This hotel was well situated with the Riverside Markets area within easy walking distance. A convenience store and a very good souvenir shop (for gifts) were located next door. Parking was not available but we parked across the road in a parking station for NZ$12 overnight. There were 2 queen beds in the room which were comfortable. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel and instead opted for eating at the markets at a wonderful fresh food place on the ground floor.

What? Free parking is 4 blocks away or park over the road for $3 per hour! Very unexpected. Maybe this is normal with hotels in Christchurch but it's a first for me. Apart from that, it's a nice hotel.

Very central city location and Room was comfortable bur fairly basic, nut it was a great price. Only negative the sheets seemed to be washed wirh a tissue, so little bits of paper were embedded on the sheet.

We had a great stay with your company and your front desk staff member Josh was incredibly helpful to us and I would like to pass on that he provided amazing customer service and would like to acknowledge that. Our room had a great room as requested although we found 2 nights we were unable to sleep due to drilling/loud road works which we would’ve liked to be notified about or a discounted rate given as we are wanted to rest in your hotel for our travels ahead we found many many black bits in one the beds (we have photos for your reference) otherwise our stay was great although if you could get back to me about the above feedback that would be great

Handy and convenient location right in the heart of town. Eateries, shopping and tourist attractions are right on your doorstep. Rooms were extremely small, however very clean and comfortable. Staff were very warm upon arrival and were lovely, informative and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was great, a good selection of hot and cold food (bacon, eggs, hash browns, baked beans, pastries, bagels, cereals, toasts, fruits etc)

The Ibis on Hereford St was a great choice for a city centre break. Everything within walking distance supported by excellent public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and comfortable. Mostly quiet except for a couple of loud talkers in the corridor late one night, but it didn't last long.

This property was exactly as I expected for the price. Nice area with lots of dining options. Bus from the airport was $4 and easy. Check in staff was amazing. Giving this 4 instead of 5 stars due to check out. I asked 3 times if the front desk could make coffee on my departure. Front desk said NO when I left although he had a coffee machine behind him. Not a good way for me to exit my stay from Christchurch.

Ashanti was great and all the front desk staff were awesome. The nearby parking garage was a good value and not too far. Breakfast was great! Rooms were nice and comfy. Bathrooms were small but everything worked fine. We stayed here a few times and would stay again.

Excellent location. Close to Bus interchange, so you have short walk to hotel from the bus 29 you can catch from airport, Cathedral square, central city shopping, river bank cafes and market are all very short walk from the hotel. Room is on the small size but beds are comfortable and room is clean. Think that they just need maybe 2 chairs for double room, not one. Christchurch is beautiful, walkable city and we didn't spend much time in the room anyway, so for short stays is perfect.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Hotel befindet sich nahe dem Zentrum. Unweit des Hotels befindet sich die Airport Busstation Linie 8. Auch der zentrale Busbahnhof ist in ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Nähe des Hotels befindet sich auch die Markthalle, mit vielen Essständen. Die Hop-on Hop-of Straßenbahn ist in ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

About 5 mins walk to bus interchange, riverside markets, restaurants, shopping, cathedral square (shuttle busses to gondola, antarctic centre, willowbank wildlife reserve), central library. Clean and fresh feeling rooms. Great breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon n sausage, hash brown, yoghurt, bread, muesli, fruits, croissants, muffins, coffee, hot chocolate, juices. Tv with lots of channels and chromecast. We, family with a 5 and a 3 year old, had a great stay. Would stay again.

The location is great . Room is clean and quiet. But the bottle of juice served in breakfast is refilled and bottle is not clean. It seems the bottles was not cleaned properly after each use.
