This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Really nice house. Chocked full of entertaining things to do. And so many little touches that you usually don't see, from kitchen cooking extras to little household items most places don't provide. Instructions for everything plainly written out. Highly recommend.

This home provided a very nice and relaxing family stay over the 3-day weekend (President's Day). This house is very clean and has everything you would need including beach items, BBQ tools, tons of games for the family, and yes, it truly is a very short walk to the beach. Our winter stay was very cozy as the gas fireplace heated the place up quickly, and baseboard and portable heaters were also available if needed. The host responded within seconds with questions or when we needed help with the lock (wrong phone number was in my profile). Every household item you have at home is probably available to you here, and I was able to find oyster tools, wine openers, coffee maker and hot water pot for quick hot chocolate making. We'll be back in the summer to make use of the very nice patio (you can hear the ocean) and yard with a horseshoe pit! This is a great place to stay just a few minutes north of downtown Long Beach (ps. travel north for a great breakfast to avoid the tourist crowds Long Beach has). If we had the time, we would have stayed longer.

Totally enjoyed our stay at Beach Melody. The house is in a quiet area/neighborhood north of the main downtown Long Beach. It has everything and more to enjoy your stay. The owners have thought of everything in this comfortable space. I kept finding fun surprises, like the waffle iron, fondue pot, workout accessories and the kids found a fully stocked S'mores roasting kit. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach and it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. Our time slipped away as we enjoyed relaxing, recharging and even got to see the Sandsations sand scuptures in Long Beach which were impressive. The property backs up to a forest which is a cool variation to the beach feel. We even saw a deer as we were heading out. Would love to come back!

While VRBO has made the rental process clunky the owners of this property are really nice and responsive. The house is probably the cleanest and most well equipped we've stayed in. The yard is really nice with an awesome backyard. The only small issue I saw was the exterior security camera lights kept triggering after sunset. Sorta disturbing the night ambiance. Overall a really nice property.

We came to Long Beach to go razor clamming with friends, and the house was perfect. It is an older home, but with total new look inside. Lots of space and great for cooking, playing inside and outside games, and a 5-10 minute walk to a less used part of the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped for foodies and even had sharp knives (something we don't find very often)! The beds were super comfortable, and once we figured out the heating it was nice and cozy. We will definitely be back!!!

Recently updated property with a tastefully decorated coastal theme that is invitingly warm and homey! Every nook and cranny held an abundance of household items. The hosts provided a relaxing and carefree getaway, not far from the ocean and a short drive to attractions.

Holy Moly! This home has it all. First of all, Karyn and Evan were very gracious hosts. Easy to find, quiet and literally a couple minute easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is great! I've stayed at quite a few VRBO's and they've all been good but Karyn and Evan's had everything. It's all labeled and easy to get to. While we were there we had all but one meal 'at home'. They have stocked the home with plenty of games for a rainy day or a quiet evening. (even horse shoes!) This home is pet friendly, which we do not have a dog. Husband is allergic. The home was spotlessly clean with no allergic reaction at all! Kudo's to the cleaning team! Had several great walks on the beach, and a few strolls in the downtown. Close to Astoria for a quick getaway. This was close to a perfect week away. Had friends meet us there and there was more than ample room for four adults. You won't go wrong with Beach Melody. To Karyn and Evan I say thank you for a lovely week. We will be back!

Stayed in this wonderful home over the long New Years weekend. My husband, our schnauzer Ripley and myself. We chose this home for it's accommodations and location. It is a little over halfway between Long Beach and Ocean Park. Perfect. Access to the beach is a quick and fun walk. The home is cozy and comfortable. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. It's warm and welcoming . Even our pup who is normally a nervous wreck, settled right down. It took very little time for us to settle in and start enjoying ourselves. The owners respond very quickly to communication. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to go. Two full bathrooms were a huge plus. A wonderful game room. We did not use the outside patio and grill/firepit. Big storm in the area at the time. Full size laundry with supplies. We are lifetime visitors to the pennisula, rented alot of places in our time. This one is the best. It's our new place at the beach.

