The experience was great. One big problem, the charge for my small chiwauwau was $75 for one night. I was never told about this, either from the property or Expedia. Needless to say, I will not be staying at Hampton Inn, nor will I be using Expedia again!!!

Good stay, clean and comfy beds. Hotel is showing a little wear and tare but no reason not to stay here. I did think their $75 fee for 2 cats was excessive. I can understand a deposit in case of damages but a flat out charge of $75 is a robbery.

The staff are very nice and the hotel is clean. No problems there. I had my vision impaired dog with me. The dog walking area is at the very front of the property very close to I-12. It was noisy and scary to my dog. There is also very little grass because of being worn down and not maintained. I did find a much quieter area with grass. Walk around to the long backside of the bldg. It’s about 10’ wide between the hotel and adjacent property/ditch. Much more quiet.

Our rooms were VERY musty. Febreeze couldn’t fix it. Felt like water damage covered up. Our entire floor smelled that way.

The hotel room itself was pretty clean. However, it did smell musty when we walked in. The shower was also making a high pitched noise when turned on. The mattress is definitely on the firmer side however the comforter was very soft. Overall, the stay was a good one the AC worked really well and the shower got hot fast. The only things I wish were better was that the shower wasn’t making noises and the smell wasn’t there. The customer service and breakfast were all great tho.

Staff was super nice but the rooms felt damp and there was mold in the room. I typically have a fantastic experience with these properties but this stay was terrible. I had to shower again in the am after feeling damp and dirty with cleaning conditions.

I booked this room for my mother in law and 2 sons for a local tournament. I booked a room with 2 queen beds. In us talking about her trip, I just found out they were given a room with a king and a pullout couch. She did not realize I had booked 2 queens. I don’t know anyone that has ever gotten a decent night’s sleep on a pullout.

I reserved 2 queens, they gave me a king...when I tried to change, she said they were overbooked, but I witnessed another family check in after me & they received 2 queen room. Our room smelled 'moldy', the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the shower drained slow...just overall not a great stay.

Overall, it’s a nice spot, but they have issues. First, ground floor has moisture issues. We had smelly water stains in our room around the AC and they were trying to steam clean another room. We had to ask multiple times to get our room cleaned after they skipped us (supposed to clean every other day) and they failed to address issues with the room next to us being loud and rowdy at 3am on multiple days.

Breakfast buffet area was being worked on and they were supplying ready to go meals , but they ran out. Nothing to eat was available. No juices , just warm coffee. When i asked about it at front desk , worker was very rude.

Very nice staff. I reserved this room for my son and his new bride and they put the champagne bucket, champagne, glasses and flowers in the room so that it was a nice surprise after a long beautiful day. I will definitely recommend this property and use it myself on future trips.

The only thing that I liked about this property was its location-it was in very close proximity to the interstate and restaurants, shops, etc. Other than that, the property was disappointing to say the least. We were in room 211 and we dubbed it the room from “hell”. The room had a terrible odor, the bathroom was not clean, the lights flickered but never came on and more than half of the outlets in the room did not work. On the next to last day of our stay, the big light in our bathroom went out and we were left with only the shower light. All we could do is laugh. The door was so very hard to shut that most times all we needed to do is just push it open because it never closed. Oh and our room phone rung constantly throughout the night. When I would answer it, no one responded. This happened all night and day. We thought we were being pranked and eventually unplugged it. Needless to say, I won’t be staying there again.
