Overall it is a nice facility. Room was clean and pool and hot tub area was smaller but nice. They were doing some renovations and there was construction material in the open but it was organized. Check in and out was smooth. The back door wouldn't open with a key so it was constantly propped open. The neighborhood was quiet and safe so the door was of little concern

The pool Temperature was too hot. There were not enough instructions in the room to use the television remote. Instructions on how to use the hot tub would have also been a positive item to have.

We were disappointed with the indoor pool and hot tub. We booked this hotel strictly for these amenities and the pool was very cold and the hot tub was too hot (114!) So we couldn't use either. Also the free breakfast was underwhelming. A lot of the pastries would be better served warm but there was no microwave for that or the instant oatmeal. Plus the hash potatoes were undercooked. I will say the proximity to surronding parks, restaurants, shopping centers is ideal. And Makayla the AM receptionist was very kind.

The staff at the front desk were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was very good and well stocked. Pool heater wasn’t working while we were there. We only had housekeeping two times and they were not very thorough. Floors were not cleaned supplies not refilled.

The room was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub although at times, the hot tub did not feel as hot as it should have. One day, we did specifically ask for a refresh and it never happened. The breakfast each day was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The $rate for our stay was excellent!

The staff at the front desk was always very friendly which was greatly appreciated. We were a bit frustrated though that the elevator was out of order our entire stay but we understand things happen. Our rooms were right next to the supply closet, so we heard everything all the time: the maids moving things around, shouting to each other across the hall, and everyone passing our room to get to the stairs since the elevator was broken. It was quite noisy and it often started every morning around 7am. Coming from a different state where there is a 2 hour time difference, this did not allow us to ever get a good night's sleep. Also, one of the reasons we booked this hotel over its competitor is because it came with complimentary breakfast. It was disappointing though that breakfast was served from 6am-9am, ending so early! We never made it after our horrible nights sleep. We thought we'd try to relax a little by going in the jacuzzi but it was so hot and humid in the indoor space with no ventilation and the temperature of the water was luke warm. Overall things appeared to be clean and updated (with painting happening our last day), though some things were a little dingy around the doorways in our rooms, and the drinking glasses both had lipstick on them. It was nice though that the rooms came with mini fridges and a microwave. It was ok for what it was, but next time we're in town we'll be checking out another hotel.

For the price, it’s ok. Restroom was slow to flush- it took 2-4 attempts to get it to go. At one point I used the shower flex nozzle to help the flow. Room 211. Having breakfast over at 9 is ridiculous- especially on weekends. Elevator did NOT work. An employee mentioned that the elevator had not worked for 2 weeks! Really ? On a positive note, all employees were nice n helpful- especially the lady at the desk on July 18 afternoon.

Make sure you ask for a renovated room. Mine was not renovated yet and there was rust and mold on a lot of surfaces and the tub was very stained. Luckily they had a room that had been renovated available and they moved me.

This was by far the cleanest hotel. I stayed in in a very long time, and I travel in August every year, to different cities and the one in Kingwood was beautiful The maids even folded my pjs each morning while i was out.

The beds appeared to not have had the sheets changed. The room also smelled bad. The front desk attendant was kind and understanding. She assisted me by providing a room change. I was ready to leave and try to find another hotel. It is possible, that due to the floods in the area, housekeeping was interrupted, however, I did not pay for unclean , skept in sheets.

When I arrived there was a gentleman smoking marijuana outside the building. While in the lobby another resident was complaining that his tv wasn't working little did I know mine wasn't working either. I called the front desk and I was told to unplug it and plug back in. That didn't work either. The room door didn't have that extra security thing that's usually on hotel doors when it's being occupied by a guest so I really felt uncomfortable. The door was filthy. The floors was filthy with hairs and can tell that it hasn't been mopped or swept. The room had a moldy mildew smell. The chair had a red or pink stain on it. The front desk clerk was kind the room just wasn't up to par. I took pictures of everything.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the first (and last) time while visiting family nearby. The room APPEARED clean, but it smelled awful of mildew and possibly mold. The smell hit us as soon as we walked in the door: humid, moldy mildew. Unfortunately, we were too exhausted to look elsewhere, and the 2 hotels that we usually book were sold out. Additionally, the "breakfast" the next morning was also disappointing. The coffee was barely lukewarm, there was no creamer (not even in the kitchen when I tracked down staff to ask for some), and the supplies were understocked. This hotel REALLY needs some work on cleanliness (especially a DEEP CLEANING), and training for staff to properly maintain the dining area food, drinks and supplies. Honestly, the best part of our stay was the friendly, professional greeting of Gail at the front desk when we checked in, weary from traveling all day. We will NOT ever stay here again, nor would we recommend it to anyone.