Karyn has thought of everything, even hot and cold hose on the back patio for our dog. Very close walk to the beach that was so crowded, just birds!! Quality linens and mattress, excellent pots and pans, great decor and really comfy furniture wrap it all up. very clean and well cared for property.

We loved our stay at Beach Melody. This is probably the most organized and well equipped home we have ever rented for our vacation. And it's also beautifully decorated. The location is perfect as well: in a very quiet area, a short walk to the beach, and a few minutes drive to many different hikes. We highly recommend staying at Beach Melody!

House was so clean. The walk to the beach was easy. We brought our wagon with us to haul sand toys and lunch out to the beach, but we could have just as easily eaten lunch back at the house. No view of the ocean, but just a short walk to the beach. We'd love to come back again! The house was so clean and really well stocked. Our kids loved sharing the bedroom with the twin beds in it even though it was pretty small. We had a great time! Thank you for providing such a wonderful getaway home.

This was the perfect home for us to stay! The home was very roomy, clean, comfortable, and the perfect location. The neighborhood was quiet, plus close to the beach!! This house was the cleanest and most well-stocked rental we have stayed at. The owners have thought of everything and everything was in its place. Any time I had a question, the answer was in the welcome binder. We had deer and bunnies in the back yard and walked to the beach for sunsets. Would recommend!

Karyn has thought of everything, even hot and cold hose on the back patio for our dog. Very close walk to the beach that was so crowded, just birds!! Quality linens and mattress, excellent pots and pans, great decor and really comfy furniture wrap it all up. very clean and well cared for property.

Our second stay at this property was as lovely as the first. Clean and comfortable accommodations with that touch of home that is very appreciated. Like the last time it was well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing visit. It's location is perfect for us as we have our family we visit . It lies between Long Beach and Ocean Park. I like that it is out of the busy tourist areas but not so far that you can't go grab a quick burger or a gallon of milk if needed. The walk to the beach is short and fun.

Beach Melody house is perfect in every way! We spent a week there and enjoyed every moment. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. We felt right at home and very comfortable. The location is great and the neighborhood is very quiet. The beach is so close and just a short jaunt from the house. We will definitely be back. The hosts were amazing and we're thankful to them for sharing their lovely home.

Cannot say enough about this perfect beach house. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and you can hear the Pacific Ocean from the front door. It is beautifully decorated, fully stocked with anything that you could possibly desire, even to having a hot/cold spigot at the back door to rinse off after spending some time at the beach. Karyn has thought of everything, even hot and cold hose on the back patio for our dog. Very close walk to the beach that was so crowded, just birds!! Quality linens and mattress, excellent pots and pans, great decor and really comfy furniture wrap it all up. very clean and well cared for property.

We loved our stay at Beach Melody. This is probably the most organized and well equipped home we have ever rented for our vacation. And it's also beautifully decorated. The location is perfect as well: in a very quiet area, a short walk to the beach, and a few minutes drive to many different hikes. We highly recommend staying at Beach Melody!

We have stayed at Beach Melody many times and we love the location & house very much. Yet this last time we encountered temperatures in the 90s for a whole weekend & we missed our AC from back home. The peninsula is usually a temperant climate so this was unusual. And the high temps brought on a glorious display of the area's flowers but also a lot of pollen. My allergies usually disappear while I'm here but this time I was taking my decongestants. Beach Melody continues to be a wonderful escape for relaxing and enjoying the beach. We will be coming back for more vacations here.

