Location was great and parking was easy (World Trade Center parking 28 dollars/night). Hotel was clean and pool area with kids easy. Sun is suning there only 2 hours (11 am-1pm). Room was big. Staff was friendly.

Good hotel, friendly staff. Pricey on food and drinks. Not a bad area. However, they will charge you $65 a day for valet parking, and there is no other place to park. Be aware of this when booking, as it's not clearly disclosed.

Not a bad hotel. Looks very modern in lobby and elevators and amenities but the room itself feels dated. The shower water pressure is very low and the beds while comfortable do not feel as clean as they should. My sheets smelled like cigarettes for some reason. Valet, while the workers are nice ; is VERY pricey. $56 a night! In / out is unlimited but it takes upwards of 10 min to get your car. And if it’s busy time of day, could be even worse. Plan accordingly. It’s in a convenient spot downtown, close to the stadiums and arenas but the area is a bit sketchy the further away you get from the hotel/ I:e jollibee or Taco Bell. Again, not bad but I’m sure there is better options in the area. I expected more from a Westin

This hotel was a dream hotel for me since I was quite young. So staying here for the first time was an exciting experience. My only complaints are that it is understandably old, but also the multiple restuarants and stores that were on floors 2-6 are no longer open. The libby restuarant and rooftop restuarant (amazing) are really the only options. But over all we would stay there again.

50% of retail is closed including independent restaurants. I remember it in its hay day. Its still a unique property but I dont see a way yo get full occupancy for retail. Still clean and a nice inexpensive place to stay downtown.

The property is older and not been updated. There is room service but they are still following Covid rules so you get disposable dishes and also the coffee cups in the room are disposable. The wall are very thin and you can hear the next door occupants in the bathroom and the room. There is no fan/ ventilation in the bathroom so it gets stuffy. For the valet parking, the clearance is only 6 feet/ 72 inches and our SUV would not fit into the basement parking. We had to park across the street for $50/ night but there is a back door access to the hotel with a key card.

My first time staying in Los Angeles, and I don’t think I could’ve picked a better place to stay! Parking, checking-in was simple, and the room was perfect. The views were beautiful (every window and elevator), the pool was like nothing other (heated and spacious), and with the Downtown location, everything was nearby (entertainment, food, etc). However, you are staying in Downtown, which means it is the prime location for everything. This city never sleeps. You’ll might wake up at 4am and hear cars driving or people walking/talking. It was a bit difficult for me and my partner to rest throughout the night, but the outside noise was not the hotels fault. Just something to be aware of booking this location. Thankfully, the hotel provided a sleep scent on the side of the bed. It is best for you to be prepared for long wait times when retrieving your vehicle with valet. It can either be 5 minutes, or 30 minutes. But understand there isn’t much staffing, and we understand the valet drivers are doing their best. All in all, it was a great place! The staff were all so helpful. Me and my partner agreed to stay here again if we were to visit the city. It definitely captured our spirit.

If you're a fan of cool architecture like my husband and I are, you'll enjoy this hotel for that feature alone. I won't go into all those details, but suffice to say the circular nature of the entire structure is amazing. As for everything else, here goes. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, well appointed, and the right size for just the 2 of us. We were only there for a few days to take in a Dodger game, so did not partake in many of the amenities like the pool or the 35th floor upscale restaurant. But we did spend time in the main floor bar, which was fun. The bartenders were wonderfully friendly and knew their stuff! We also ate breakfast at the Lake View Bistro and the food was great. I had the eggs benedict and it was delicious. Our biggest disappointment was with what this hotel considers 'room service.' We've enjoyed actual room service a few times in our lifetime of travel, the kind where a server in uniform wheels into your room a small table and your meals are on real plates covered by sturdy silver-domes to keep the food warm, and there are real utensils and real glasses filled with water, etc. That is not what you get from the Westin. You order from the in-house restaurants and the food is delivered in to-go bags with the food in to-go containers, with plastic utensils of course. A total let down.

The Westin Bonaventure is a unique iconic architectural marvel for it's time. Gym,pool and restaurants all within walking distance. Hotel has no complimentary parking. The hotel charges mandatory $52 USD per night valet parking. You can not find parking in the Downtown LA area. If your budget allows, it is worth a one time stay in your lifetime. The AC was off when I walked in, super hot. The room smelled and the bathroom had a smell as well that didn’t go away but it was an okay hotel. The view was nice, slept nice.

