Beautiful hotel! The pool areas is wonderful and quiet. I would stay here again!

Perfect location, fashion design and friendly staff. The indoor pool was nice and relaxing.

9.9997 rating hahaha. They were amazing. But they didnt turn their jacuzzi up. Nor did they have a refrigerator or microwave, nor did they have a seaker system in the room. With al that (like killer hotels in los angeles) they woukd have scored a perfect 10. But truly, they deserve the 9.99997. Awesome, sweet service, gorgeous hotel, beautiful pool area. They are among the very best. Thank you Casa Kloster! We love you!

This hotel is in a great location! Not having hot water in the hot tub was a major disappointment.

Casa Kloster is within a unique palace. It has been restored with care and amazing details. The light green limestone which is on the doors, floors and some walls, plus the amazing decor makes this place beautiful and unique. Very clean and comfortable bedrooms. High quality is everywhere. Our only issue was that the hot tub in the pool area is not warm enough. We asked if they could heated more but the reception said that was the maximum, which feels like it's about 95 F. We also noticed some electrical concerns, like GFCI outlets very near water (bathroom sinks) and the hot tub, which if they are wired correctly should be no problem, but still, feels like a hazard. Also, the electric sub panel near the hot tub was unlocked, and 3 feet away. The pool and hot tub felt they also had a high chlorine content. The location was fantastic and the service also great. They helped us arrange a city tour which was great. However, their restaurant recommendations were very bad. Overall a great place to stay, safe, clean and beautiful.

Great new hotel right in the center of Guanajuato! Brand new amenities and nice pool in the basement. My only and biggest complain is that they didn’t provide any assistance finding parking… it took me over one hour to find a place to park and driving around Guanajuato is not an easy task

Very very Brand new property! This was an awesome stay with the family. Central located but not in the center which is awesome for the peace and quiet ( of course the occasional callejonada) that passes by through the night but it’s part of the city’s tradition. The pool and the hot tub were open and they were magnificent not many properties have this amenities. The only issue we had and I mean the only issue was the hot water not working, other than that everything else was perfect. Location, amenities and staff 10 out 10, i definitely will come back to Casa Kloster when around Guanajuato city.

Nice hotel but very bad customer service, you cant ask for anything because they don't have it or because no one is available to give it to you. First night bed was so filthy full of hairs on room 303. We get moved to room 302 by the night attendant .That was nice of him. Next morning we had to pack because now they are moving us to another room because the night attendant move us to a upgraded room and now we have to downgrade. I told Raul the day attendant i never ask for a upgrade room just a clean room but he didnt care. He want it to charge me another $1800 pesos to stay on the same one. So 3 nights i had to moved 3 times.

This hotel is really nice just opened about 5 months ago, so everything on the property is new and modern. The staff is super helpful and nice, the receptionist at the front desk speak very well English for those non-Spanish speaking tourists. The hotel helps you out booking daily tours for about 200 pesos per person (apx $10 usd dollars). They also help you store your bags to tour the city after you check out. Hotel has an elevator. Mattress and pillows were alright. Room size was decent good size, with enough room. AC installed in room is a plus, and Tv did not have cable, only had streaming services like Netflix, Disney , ViX, etc. I only take a star away bc no hair conditioner provided and also I found hairs left at the shower from prior guest, so that was a bit gross! For being a new hotel they should double check the housekeeping service work to make sure their doing an excellent job cleaning the room. Location is ideal, only 1 block away from the Basilica and the main town square “Plaza de la Paz.” Since Guanajuato is so walkable this hotel is super convenient. If you’re looking for quietness, this place as well any other nearby hotels you will most likely not find it during night hours. Close to midnight the city has a tradition called “callejoniado”where mobs of happy people go singing and take mariachis walking up and down alleys and streets of the town, so it’s inevitable that you may hear noise from the streets bc Guanajuato is just a lively city to visit.

Clean and modern! Just a minute's walk from the city center, this location strikes the perfect balance between a peaceful atmosphere and easy accessibility. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It’s a safe and convenient place to stay, allowing us to return to the hotel during our sightseeing adventures to freshen up or take a brief rest. We absolutely loved it!

We stayed at Hotel Kloster in Guanajuato for our honeymoon, and sadly, it didn’t meet 4-star standards. At check-in, the front desk didn’t greet or assist us. Thankfully, Alfredo the bellboy stepped in and explained the hotel services—he was the only staff member who provided quality service. We booked through Expedia and were supposed to receive a perk, but it wasn’t mentioned. The night receptionist didn’t know how it worked, and we had to bring it up ourselves. On our second night, our room keys stopped working. The night staff was unhelpful, and someone outside the hotel had to call us to explain the situation. We were moved to a louder room, away from our belongings, without an apology. We were told we’d regain access to our room at 8 a.m., but the key wasn’t ready. Even after breakfast, it still didn’t work—we had to go down twice to get it fixed, with no apology or accountability. Staff told us they couldn’t help because they weren’t the main company (Grupo Stayberry). The room and lobby also smelled like a drain the entire stay. No amenities were ever explained to us. Only Alfredo stood out. The rest of the staff needs serious training. Being a “new” hotel is no excuse for such poor service.

Absolutely loved Casa Kloster. Guanajuato is just a gem and Casa Kloster is the best hotel - the rooms are smaller but it makes it up with the Serbians atmosphere.

Do Not Stay Here. There’s an open air club across the street blasts window shaking/ear rattling music until 4am. 3 of us each booked street facing suites, which were not cheap, and after 2 nights of no sleep we ate the cost for the last night and left early. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent property in the heart of Guanajuato, 4 minute walk to the Jardin and Juarez theater. The property is fairly new and the restaurant breakfast is very delicious. They also have an elevator, most hotels in Guanajuato don’t. The staff is super friendly and cater to your hotel needs. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was very loud, restaurant staff was very rude and the service was horrible. We were told that the cream for coffee was limited and she no longer attended to our table. Overall very expensive for the quality of the hotel.

Muy bonito hotel, pero con poco personal y con poco entrenamiento. Las habitaciones estuvieron disponibles hasta las 5. Cargos inesperados y exagerados por mascota.

Absolutely gorgeous property in a great location with excellent service. Better to get a room on the inside as the outside can be noisy at night right across from a night Club. overall, we had a really great stay.

Beautiful hotel just meters from downtown

Excelente el hotel, el servicio y las instalaciones. Muy nuevo. Problemas de ruido severos en las habitaciones que dan a la calle. Hay dos discotecas enfrente que se oyen muchisimo dentro de las habitaciones impidiendo el descanso. Dejan tapones, pero no lo soluciona.

Absolutely beautiful! The tiles and marble are stunning. Plants everywhere. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast every morning was lovely. A little sanctuary from the busy city.

Nice stay, but overpriced without included breakfast I recently stayed at Casa Kloster via Expedia. The room was clean, good air conditioning, staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. However, I felt that the price was too high for what was offered — the cost didn’t include breakfast, and that really made a difference. For the price paid, I expected more amenities or some complimentary breakfast at least. Overall, good hotel. Would recommend checking what is included before booking and comparing with other options.

La alberca esta fria y no hay servicio de comida o cena solo desayunos y el personal de recepcion cero enfoque al cliente. Personal de limpieza amables y excelente su trabajo.

Magnificent staff.! Nice place to stay its classy, clean I felt safe and comfortable their staff is so helpful and welcoming! Restaurant for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner was delicious! Gloria was so helpful and attentive with a very positive attitude and amazing service! Will definitely come visit again when I’m Guanajuato !

I like that most of the staff was very cordial & helpful. I didn’t like that they don’t serve any alcohol or wine for our dinners.