This was the perfect home for us to stay! The home was very roomy, clean, comfortable, and the perfect location. The neighborhood was quiet, plus close to the beach!! This home provided a very nice and relaxing family stay over the 3-day weekend (President's Day). This house is very clean and has everything you would need including beach items, BBQ tools, tons of games for the family, and yes, it truly is a very short walk to the beach. Our winter stay was very cozy as the gas fireplace heated the place up quickly, and baseboard and portable heaters were also available if needed. The host responded within seconds with questions or when we needed help with the lock (wrong phone number was in my profile). Every household item you have at home is probably available to you here, and I was able to find oyster tools, wine openers, coffee maker and hot water pot for quick hot chocolate making. We'll be back in the summer to make use of the very nice patio (you can hear the ocean) and yard with a horseshoe pit! This is a great place to stay just a few minutes north of downtown Long Beach (ps. travel north for a great breakfast to avoid the tourist crowds Long Beach has). If we had the time, we would have stayed longer.

Cannot say enough about this perfect beach house. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and you can hear the Pacific Ocean from the front door. It is beautifully decorated, fully stocked with anything that you could possibly desire, even to having a hot/cold spigot at the back door to rinse off after spending some time at the beach. But most noteworthy are the kind and gracious hosts. Again, we cannot say enough about how we enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to our next visit.

While VRBO has made the rental process clunky the owners of this property are really nice and responsive. The house is probably the cleanest and most well equipped we've stayed in. The yard is really nice with an awesome backyard. The only small issue I saw was the exterior security camera lights kept triggering after sunset. Sorta disturbing the night ambiance. Overall a really nice property.

Our stay at this property was amazing. The home is stocked with everything you need to arrive and start your vacation. We have stayed on the coast for years, and have not had a home more organized and cozy. Also, Karyn went above and beyond to check in, and ensure our trip was going great. 😊 Definitely recommend a stay in this cozy home.

Holy Moly! This home has it all. First of all, Karyn and Evan were very gracious hosts. Easy to find, quiet and literally a couple minute easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is great! I've stayed at quite a few VRBO's and they've all been good but Karyn and Evan's had everything. It's all labeled and easy to get to. While we were there we had all but one meal 'at home'. They have stocked the home with plenty of games for a rainy day or a quiet evening. (even horse shoes!) This home is pet friendly, which we do not have a dog. Husband is allergic. The home was spotlessly clean with no allergic reaction at all! Kudo's to the cleaning team! Had several great walks on the beach, and a few strolls in the downtown. Close to Astoria for a quick getaway. This was close to a perfect week away. Had friends meet us there and there was more than ample room for four adults. You won't go wrong with Beach Melody. To Karyn and Evan I say thank you for a lovely week. We will be back!

Stayed in this wonderful home over the long New Years weekend. My husband, our schnauzer Ripley and myself. We chose this home for it's accommodations and location. It is a little over halfway between Long Beach and Ocean Park. Perfect. Access to the beach is a quick and fun walk. The home is cozy and comfortable. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. It's warm and welcoming . Even our pup who is normally a nervous wreck, settled right down. It took very little time for us to settle in and start enjoying ourselves. The owners respond very quickly to communication. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to go. Two full bathrooms were a huge plus. A wonderful game room. We did not use the outside patio and grill/firepit. Big storm in the area at the time. Full size laundry with supplies. We are lifetime visitors to the pennisula, rented alot of places in our time. This one is the best. It's our new place at the beach.

Spent a week at our favorite beach house. The owners were helpful and always reachable. Usually we stay during winter but this time we stayed in the summer. The house was perfect and did not disappoint. We love wildlife. Visits from deer, bunnies, birds and bears. Be sure to keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks. We hosted a few dinners for our family that lives in the area

House was so clean. The walk to the beach was easy. We brought our wagon with us to haul sand toys and lunch out to the beach, but we could have just as easily eaten lunch back at the house. No view of the ocean, but just a short walk to the beach. We'd love to come back again! The house was so clean and really well stocked. Our kids loved sharing the bedroom with the twin beds in it even though it was pretty small. We had a great time! Thank you for providing such a wonderful getaway home.