Last year I came here with my girlfriend for our vacation. The room we were offered was not so good and didn’t meet at our wants. Probably we also made a review but not followed up if I remembered correctly. The bathroom no ventilation WiFi internet acesss did not work so I had to call an agent about 40 min and Netflix did not work and most importantly bed sheet was stained with some weird color. This year I just wanted to give a shot one more time only because we loved the lobby where bar is located. But it turns out to be mistake lol… the bed sheet was stained AGAIN and we smell something…. We immediately knew it was not properly or through washed or I think they just didn’t do the laundry. I and my girlfriend totally leave the bed blanket on the floor and slept without it. I told the receptionist at the front desk specifically I experienced that last year but same issue came out so I probably won’t come back and no more shot for this hotel. :( location is amazing staffs were kind but the most important part in hotel business I think it is being sanitary :( because beeed is where I and my loved ones sleep together. :(

Open the dresser beneath the TV drawers, and there was dirty clothes from the last person and some other items I will not comment on. As well as no shower towels in the room the room was filthy.

I checked in to my room, changed to go to the pool, and stepped into the bathroom. I opened the toilet lid, and the seat was covered with fresh urine. I took a photo and went back to the reception desk. She asked if I’d like to change rooms. Would I like to change rooms!? I would have liked a full refund and to change hotels entirely, but I didn’t have that kind of time, The “upgraded” room they gave me had threadbare carpet fraying around the edges. Do not recommend.

The hotel is seriously dated. Everything requires a refurbishment. The color scheme and furniture are straight out of the 90’s. No one even answered the assistance hotline. When you called valet they also didn’t answer. Getting from parking to the front desk with your luggage is ridiculously difficult; you must traverse the 2 escalators and there are NO bellman to assist.

It was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I had a great nights sleep, despite the noise outside. The second night I was more aware of the noise, although I’m not sure what it was. Seemed like there was all night construction but maybe it was just the freeway. Still, great bed!

Where should I start… We arrived at the hotel a little after 10:30 pm, we were told by the parking attendant that the valet lot was full and we would have to find parking elsewhere.. When we finally got to our room, we discovered that the toilet was broken, the actual water was turned off since the bowl had a crack in it.. When we went to the front desk to inform them, the desk clerk was extremely rude and and stated that they could not move us to a comparable room, we would have to wait for engineering to come inspect the toilet.. unable to give eta. It was already after 11pm. The desk clerk was not very customer oriented. However, Jordan the night manager was very helpful and was able to comp the room. I would not stay at this property again.

Overall, the hotel was good. The rooms were clean and in good condition. Especially if you have a car, the valet service was very fast and the staff were friendly. However, the person who checked us in was quite rude and inattentive. When we tried to ask something about hotel and parking, she did not provide clear answers and just brushed us off. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but the front office staff should definitely be more polite and welcoming.

I love this hotel, but didn't have a great experience when we arrived it was a bit disappointing the luggage carriers weren't working, so we had to carry all our bags. But the valet guy was sweet an apologetic. Then at check in the lady that attended me (LOURDES) was not friendly at all didn't even say hi didn't even smile just asked my name. At one point she asked if we stayed there before, I said yes, she proceeds to hand me my room key and says ok then you should know where to go. So since I have stayed there before she doesn't explain anything to me. I had told her to have a goodnight she didn't even reply to me just looked at me. She just kept looking at me so weird almost felt like I was being judged. I find that to be very rude and unprofessional. The cleaning lady was so nice and at check out (Luis) was so nice asked how everything was, if we enjoyed our stay, super friendly, I really wish check-in was this friendly.

Disappointing Experience – Not What I Expected from a Westin We stayed at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles for 4 days and had two connecting rooms. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to expectations. One of the showers in our rooms was not working upon arrival. We reported the issue right away, but despite multiple follow-ups, it was never fixed. No one offered us an alternative room, repair timeline, or even a basic apology—let alone any compensation. Additionally, I prepaid for breakfast for the duration of our stay. However, the hotel insisted I had only paid for one day. I escalated the matter to the Manager, but instead of addressing our concerns professionally, he barely looked up from his computer and dismissed us. As a Hispanic woman traveling with her family, I couldn’t help but feel that our concerns weren’t taken seriously or treated with respect. The staff was amazing. Our trip started off poorly with transportation issues and took us longer than expected to arrive. We were promptly allowed to check in a little early and it made a huge difference in getting a little rest after a long ordeal. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was helpful in making food recommendations. There a so many great eats around in the area.

The property itself was beautiful. One thing they can fix is the toilet paper. Worse than a truck stop! A few things they can fix…lots of road noise over the weekend from cars racing. Another thing is we went to LA Prime for dinner and drinks, the view was amazing until every single view had graffiti and tagging in it. O know they can help that others do this but it is such a beautiful restaurant.

The property was beautiful and had food inside the hotel. The only issue was the brewery was booked out both nights, so we were unable to eat there; however, the lobby dining was delicious both times we ate there.
