Location is excellent. The shower was ridiculous. It was literally 2 square feet in a corner with a curtain. Restaurant service was very sub par. It was hard to get service and when you did, once the food was delivered, you had to hunt them down for another drink, the bill, etc. Breakfast is average but needs to be replenished more often. Hot food becomes cold. Front desk was great. Ashtrays on outdoor tables need to be cleaned and emptied regularly.

Beautiful, retro hotel with welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. We received a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse which was amazingly kind of the hotel. The evening meal was amazing, so fresh, great choices and large portions. Do not miss the apple pie, it's incredible. Brilliant stay. Shame it was only for one night.

We arrived late at night and in the room were snacks and small bottle of wine which was a perfect way to end the evening after a long flight! Staff were friendly but it is very basic, or at least out room was. The street is very busy & noisy throughout the evening & late into the night. Might be quieter at the back but as our room faced the front that’s all I can base this review on. Thankfully we were there only one night.

The staff was outstanding! So helpful and kind. Their English is perfect. We stayed one night before our cruise from Terminal A. We were able to walk the .45 miles to the port easily downhill in 11 minutes. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very good and we felt reasonably priced. We were able to do our laundry 2 doors down at a very clean facility. Great location and price was a good value.
