Good breakfast. parking to unload was a little distance from front door.

The advertisement for this property listed a pool and hot tub. The pool was closed for the entire stay and there is no hot tub on the property. This is false advertisement so we were very disappointed. I bought a new swimsuit and couldn't wear it.

I just got my cards to get in headed to the room the keys did not work, Had to go back to the office. Then the fire alarms went off and we all waited for the fire department to clear burnt toast. The following day I had to go back to office I couldn’t get in again. That night they come busting into my room. Claiming I was not in this room, show my ID. They apparently told me a room but gave me a different number. Hence the cards never working.

Great front desk employee. Booked a 2 bedroom and said it wasn’t available when I got there. Very kind front desk employee gave me 2 one bedrooms right next to each other. Got to the room and it had a clean air machine going and an awful smell. Switched to two other rooms next to each other that smelled like curry but no other rooms to move to. Wish I would have just left. Hotel is very dated and there are even soft spots in the floor on the 2nd floor hallways that were very scary, ice machine didn’t work, hot tube closed. 👎👎

The carpet had many stains. Breakfast was limited and cold food. The place needs updating but was ok. Staff was attentive to the not having room keys issue. They had to let everyone in to rooms over 24 hours.

Fire in hotel rendered elevator inoperable thru- out stay. Pool heater was broke = pool was unpleasantly cold. Breakfast served sausage that were barely warm. These had noticeable bone chips in them. Coffee was cold 1/2 way thru breakfast service. There was no outreach from staff after the fire. No explanation or offer of any type of com for the 0500 to 0800 disruption in our morning, loss of elevator use or less than expected amenities.

Room was smaller tan expected. Ice machine not working. Broken knife…dangerous. Didn’t know that cash was not excepted. Front clerk rude. Sauna pool closed for repairs. Housekeeping Sanda B delightful. Jose

I never like to complain when I am less than satisfied with a service or visit to an establishment. I try to give the benefit of the doubt because I do not know the underlying circumstances that happened prior to my service. However, there were so many issues since we checked in that I need to at least mention them without placing blame or accusing anyone of poor service. Let me stress that the staff was wonderful in addressing these issues and I know they were not at fault. Some of the issues were: a toilet that kept running (I fixed it myself, it was a chain that had dropped to the bottom of the tank), the main door to the hall would not close as the latch was installed backwards (maintenance was prompt in fixing this and the toilet issue), there were blood stains on the carpet in one bathroom, the fireplace did not work (it was summer so we let this pass). Overall, the stay was still nice despite these issues and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Lastly, however, we were on our way to checkout with my sister and 3 grandkids, when the elevator door slammed shut with us in there just as my sister walked out. It was a stressful 10 minutes or less as they tried to get the door to open. All were fine if not a little frazzled. We were there for two days and nights and did enjoy our stay. However, it is doubtful we will return.

Did not like that it says hot tub on website and no hot tub. I didn’t like the fact that the pool was closed one out of two days and that was the main reason to come .

The room had a lot of space and amenities. The carpet had some tears in it showing use. He said the bed was not comfortable, but she slept great. The hot tub was out of order and that was disappointing.

I called ahead to request an early check-in and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. But when I arrived at the expected time, the room wasn’t ready. I could deal with that, but what happened next was absolutely disgusting. When I finally got to our assigned room at 2 a.m., the door was wide open like anyone could just walk in. Inside, the bed had no sheets, the bedding was filthy like someone had slept there before without changing anything, and every drawer and cupboard was left open. It felt like walking into a nightmare of filth and neglect. This is beyond unacceptable—it’s a serious health hazard. I immediately reported this to Danie at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and understanding. She listened carefully, apologized sincerely, and quickly arranged for us to be moved to clean rooms. Her kindness and professionalism were the only bright spots in this awful situation. Then, after barely five hours of restless, gross sleep, someone else tried to get into our room, claiming it was theirs. This level of chaos and disregard for basic hygiene and security is appalling. The reason I originally booked a 2-bedroom suite was because I had a younger female with me so we could stay together for safety and comfort. But when we got moved to new rooms, she had to be separated, and then someone actually opened her door trying to get in. That made the whole situation even more unsettling and stressful.

