Quality Inn Colorado Springs Airport

I booked it because they claim to have airport shuttle. They do NOT. I had to uber instead of booking a different hotel that offered it. Annoying.

Airport shuttle very limited

Staff are very friendly. Pool was ice cold, and hot tub was luke warm and over filled.

Easy parking

Needs bigger parking lot, new paving, new striping of parking spaces. Fill in the potholes!

Very friendly staff (except one front desk clerk). Interior of property was very clean. Parking lot was filled with potholes and loose asphalt (difficult to maneuver in wheelchair).

Room is dated. Stadd at front desk got my reservation confused with another. I had to help straighten things out. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, and waffle as well as cereal and toast. Staff was friendle. Pool was small and unwelcoming.

My only complaint was no elevator so I had to carry luggage up the stairs to my room.

Just a basic, no frills motel. The room was clean and adequate with a king bed. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was OK, just get there early as they close at 9:30 am. Unfortunately the smoking area is right in front of the entrance. Most times there was someone smoking during the days we were there. If you have mobility issues, be advised that there are no elevators for the 2nd floor.

Cpool and hot tub area not available was decently clean but in L Repair shower had panels falling off the wall

Generally in disrepair. The sitting chair in our room was so stained it was disgusting.

The room was not clean. Carpet was sticky and the main comforter had stains on it.

The bedding was dirty and there was no staff to provide clean bedding. Overall the room just felt dirty, run down, and grimey. Would never recommend this place to a friend or family.

I traveled to Colorado for medical reasons, and was given a room on the 2nd floor. They dont have elevators! I was getting a surgical procedure and can't walk up 2 flights of stairs. I've never stayed at a hotel where there's no elevators, its not even in the description. So, I asked for a room on the 1st floor, there was only 1 available. Upon entering my room, I was hit in the face with such a foul musty odor, and the room was really hot, the air was not on. It was fairly gross. Everything looked clean, the bed was nice. I opened the window a bit and turned on the air to let the smell out thinking, maybe the room has just been closed off for a while? I proceed to unpack and put stuff away, I sit on the floor real quick to put stuff into the fridge, and noticed that my butt was wet once I stood up. Weird! I touched the carpet with my hands, and the entire carpet throughout the room was damp and pretty wet in some places. Thats where the smell was coming from! I go out to the front desk and said the floor was wet and that it smelled pretty bad. I was told it was shampooed 3 days prior and to open the window. I asked for a different room, there was none available. So I sucked it up, hoping the smell would dissipate. I went to read a book in the lobby. After 2 hours or so, I returned to the room to find a HUGE beetle of some sort in the bed!! The window was open, but a screen was in place. Needless to say, I left and went to another Hotel in the area.

We were very disappointed. The room was filthy. I have a baby who is crawling and she had been in her car seat for hours while we traveled, so I let her down to crawl. Immediately her hands and knees were black! The cover on the bed smelled bad. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything happening in the next room. The smell when we first entered the room was revolting. There were a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot which made us uncomfortable. The staff at the front desk, however, were very nice.

Nice and clean room and bathroom. Easy and free parking. Breakfast was great.

The shuttle van smelled heavily of smoking. The room also had an odor of cigarette smoke. I requested a nonsmoking room. The air conditioner sounded like a jet plane. It was too hot to turn it off so had to deal with the noise. The walls are paper thin and my neighbors were very loud late into the night. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would not stay there again.

Check staff was rude at 11:30 pm. Tried calling to make sure everything was ready and no one would answer. The gal that said she was a manager fought us during check in and moved our room because of a service dog. We lost the king size bed and was moved to the first floor after being handed our keys for a second floor king. They then wanted to charge us for a pet. Room needs updated. The chair in the room was broken. The shower rod needs fixed. The bathtub drain hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Paint needs touched up in the bathroom. Over all the place isn’t bad but for the price we paid and the problems we had during check in, might detour us next time from this property!

Noisy

Very noisy inside and out. Room looked like it had a water leaking into it from ceiling. Beds very uncomfortable… hard Couldn’t get tub water to switch to shower. Maintenance of building not kept up and needs attending.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Wifi took forever to connect on my phone. No elevator and my room was on the second floor at the end of the hall from the stairs. Tv had two remotes with no instructions and I was unable to get the tv to work. Breakfast was typical.

