The hotel staff was very accommodating and nice at check-in and at checkout. The hotel breakfast was nice. We only stayed for one night, but I would definitely stay again for a small trip.

The best thing about this hotel was the convenient location to downtown Austin and the airport, and the low price. The hotel is a bit older, and the carpet in the rooms could use some cleaning. The hallways and the lobby were very warm (I'd say 78-80 degrees), but the room AC worked well and kept it comfortable to cold the entire stay in Austin heat. Everything worked, just not the nicest shower, toilet, etc. The only thing positive about the breakfast was the waffles (which are always a hit). The other hot food was essentially inedible. Yogurt, cereal, oatmeal for those that want it. The low price of <$100 per night before tax kept this rating at 3 stars. To some extent, you get what you pay for here.

Very disappointing stay. The carpet was not clean, the pool was dirty with green deposits at the bottom, and it clearly seemed poorly maintained. The air conditioning was also very noisy, especially at night. The staff was not welcoming. The most serious issue was the disappearance of my suitcase from the room. I reported the problem to the manager, but the way the situation was handled was completely unsatisfactory. No real help or solution was offered, only a simple “sorry.” I am very disappointed with this stay and I do not recommend this hotel.