Totally enjoyed our stay at Beach Melody. The house is in a quiet area/neighborhood north of the main downtown Long Beach. It has everything and more to enjoy your stay. The owners have thought of everything in this comfortable space. I kept finding fun surprises, like the waffle iron, fondue pot, workout accessories and the kids found a fully stocked S'mores roasting kit. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach and it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. Our time slipped away as we enjoyed relaxing, recharging and even got to see the Sandsations sand scuptures in Long Beach which were impressive. The property backs up to a forest which is a cool variation to the beach feel. We even saw a deer as we were heading out. Would love to come back!

Our second stay at this property was as lovely as the first. Clean and comfortable accommodations with that touch of home that is very appreciated. Like the last time it was well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing visit. It's location is perfect for us as we have our family we visit . It lies between Long Beach and Ocean Park. I like that it is out of the busy tourist areas but not so far that you can't go grab a quick burger or a gallon of milk if needed. The walk to the beach is short and fun.

And so many little touches that you usually don't see, from kitchen cooking extras to little household items most places don't provide. Instructions for everything plainly written out. We came to Long Beach to go razor clamming with friends, and the house was perfect. It is an older home, but with total new look inside. Lots of space and great for cooking, playing inside and outside games, and a 5-10 minute walk to a less used part of the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped for foodies and even had sharp knives (something we don't find very often)! The beds were super comfortable, and once we figured out the heating it was nice and cozy. We will definitely be back!!!

The home was spotlessly clean with no allergic reaction at all! Kudo's to the cleaning team! Had several great walks on the beach, and a few strolls in the downtown. Close to Astoria for a quick getaway. This was close to a perfect week away. Had friends meet us there and there was more than ample room for four adults. You won't go wrong with Beach Melody. To Karyn and Evan I say thank you for a lovely week. We will be back!
Holy Moly! This home has it all. First of all, Karyn and Evan were very gracious hosts. Easy to find, quiet and literally a couple minute easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is great! I've stayed at quite a few VRBO's and they've all been good but Karyn and Evan's had everything. It's all labeled and easy to get to. While we were there we had all but one meal 'at home'. Stayed in this wonderful home over the long New Years weekend. My husband, our schnauzer Ripley and myself. We chose this home for it's accommodations and location. It is a little over halfway between Long Beach and Ocean Park. Perfect. Access to the beach is a quick and fun walk. The home is cozy and comfortable. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. It's warm and welcoming . Even our pup who is normally a nervous wreck, settled right down. It took very little time for us to settle in and start enjoying ourselves. The owners respond very quickly to communication. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to go. Two full bathrooms were a huge plus. A wonderful game room. We did not use the outside patio and grill/firepit. Big storm in the area at the time. Full size laundry with supplies. We are lifetime visitors to the pennisula, rented alot of places in our time. This one is the best. It's our new place at the beach.

This house was the cleanest and most well-stocked rental we have stayed at. The owners have thought of everything and everything was in its place. Any time I had a question, the answer was in the welcome binder. We had deer and bunnies in the back yard and walked to the beach for sunsets. Would recommend!

Karyn has thought of everything, even hot and cold hose on the back patio for our dog. Very close walk to the beach that was so crowded, just birds!! Quality linens and mattress, excellent pots and pans, great decor and really comfy furniture wrap it all up. very clean and well cared for property.

We loved our stay at Beach Melody. This is probably the most organized and well equipped home we have ever rented for our vacation. And it's also beautifully decorated. The location is perfect as well: in a very quiet area, a short walk to the beach, and a few minutes drive to many different hikes. We highly recommend staying at Beach Melody!

We had the best experience at this home. The house was perfect, clean, and the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything you could possibly need. There was only two of us staying and we both loved it. Very homey. It would be perfect for a family as well. The host was so nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Beach Melody is the perfect home away from home. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk from the house. The backyard is a great place to sit in the sun and read or play with your best four-leg friend. Don’t worry if you forgot something at home, the host likely has you covered. I’ve never stayed at a vacation rental that provides everything you could possibly need. Best stay ever!