I liked that it was an easy check-in. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. The halls were clean and smelled good as well as the elevator. The free breakfast was a plus. Good experience.

Hotel was very basic, but was fine for our purposes. The property is definitely ready for a refurbishment. The black out curtains were torn. Rooms were fine. However, we stayed four nights and the rooms were not freshened at all during our stay. Not even to empty trash or freshen towels. I would probably look for another place to stay next trip

The place is filthy. Kitchen ware in room was dirty. Dishwasher was not turned on from previous stay. Black out curtains are rotted out, block no light from parking lot or street. Pooled was closed again. Huge stains on couch. Can’t they make a hide a bed that’s comfortable to sit on? The whole property needed a remodel 2 years ago. Embarrassing to have this property under the Marriot name.

Our stay was great...and the suite was very clean! Our breakfast was tasty but could have been hotter.. the front desk service and breakfast service was excellent!

Hotel was understaffed. Hallways and elevators were filthy. Couldnt get into my room until 530 and room still wasnt clean

Do not stay at this location it’s filthy. The floors are gross the walls are gross the fireplace doesn’t work the alarms go off during the night and it’s nasty here not fit to stay in

This hotel is wonderful!! We only stayed one night, but if I were to stay for multiple days, this is the place to stay! It has a full, functioning kitchenette (complete with dining area), couch/living room space and a separate bedroom. I especially loved the fact that the mirror /sink were outside of the toilet/bath room, allowing for residents to use the bath facilities without having to wait for their partners to do make-up/hair etc. The welcoming and extremely friendly staff were also an added bonus. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I travel through Lansing.

Very well maintained property. Rooms are basically mini apartments, with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and cook top. Will stay here again.

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Room was perfect for quite time before my meeting in the morning.

The tv didn't work, the carpet in the bedroom was flooded, and in the middle of the night water was dripping onto the bed from the ceiling

The room was amazing! While we only used for overnight lodging it was great. We had a king studio which would be ideal for a businessperson who might have to stay several days. It had a nice desk set up, complete kitchen (even a dishwasher). The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Room was very run down. Tack strip showing in the living area, curtain falling off of the wall, carpet stained, couch stained, complete door missing from the bathroom vanity, stained walls, all furniture damaged. Received no daily room service, no fresh towels, didn't empty trash or replenish coffee. Lobby and outside looks nice but where it counts, in the room, big fail.

I don't sleep well away from home... at this hotel I sleep GREAT!! Love the comforts of home in the rooms. Great staff, very clean, and breakfast is always a delight! Love this place

We left very early the next morning due to the room being so cold. We didn't even shower because it was so cold. We tried to adjust the heat higher, but couldn't get it to register more than 71 degrees. The hallways were even cooler. Also, the toilet was a bit lower than most hotels.

This facility has some of the best staff that I have ever encountered. Everyone was so very kind, respectful, helpful and overall, just wonderful!! Please do some renovations to the rooms, pool, and hotel. This is such a wonderful place and the only one I can find with 2 bedroom suites! Please PRAISE the staff!!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Our room was perfect, clean and spacious. Saturday morning breakfast was great but Sunday, was not. They only had small plates out and the eggs and sausage tasted fake. My only room complaint would be to get better bed pillows. They felt like they were just pillowcases stuffed with stuffing. Not firm or comfortable. Otherwise, we will be back.

The receptionist, Keyna is the shinning star of this hotel. She was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms rates are low because the hotel needs a total overhaul. The carpets in my room were very stained. The breakfast was poor. For the past 2 weeks, I've been staying in similar type of hotels with the same kind of breakfast, but this was the worst. The rooms are comfortable with a good layout. I'm sure after they remodel and tweak a few things it will be a thriving hotel again.
