White Elephant Hotel

I stayed in a beautiful one-bedroom residence with first class amenities like subzero fridge, dishwasher, full dining room table. Although the hotel was being renovated, check in at the inn worked seamlessly

Everyone had been friendly and accommodating from the moment we stepped off the ferry. They met us with a shuttle and we're still here, so far so good

The hotel looked a little bit tired in a few areas Carpets needed to be cleaned some things like that. We always enjoy staying with you. We really enjoyed the pool area and of course the bike service is always fantastic

We had a wonderful stay. We were able to use their complimentary bikes to get around the town easily. We were offered turn down service with chocolate. We had an amazing view from our room of the harbor.

Perfect in every way ( even when its not bc they make it perfect). Had the best time. Staff is warm helpful and plentiful. amenities are top notch. location is great.

Had a 5-star weekend at this hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned and checked on often (they leave you chocolate and weather forecast for the next day every night!) We got lucky and the pool was just opened on our last day so we got to enjoyed it. Also loved the location as it's super easy to go grab a bite/check out local shops anytime and there are free bikes you can use whenever!

As we were in the Inn section of the hotel, there was no dining facility or bar area to relax in. We went to sit by the pool and the pool was in dire need of a good cleaning. It was very cloudy and greenish. Needed to be shocked.

Room rates are the equivalent of European coastal hotels ( Capri) without the amenities of European hotels and without the hospitalities. Pool is not impressive. Residence ballroom should be converted to dining. Plastic container in Residence lobby for breakfast pastries is minimal and not deserving of the White Elephant. Loose bricks not maintained in steps from Residences and require maintenance in addition to elevator rug which is dirty/stained. Cushions on outside chairs require cleaning. -Hotel grounds are not impressive- especially compared to Wauwinet grounds. Disappointed in value received. Could be so much better! Positives are transportation offered and friendly front desk staff.

I've stayed in my fair share of five star hotels but this was by far the best overall hotel experience I've ever had. It's an absolutely beautiful property right on the water with so much charm, and the location is perfect. You can walk or ride their bikes to pretty much everything. The hotel also offers a BMW car service that's very lux and convenient. The rooms are extremely comfortable. But what really makes this such a special place is the staff. The service was 11/10 in all parts of the hotel. Can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous, well kept property just a short walk from shopping, bars and restaurants. Very family friendly

This was a very impressive stay. We felt everything was very very good including the attentive staff. Our bedroom was excellent and the bathroom with walk in shower - perfect.

We enjoyed an exceptional 4 night stay the staff go above all expectations to provide superb service they offer drop off and pickup to most places they have house keeping twice daily to keep your room tidy and turn your bed for the evening would HIGHLY recommend can't wait to return

Beautiful property with great amenities and walking distance to town. We loved our stay. Our suite was perfect for 3 people with a beautiful view of the harbor. We will stay here in a heartbeat!

We wanted a nice hotel close to the downtown. We stayed in one of the little bungalows. It was very quiet and private and luxurious.

We traveled to The White Elephant for our mini moon. The staff went above and beyond for our accommodations. They scheduled all our events for us including a couples massage and sunset sail. Our room was even upgraded. They provided us with rides in BMWs when needed and the staff was 15/10. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. We will definitely be back. It was a great place to begin our forever.

Having been to Nantucket several times over 30 years, we knew about the White Elephant and decided that for our 50th wedding anniversary we would stay there for a few days. From the minute we arrived, our experience could not have been better. The staff allowed us to store our luggage at the Inn until our room was ready as we were early so we went into town and walked around the harbor and had a bite to eat. As we walked into our room, the staff had told us that we had been upgraded and the room was awesome, with every amenity I could think of, and some that I couldn't, Another staff member knocked at our door about ten minutes after we arrived with a bottle of champagne and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries compliments of the Inn with a nice note wishing us congratulations on our anniversary. When I told the staff member that we didn't drink and he could take the bottle back, he asked if there was something he could substitute and when I really couldn't think of anything, he asked if we liked smoothies. I said we love smoothies and within minutes he came back with 2 of the best banana strawberry smoothies we had ever had. He didn't have to do that but it spoke to the level of care given to your guests. From the cookies and breads and charcuterie that was put out over the day and the waters delivered to our room, the service was very kind and genuine and we had never been treated like that. We can only say, thank you for the trip of a lifetime.

I have been to Nantucket many times. This was my first stay at the White Elephant with my family of 5. The hotel was wonderful , spacious with excellent staff. It is in the perfect area very close to town but still quiet and peaceful. Their Brandt point restaurant was excellent. I will definitely return in the near future Thank you White Elephant for a wonderful vacation .

The room is unbelievably comfortable the staff offer the greatest hospitality. You will never feel more relaxed. The food is absolutely superb

White Elephant is top notch staff food and shopping.

Top notch facilities with this property other than being placed in a tent at the Brant Point Grill which was somewhat off putting. It was rather cold and seems odd to still be using it in late October. Still, service and food were outstanding. Staff is amazingly attentive. Room was first class.