Room was spacious but lacked adequate blankets and window coverings. There were also chip crumbs on the ground in the closets. The service was good. Would recommend the hotel provide a solid amount of blankets upon arrival and improve the ability of the blinds to block out the bright lights from the parking lot.

This property is badly in need of an update. TVs did not have internet connection so forced to scroll through live channels. Despite the fact there were streaming apps such as Netflix, they required an internet connection to the TV which property said they didn’t have Only 2 usb connections in room. One on each side of bed. One side didn’t work. Outlets on that side of bed didn’t work. Breakfast was very poor. Property was generally clean and otherwise the room was fine. Probably won’t stay there again.

The walls were painted with high gloss white paint and the light bulbs were harsh white light. The combination was awful as the walls reflected the harsh light and made the room feel barren and uncomfortable. A flater paint and softer lighting would have made a huge difference. We shut off the lights and just kept the bathroom light on. The bedspreads were very thin and not cozy at all. Overall the room, while clean, lacked ambiance. Didnt want to spend much time in the room. The bodywash dispenser was empty.

The front desk staff was AMAZING and the best part of our stay. The room itself was a bit disappointing. I had booked a suite, which has meant a separate bedroom and living area at every other similar place I’ve stayed at. Here, however, it’s just a slightly larger regular room. The TV signal went out frequently and the fridge took forever to chill anything. The furnishings were somewhat shabby…torn coverings on desk chair and sofa pillows, etc. It was not a bad stay by any means, but definitely not worth the $250 we spent.

We had a room with 2 queen beds. There was 1 very uncomfortable chair in the room. The only other furniture were the beds and a shelf. There was one stand for a suitcase. The other suitcase was on the floor which is difficult for seniors. The bedspread was very flimsy. There was no additional blanket. There was a night stand between the beds. It had enough room to charge my watch, phone, and iPad. My husband had to put his devices in the floor to charge them. There was no bureau in the room. I was very disappointed in the room. We had to switch rooms because the TV did not work and the maintenance staff quit at 3 pm. It was 6 when we checked in. The breakfast room had furniture stacked in one area. And when you walked in the lobby, furniture was stacked in a side area. Not sure what was planned for the excess furniture. The staff was great. The breakfast was ok.

The lady who checked me in was very nice and accommodating. However, she did not tell me or give me anything that stated I had to ASK for my room to be cleaned or clean towels given. I had to go downstairs the 2nd day for clean towels. (they don\'t dry well in Houston) my room was never cleaned. On Christmas day I asked if it would be possible to have the trash emptied and get clean towels. The girl shoved a piece of paper at me that said I would have had to arrange it prior to the 25th. I understood it was Christmas, but again I was never informed of this. The times I went through the lobby to ask there was no one there. One night I was out of toilet paper so I called the front desk. He told me he would bring it "in a few minutes". FORTY minutes later I went downstairs where 2 employees were talking. I asked for my toilet paper. One employee giggled and said "OH! I knew someone needed it, but I couldn\'t remember the room!" extremely poor customer service.

The stay was good. The staff were friendly once I got helped. I waited to check in for longer than seemed necessary, with 2 staff working & no one in front of me. One staff buzzed around doing multiple things & the other searched on the computer for a form & answered the phone. Finally, the manager or someone at a higher level asked if I had been helped & when I answered no, he got the other 2 staff to help get me checked in. The actual check in process was fine.

This hotel is the absolute worst, the hotel manager stood in front of me and tried to help while going in the back on the phone refusing any help to fix a simple mistake. Would not recommend to anyone!!!!!

Absolutely the prettiest setting for a La Quinta. Although right next to a major highway, it is surrounded by lovely grounds with lots of trees. A little noisy, but windows keep out most traffic noise.

Have stayed here several times before. Has gone downhill. Terrible breakfast. No bacon/sausage, biscuits or gravy. no sweet rolls or muffins. Minimal fruit. Coffee empty. in both spots. Had to ask. Two day stay. Was told on checkout that had to ask for room service for towels, to have beds made. Will say front desk staff was friendly and helpful when asked, but as long time LaQuinta stayer, probably will try another chain. Also used to belong to the rewards program. Not getting anything from Wyndham so might as well go somewhere else.