My stay here was brief. When I arrived there was no parking along the front of the property. So I parked behind the building but the building can't be accessed from the back without a room key. It was a bit on a walk on uneven road to go around to the front of the building. Once I make my way to the front door I'm greeted by at least a dozen people, many who are smoking. The water temp in the shower was luke warm. Very disappointing. Otherwise, my room was ok. Staff was professional. I didn't have breakfast there. However, as I was departing I asked the employee if there was coffee in the coffee pot in the lobby. He said yes. Of-course, the pot was empty.

The hotel was good for a short stay. It had a comfortable bed. The hotel is in need of a serious remodeling. The tile in the bathroom was slippery and worn. The surrounding area was noisy and there was light coming in on 3 sides of the door.

The lady at the front desk was awesome! I wish I could remember her name. The property was great and I’d definitely stay there again!

The staff went above and beyond to be nice.

The Quality Inn needs a face-lift and an elevator. While the location is good for an early flight, the carpet, the room decor, etc needs updating. Front desk staff had to be called to the front desk from a back room where they were constantly on personal calls.

Front desk was so rude

desk staff was totally unable to get me checked in. I arrived at 2;50pm and was told only upstairs rooms available and no elevator. I am 80 years old. I was told downstairs room would be available in 20 minutes so I said I will wait but I have a 4pm dinner engagement. At 320 housekeeping women told the desk a room was available and they asked for my ID credit card etc. Desk clerk couldnt find the room in the computer then called the housekeeper on the phone to ask why. Then I was told it would be 20 minutes again. At 5 min to three I approached the desk and asked what the is status and the girl acted like she had forgotten me. She tried to call HKP with her radio but no answer then tried to call on the phone no answer. I finally told them I couldn't wait as I had to go my dinner engagement was all the way across town. Got checked in at 6pm but I would never go near that place again.

The staff here was the best part of our stay by far. All of them were super helpful and friendly we felt right at home. The facility is nice and clean and it was ready to get to parking would love to have an elevator to use but the service received more than made up for that. They also have a wonderful breakfast in the morning that we enjoyed also. Will definitely be coming back.

We had no tv or internet the whole stay. Plus staff incorrectly charged a large amount of money for deposit to our card even though we already paid for the room. Then front desk staff was rude and hung up on my boyfriend when we were trying to rectify it. Still trying to get the money refunded.

Close to the airport

Tv, very hard to set up they give you two remotes and then you have to try to get the one remote to go to HDMI so you can get any type of TV other than the word channels. The air conditioning is very poor in the room smell very damp. The worst part is we get up in the morning and the bathtub in one of the rooms won’t drain. Same room had issues flushing the toilet. The area surrounding the hotel is very unkept kind of feels unsafe with abandon furniture and trash.

Tough area. Careful if out and about.

Everything was okay,just had to drive some distance to were we wanted to go.

Older hotel, but clean and comfy beds. Very close to the airport. I stay here often when I'm flying through the Springs, it's about 10 minutes from the hotel to rental car drop off yet there is never any noise from passing aircrafts.

Very basic motel. Good price and close to the airport.

Too far from anything

The property is convenient and close to the airport. This is why I always choose to stay there. Quiet and the property is nice and clean.

Short overnight stay left really early. Easy and short distance to Colorado Springs Airport..Would recommend this property for really early airplane take offs...

The bed was great… The bathroom seems a little outdated The breakfast was very good Eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels biscuits, and gravy, etc.

The staff at this inn were helpful and very friendly! They kept all areas clean and the breakfast was very good!

Access to everything is convenient. Staff is very efficient and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, had good choices and nicely kept.

Breakfast was limited. No Potato/hash brown options. Two types of sausage but no bacon. Only warmed cheese omelettes, no scrambled, or boiled (hot or cold).

The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable! The continental breakfast was so good! There were scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, as well as a variety of cold cereal, toast, donuts and juice! It was very delicious!

Good value and very quiet. Breakfast in the morning was always fresh and very good.

Breakfast staff closed early, not real friendly. Beds comfortable. Breakfast of powdered eggs, sausage links..not great but not horrible.
