The hotel is clean inside and check in was easy. Parking wise, they have a security guard on premises at all times and is well lit at night. The morning breakfast is good, a little bit of everything. My hotel room was clean and as pictured online. The only bad thing is the elevator, there is one working elevator and it's small and slow. I ended up using the stairs because the line could get long. I wish the Ethernet cables on the desk worked too, the wifi didn't connect with my work computer well and the Ethernet cables were like a false hope when I saw them. I felt very happy for the hotel being a 3 star hotel and it being as nice as it was.

This hotel felt very clean and the facilities were nice. I used the pool, spa and treadmill in the tiny gym. Was fairly quiet and the rooms were nice. The surrounding area is not nice but Bakersfield is not usually a destination.

Very clean property, very clean lobby, very clean room and eating area. The staff is the best. Breakfast is awesome, the cold water is excellent. Easy free parking. I will definitely refer this location to family and friends. I will definitely stay here again.

We should stay here tuo nights. We cancelled the other night. We found a dead cockroach, the pressure of the shower was very low and water was almost cold. They give us another room that we could go to shower. Carpets were quite dirty partly.

The facilty was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable! The food at the breakfast buffet was fresh and the area was kept clean! Our suite was tidy and supllied with plenty of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. So much so that i didnt even need to use my own!

The couch mattresses are worn out and dirty. Bathroom shower curtain is dirty. There’s a dirty rug towel in the bath tub. Had to move to a different room, same problem noted with the couch mattress.

Not sure why this place has such high ratings. It was dirty, there were scrapes on the walls, nightstands, pretty much everywhere. There was what I was hoping was ketchup on the couch, and the elevator needs WORK. I would not stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was for one night and my kids wanted to stay longer..lol. its very clean, nice location. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if i visited Bakersfield. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed staying here. 5/5. Thank you to all the staff.

I didn't really like the layout of our double room. TV was placed too far away to cover the living room and bedroom. Parts of the hotel seem pretty nice and other parts seem dated, like the rooms themselves, but the hallways look nice. Anyway, price was good so can't complain and would probably stay again on the way down from northern California.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The shower was broken, and the iron board was also in disrepair. Clearly, the rooms are in desperate need of a remodel. The front desk was severely understaffed, and don't even think about getting a room change—they’ll just leave you stuck in your current room. The manager Curtis is extremely rude and avoids addressing any concerns as he feels “uncomfortable”. They flat out lie about any complaints you make to avoid offering a refund. When I asked to speak with him, he refused, claiming they were short-staffed and couldn’t do anything about the issues. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

The women at the front counter were amazing. I was nervous relocating my life in my car. They reassured me the safety of the property. They checked in on me! They made sure that we were well taken care of. I was very impressed with the customer service at the front desk - Lillian was the best! Very comfortable hotel.

Beware of this hotel. They will overcharge and then pretend they do not have a record of it. After paying for my stay through Expedia, the hotel also charged the entire cost of the stay to the credit card they took for incidentals only. Then they gave me the runaround for a couple of weeks stating they do not have a record of the transaction when I submitted copies of my credit card statement shown clearly the charges. I eventually had to file a dispute with my bank.

The hot tub did not work- no matter how many times we turned it on. The hotel itself was VERY humid and HOT! Housekeeping knocking on door constantly at 8:30 am but check out is at 12. Our hotel room was 80 when we first went it. Due to my special needs child- we have to keep our rooms at 70-72 at the highest. We set the room at 70 and took them to dinner and then swimming. We didn’t re-enter the room until 9 PM (check in several hours prior) and the room was barely 77. At midnight it barely hit 75 and my 8 am the next morning it was 74. FRUSTRATING to say the least having to deal with what comes with this & my sped child. Housekeeper knocked at 8:30 and again at 9:30, finally got frustrated enough to open the door and she just apologized. Took the kids down to breakfast at 9:45 and she was WAITING by our door. 🙄 Breakfast was “EHH” but it’s ok because I go elsewhere for my SPED child anyway. Came back and packed and again housekeeper waiting right outside my door- talk about feeling rushed to leave. Probably won’t stay here again.

I really like or stay here! I just didn't like the same breakfast everyday it don't switch up! And the water pressure is really low! We also like the cookies at the front desk throughout the day! Very nice staff, clean, accessible, quick to help! Prices are very high there
