the evening happy hour. It lacks appeal and taste. But the bar tender was great! Very friendly!👍

It was nice I just wished the pool and jacuzzi stayed open until at least 11 and they had more vegetarian offerings for breakfast like pancakes or waffles. I heard the breakfast was amazing and it was not.
